KKIM/TV Morning Cup with YOU! KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM family,

I believe God talks to me on any given moment by guiding and comforting me through Bible verses and brining into my life Brothers and Sisters to help me in my walk with HIM.

I encourage you to have a HOME Church......You need that anchor.......You need that family.......You need a Pastor or Pastor's! I have over a dozen!!! (Dr. Larry bates call's them Dewey's Warriors!!!)The Lord put it on my heart to share with those of you (and I know there are many, because I hear from you) who do not have a home Church, you really need to pray and seek that ANCHOR! It is an ANCHOR into God's love! Pray and God will send the Church you are to attend.

Last night I was with Ch 11 Son Broadcasting helping with their Praise-A-Thon. What a blessing to be with them on this special night. What is so awesome is to see Christian Broadcasters coming together. KKIM and Son Broadcasting have become partners in Christ...working together for the Lord. I really love Annette, Ted, and Sue....the whole staff at Son. We are working together to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I see the Church also coming together here in New Mexico!!! For God's Glory alone! I share more about last night below.........

Let me share these notes with you first..........

Dewey:

Thanks you so much for the invitation to attend Dr. Bates' Economic and Political Crisis Update. In my opinion, Dr. Bates was spot on about investments, personal preparation and personal responsibility, and the importance of food independence. All States, especially ours, would be well served by following Dr. Bates' counsel.

Wonderful to see so many in attendance who care so deeply about our State and Nation.

Wonderful to see you too.

Thanks again.

Thank you Janice!

Hi Dewey,
Thanks for the cup today. Also wanted to insert that UNM is currently spending over $50 million to renovate the basketball cathedral. How much good could have come in our state from that kind of money which was approved by our legislature (our Gov. has a choice box of course). But also, "How about them Cowboys?" They just spent $1.3billion to build the new Cowboy Palace. So, is this a sign of our times pointing to the idols we worship, or what? God bless.

Pastor Don
Thanks Pastor Don! By the way I was wrong on Coach Locksley salary, he makes more than I was told. He makes $750,000 a yr for 6 yrs plus bonuses. Learning today that your phone calls have made a difference. UNM feels the heat and Human Resources will investigate the Coach for his actions. The AD sure was in a hurry to get rid of this one with his verbal reprimand and letter! Locksley contract contains a clause that would allow UNM to terminate him for "adequate cause," which includes assault or battery on another person. If UNM did so, it would have to pay him ONLY what he earned up to the time he were fired. UNM needs to remove him now! AD Krebs should also get a warning on how he tried to slip by this one.

Now your phone calls, emails are going to be needed come Jan........here is KKIM's Frank Haley.........

During his final year in office, Gov. Bill Richardson will try again to get the New Mexico Legislature to pass a bill establishing domestic partnerships, an aide confirmed Tuesday.

Eric Witt, Richardson's legislative liaison, said the bill will be introduced in the regular 30-day session of the Legislature, which convenes in January to deal primarily with financial matters.

The only nonfinancial matters that can be considered during the short session must be included on the governor's call.

Linda Siegle, lobbyist for Equality New Mexico, a gay and lesbian rights organization, said Tuesday that advocates have been meeting with a representative of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in an effort to come up with legislation that wouldn't draw opposition from the Roman Catholic Church.

"I think it's contingent on a successful conversation with the Catholic Church," Siegle said of the proposal to extend to unmarried couples a legal standing more like that of married couples.

Many on both sides of the debate said it was the opposition of the New Mexico Conference of Catholic Bishops — which in previous years had been neutral on domestic partnerships — that led to the lopsided defeat of a domestic partnership bill in the state Senate earlier this year.

WOW!
What a night for the Lord!
Pastor Leonard Navarre, Bishop OJ McIntyre of Farmington really preached up a storm last night! WOW can those guy PREACH IT! I told the folks on Ch 11 that I was so fired up I wanted to march around the building!!!!

Also beautiful music and song was provided by Chuck Elmore of New Life City, what a wonderful man of God! Valerie Delgado who has sung for us on KKIM with friend Katrina, remember they sang the National anthem on NM News and Views on 9/11? Valerie is with Destiny of Albuquerque, Valerie has such a beautiful voice for God!

Christian media, KKIM and Son broadcasting coming together, The Church coming together, all denominations...WOW That is what KKIM and Son share! That is what you share with us! Thank you Annette, Ted and Sue for allowing myself and KKIM to take part. For God's Glory Alone!!!!!

Let me share this with you as I close..........

Some people look at me.Like I am wacked(Yes I am.I am wacked for GOD!!!) when I tell them God speaks to me! I got an email awhile back that said something like this..I have been a Christian all my life and God has never spoken to me! That is after I said God had told me something.

Well, yesterday I picked up a book at Bibles Plus by Beck Tirabassi entitled, "Let God talk to You"

I know God talks to us........but we have to have the heart to hear HIM. When our walk is so close to God He sends the Holy Spirit, the Messenger, to guide us through life.

It is one of the most exciting things in the Christian life!!!! WOW!

Lord willing I will share with you from Becky's book as I go through it.........here is a taste........

God most often talks to me through His Word, followed by simple thoughts or ideas----requiring some action, often very practical, but not necessarily easy to do. At first, what He asks of me may seem unusual, or even impossible. However, if I don't argue or procrastinate and willingly follow His directions, His voice gets clearer. In fact, His voice almost stirs some emotion in me: my heart races, my cheeks flood with redness, or my toes tap quickly and anxiously until I do or say what I feel He is compelling me to do or say.

When God talks to me, I always feel motivated----physically, emotionally, or spiritually.

AMEN! I feel the same way!

Have you talked to God lately? has God talked to you?

Maybe you need to go to a quiet spot right now and reconnect with God........and hear HIS voice.

If you would like to talk to me about this just let me know.

Let us pray...............

Lord, we pray today for those who do not hear Your voice.......We pray that their hearts will be opened up by the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Tue Cup With Dewey KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Meekness does not stand for weakness, but POWER under control

Much is on my mind today..........

On Twitter this morning www.twitter.com/radiodewey I hit a nerve in New Mexico when I stated this:

Here in NM we have 332,000 people living below the poverty line, but yet we pay UNM FB Coach 1/2 million and the BB Coach $750,000 a year!!!

Many seem to agree that it makes no sense! I have asked State Rep. Janice E Arnold Jones how much of our money is spent on sports programs!

All this comes on the heels of the Lobo Football Coach slugging one of his Coaches, this is not the first time Coach Locksley has been in trouble since coming to New Mexico. Details at http://mykkim.com under programming, news and weather. Frank also has posted an excellent write up on Health Care by a Constitutional Law Instructor.

Plus now State Officials announced that the Budget Deficit may be over 500 million And layoffs may have to occur. Details on our web site.

According to State Rep Janice E Arnold Jones.....All schools including Colleges and Universities make up about 63% of budget. That of course leaves little for medicare, public safety, roads and other services.

And the The Public School system has failed in New Mexico, but yet we keep pouring money down this rat's hole!

Here's the deal......It takes Boldness to lead......I purpose all sports programs be cut at least by 50%!!! I know many think Sports is "Sacred", I am a Big baseball fan,but we need to get our priorities right!

Janice is going to get us the SPORTS portion of the budget!

I think we should leave it up to us what to cut! Tax payers know best! Let's make a list and vote!

Also at http://mykkim.com The KKIM Quick Poll asks, Do you trust Gov. Richardson? Last check 78% said no. The Gov. would be wise to resign at this point. His administration has been a complete failure.

I really want to invite you to join us on twitter, as we have news alerts, prayer needs, program updates, special announcements and more all day long. http://twitter.com/radiodewey

I want to share this with you.............

I talked to many of you at Dr. Bates seminar and you told me to keep the TRUTH coming.......keep giving us the news........The Lord has put that on my heart so strongly!

Tonight Pastor Leonard and I will be on Ch. 11, Son Broadcasting, we will be on a panel talking about issues of the Family. Ch. 11 is holding it's Praise-A-Thon and we are blessed to take part in helping our Christian Brothers and Sisters.

Okay let me share this..........

I don't know where you are at in your life today........or what you are facing.........lately I have met many who have a drug problem, alcohol, can't pay the rent, marriage problems, child custody problems, etc........

You need help........

You need someone to listen......I am here for you.I am here to serve.....

Rest your case with the Lord. Take your battles to the Lord.

Take your battles to HIM in prayer.

With a clear conscience and committed to the TRUTH, lay your case before HIM.

Start there.

And the Judge of all TRUTH will guide you to your next step.

Don't quit.

Don't stop!

Don't tell yourself that you really are a person that is no good.

Count on the LORD to give you the strength and the courage to stand on the truth.

HIS grace has brought you this far, and it will be HIS grace that will FREE you!

Give your life over to GOD completely....completely.........completely.....let go.........be with God.

HE will send the Holy Spirit to guide you.

Let us pray............

Lord God,

How Thankful we are for Your Book, Your Word that lives and abides forever. Thank You for the way truth comes to life when we see it as print on pages of the Bible. Thank You for the power of Your Word that transforms lives and mends broken hearts and strengthens frightened hearts. May we, in the process of time, begin to feel more and more at home in Your Word. Thank You for coming to our rescue again and again by Your grace. And for those who are most afraid, weak, have doubt, do not believe, We pray they will know Your peace and strength and relief from anxiety as they turn their lives over to You. May we all bathe in Your Words. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

let us become more and more at home in God's words.......God's love.......let us seek the peaceful rest in God's arms each day.

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family

see ya on tv tonight, even thou I have a face for radio! LOL!

Quick Morning Cup KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

They fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. But Jesus came and touched them and said, "Arise, and do not be afraid." Matt. 17: 6-7

Let me share with you my dear, dear friends this from Amy.......How lovely.........

Dear Dewey,
Hello!
It has been awhile since I have sent you a message, but please know that I have been receiving and being blessed by the cup daily!
You and many of your prayer warriors have been praying for me for quite awhile. My mother, Cherie, first brought me to the attention of your pray-ers, and I want to thank everyone of them. I ask that they still continue, as we are not totally finished with the treatment for the cancer that I was diagnosed with, but I do want to let you know that 18 months into treatment, things are looking pretty good. I was on chemo for almost a full year, had a mastectomy during that time, and have been on herceptin the whole time as well. In the next few weeks I am having some tests done to see if it is appropriate to reduce the herceptin to every other week instead of weekly (praise God and please God!). I am so thankful. I am praying for continued good test results (and they all have been positive in their results since the first ones!)
I just wanted to thank everyone for the prayers, and let you all know that you are appreciated, and that God has answered the prayers offered up for me so far with a resounding, "yes!"

Also a reminder for your readers: Not all breast cancer comes with lumps. Learn about Inflammatory Breast Cancer. Redness, swelling, skin changes and size changes can indicate the need for intervention! Awareness could save your life or the life of a loved one!

Many blessings!
With a thankful heart,
Amy Schultz (teacher in Pasadena, California!)

We are praying for you Amy.......I will never forget the time you were on Sandy Harrington's program and shared so much with us........what a blessing! Your Mom is a treasure also!

This past Saturday we had a sell out crowd at Dr. Larry Bates seminar! It was so AWESOME.the energy for God was so HIGH!!! Larry Pratt, host of Live Fire, was also AWESOME! Thanks to you all who came up and said Hello and that you pray for us everyday! We had listeners come from all over the State! Many new listeners of KKIIM, PRAISE GOD the Ministry is growing for HIS GLORY!

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Matt. 24:6

There is a lot of anger out in the world.........in our own cities and neighborhoods.........Daughter Gretchen cried yesterday on how a couple of customers treated her...Two customers got into a shouting match in the drive up honking horns and cussing at each other........this all over........a cup of coffee....WOW! Son Greg is having a challenge with that also at his work........The unsaved have nothing but the flesh...........Just think.....nothing but the flesh......I heard from one of our Brothers that a man about ran him off the road because he was angry at him about a bill for services. This is where I go back to the Great Commission and the Armor of God. We need to spread the word and bring other's to Jesus and put the Armor of God on every morning. Anger is eating up half the world we live in! Anger is Satan!

"Why are you frightened?" he asked. "Why are your hearts filled with doubt?" Luke 24:38

Many are angry because their hearts are filled with doubt.........they know nothing but doubt, what a miserable, lonely place to be! Pray for them, you know people like this, maybe you are one of them. We need to pray for the unsaved.......We need to Fulfill the Great Commission everyday! We need to put on the Armor of God everyday!

As Max Lucado says in his new book, Fearless, "This Planet is Brutal!"

Let us pray............

Blessed Jesus, We come before You to give "glory to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever" In Jesus name, Amen! (Rev. 5:13)

ACTION ALERT

Senate Healthcare Reform-Abortion Vote Tuesday 9/29
Please forward this information to family, friends and colleagues. Encourage them to subscribe at www.tvacnm.com to receive e-mail alerts.

Call Senate Finance Committee Senators-Urge them to support Senator Orrin Hatch’s amendments, which EXCLUDE abortion funding and protect conscience rights for healthcare workers.

On Tuesday, 9/29, members of the US Senate Financ ial Services Committee will vote on amendments to exclude abortion coverage from Sen. Max Baucus’ (D-Mont) healthcare bill. Without these amendments, the Baucus bill explicitly includes abortion funding and subsidizes health plans to cover ALL elective abortions. Such subsidies go well beyond the status quo of preventing federal funds from paying for abortions or subsidizing plans that cover abortions under current laws governing Medicaid, Employee Health Benefits Plan and the State Children’s Health Insurance Plan.

Please call these key Senators Monday, 9/28.
Urge them to support Sen. Hatch’s amendments to keep government funded abortions out of the Baucus bill:

Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-NM) 202-224-5521
Sen. Thomas Carper (D-Del) 202-224-2441

A Cup with Dr. Larry Bates KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Keep this day in your prayers as 50,000 Muslim's march on Washington DC today for prayer to their God. Let us pray that they will accept the Lord Jesus Christ. More on this is posted below.

"Jesus never taught His disciples how to preach, only how to pray. He did not speak much of what was needed to preach well, but much of praying well. To know how to speak to God is more important than knowing how to speak to man. Not power with men, but power with God is the first thing. Jesus loves to teach us how to pray." Andrew Murray

Today and all days we need to carry out the Great Commission and put on the Armor of God. Matt 28: 16-20 and Eph 6: 10-20

"Don't panic. I'm with you. There's no need to fear for I'm your God. I'll give you strength. I'll help you. I'll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you." Isaiah 41:10 (MSG)

Dewey,

Just to share and encourage in LORD!

God Knows Our Sadness

I thought that Dancing with the Stars did an awesome tribute to Patrick Swayzie, but it left me feeling sad.

I was confused about why I was sad... when I believe in Heaven. After all he was suffering here on earth and in Heaven there will be no more suffering.

God, as always, leads us to understanding when we seek HIM in HIS word! And for me, today, God put HIS Word on my heart about my confusion about experiencing sadness when there is Victory!

John 11:33
"Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping...He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. vs 35 "He wept."

Jesus knew there is victory over death, and yet HE wept.
vs 36 "Then the Jews said, "See how He loved him!"

Although I didn't personally know Patrick Swayzie, I did sense a bond in Christ with him...that God given love through Jesus...and also, his movies were marks in my life that I remember...and now he is gone as I knew him on this earth. But, 1 Corinthians 15:57 "Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

I did a show in November on this topic: God Knows Our Sadness"

I thanked God for the opportunity to share in such an awesome way to bring comfort to another as we rejoice in the Glory of God! We all experience sadness...sometimes it comes with confusion.

We react in the face of death... with sadness, but our trust in the gospel makes all the difference!

1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
"And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words....from vs 15-18.

Today's show, if I remember correctly is God lead to reveal just how much Jesus can do for us...Jesus is the water that washes our sins away.
The show is entitled:
Jesus IS God's Ability To Make Us New

It may be a little slow...but the meaning is there...To God be the Glory!

In Christ's Name,
Karen Rowe

NM NEWS & VIEWS FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2009
THIS IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN!

What a POWERFUL program Today! (Jesus Is The Wisdom & Power Of God, According to Paul The Apostle in The Word Of God, The Truth, which Is JESUS and that's what we bring forth every weekday here on KKIM) I want you to read the following Scriptures, before we get started tonight, especially James 4:4 & Romans 5:10. You can't make this news up!

James 4:1-17 (NASB)

1 What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members?

2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.

3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.

4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

5 Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: "He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us"?

6 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, "God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble."

7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

9 Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom.

10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.

11 Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?

13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit."

14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

15 Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that."

16 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.

17 Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Romans 5:1-21 (NASB)

1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;

4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;

5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.

7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.

8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.

10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

15 But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.

16 The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification.

17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.

19 For as through the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.

20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,

21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

“Certain things will happen in history if we pray rightly. We are to change the world by prayer.”- Richard Foster
“Intercession is the link between man’s impotence and God’s omnipotence.”- Andrew Murray
Dear Friends,
I am quoting from an urgent letter sent by Lou Engle of the Call and Shirley Dobson of America’s National Day of Prayer, asking if you would join us in praying about the “rising tide of Islamic boldness being manifested” in the USA. They write:
Several happenings are converging this week. First of all, our President has recently proclaimed, honored, encouraged the Muslim holy days of prayer and fasting called Ramadan. He was very silent on the National Day of Prayer but very vocal on the support of Ramadan…At the same time, on the 25th of September, Muslims are calling for a Muslim Day of Prayer in Washington DC (http://www.islamoncapitolhill.com/). They are calling for 50,000 Muslims to gather and pray on the DC Mall. This is the exact word of one of the Sheikhs who is leading this historic gathering, “Muslims should march on the White House. We are going to the White House so that Islam will be victorious, Allah willing, and the White House will become into a Muslim house.” These are not empty words. They speak of a dark spiritual intent and a coming day of great trouble to America.

Now these events are enough to awaken us to this significant throbbing moment, but when they all converge it becomes a massive spiritual alarm that must be responded to by the praying Church.~This convergence, I believe, is urgently summoning us in the midst of the rising tide of Islamic influence in America to recognize that our God is above every god and that if we return to Him with all of our hearts and call upon Him with fasting and prayer then God could use what the enemy meant for evil to bring about a great day of salvation for Muslims in America.

The organizers go on to call the Church of America to “fast and pray that Muslims would be moved by the Holy Spirit, convicted by the testimony of Christ, and even be visited by Jesus in dreams” and affirm that “we must pray that God would restrain the spiritual powers behind Islam and grant us the great awakening that we desperately need for America”.

Let’s pray about this crucial situation that the growing influence of Islam will be broken and that Muslims will be brought to the Lord. Pray for President Obama who outwardly professes to be a Christian that he will not fall under this influence due to political correctness or other motives but that he will give himself fully to Jesus Christ.

A Global Prayer Network website is being developed over the next several weeks to connect intercessors worldwide to pray for our world. This is a truly thrilling thing that the Lord has brought about in the past few months! There are more than 20 ministry organizations and networks who are now supporting this, and the website will not be owned by any one organization so that it will genuinely be a resource for the whole Body of Christ to use. Please pray for the team of web developers who are beginning work now- for His creativity, unity and clarity, and that they will produce a tool that will be user-friendly and effective in connecting people to pray. Pray for the word to get out to God’s people around the world, and that thousands- eventually millions- will utilize it to pray more deeply and intelligently about the issues of their cities, nations, regions and our planet.

I don’t usually ask prayer for individuals but this is a very important request for a key family in His kingdom’s work around the world. Jewel Tunnicliffe, wife of Geoff Tunnicliffe, the CEO of the World Evangelical Alliance, has been suddenly stricken with a large growth that may be cancer. It has developed quickly and the doctors are trying to understand the situation. Please pray for her healing, that the tumor will decrease in size and disappear from her body, and that she will be fully restored by the power of the Lord. Pray for His peace and confidence for her and her family as well.

Thanks for your partnership in bringing these things to His throne.
Warm greetings,
John Robb
International Prayer Council

Here's Dr. Deb with a run down on her program tomorrow morning........
Dear Listeners,

What do you know about the “Bads Girls” of the Bible? We will learn about one of them who played a significant role in the lineage of Jesus. Julia Newman, Womens Ministry Chairperson at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church will be my guest. She will tell us about this woman and how her life can impact us today in a positive way. We will all take away a strong message about God’s mercy and redeeming love.

The show airs from 8:05 to 9:00 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) this Saturday September 26 on KKIM-AM1000 or FM94.7 in the Santa Fe /northern NM area. If you are looking for a good movie to see this weekend, check out The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry. Gavin Macleod stars as Jonathan Sperry who shows three young boys how to live a Christian life in the midst of life's challenges. It is a good Christian movie with several interesting story lines. It is worth your time and money to see.

Muslim Day Day of Prayer KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

We have this note from John Robb of Albuquerque who is with the International Prayer Council..............The body of Christ must awake and pray! This issue, like 60,000 gathering in Times Sq. this week to pray is being ignored by the media.

For those of you who are able, we are invited to a conference call to pray for the country on Thursday, September 24th from 7:30PM to 9:00PM Eastern Standard Time. Here is are the dial in numbers and a live audio feed if you would like to participate: 712-338-8100, Alternate Dial in Numbers: 218-486-1400, 507-726-3200 Participant Passcode: 637#
Live Audio Feed:~www.nationaldayofprayer.org~or~www.thecall.com

Warm greetings,
John Robb

KKIM NEWS ALERT

I feel that we are watching a train wreck about to happen.........

New Mexico Justice at it's best or worst?

By the time you read this Judge Michael Vigil could have dismissed the case against Carlos Fierro on vehicular homicide charges. Fierro is a high powered attorney in the state of New Mexico.

Is the "Political machine" in New Mexico at work here?

Fierro's Lawyers acknowledge that he was drunk and ran over the victim, who died, but say he didn't know what he hit and that the accident was unavoidable because the victim was jaywalking.

Fierro's lawyers have called for a dismissal of the charges because of what they are calling misconduct and vindictiveness by the Santa Fe District Attorney's Office.

They maintain that the Dist. Attorney's Office divulged confidential, classified, law enforcement sensitive information to a consultant the DA hired to help with the jury selection process.

Santa Fe Dist. Attorney Angela Pacheco says she used the NCIC system because of concerns of TAMPERING in the case.

Based on information that a prosecution witness was recently approached by someone to change his testimony. That witness is Sol Bently.

Pacheco said that Bently reported that about two weeks ago two Hispanic men approached him at Buffalo Thunder Resort where he DJ's, and asked him, "What would it take for you to change your testimony?"

Fierro has friends in high places........Will Justice prevail here? Is the Judge being pressured? Witnesses being pressured?

Riding in the car with Fierro that night when he struck and killed the man, was State Trooper Alfred Lovato (he has since resigned) and member of Gov. Richardson's security detail at the time of the hit-and-run. he also faces charges in the case.

We will have more on this at 4:30 NM News and Views

KKIM NEWS ALERT

State Rep. Nora Espinoza alerts us the following..............

To anyone who wants to preserve federal funding for abstinence education--

We need your help We have an opportunity to reinstate federally funded Title V Abstinence Education that New Mexico received for 10 years. The vote will likely be Wednesday (tomorrow) in the Senate Finance Committee, so we need to mobilize TODAY. We need a minimum of 100 unique calls from people across the state to go into New Mexico Senator Jeff Bingaman's office because he is a member of the Senate Finance Committee. There is no need for you to be an Abstinence Education provider....only a concerned citizen. Can we count on you to help? We need to turn 3 Democrat votes in order to win.

Where to call The United States Capitol switchboard number is (202) 224-3121 (202) 224-3121 . A switchboard operator will connect you directly to your Senator Bingaman's Office.

What you can say to Senator Bingaman's Office

"I am calling to urge Senator Bingaman to stand with youth in our state by voting "yes" on Senator Hatch's amendment to continue Title V abstinence education funding to states. This amendment will be offered as a part of the Senate health care reform bill. Abstinence alleviates millions of dollars in health care costs related to teen sexual activity. Can we count on Senator Bingaman's support of the Hatch Abstinence Education amendment? Thank you."

Please make a personal call to your friends and colleagues asking them to immediately call Senator Bingaman as well, or email this message.

If you need additional background information, please read on...Otherwise, please call NOW!

Senator Hatch (R-UT) has introduced an amendment into the Senate health care reform bill to reinstate Title V Abstinence Education funding for FY2010. This amendment will be offered this week in the Senate Finance Committee. (The vote could be as early as tomorrow.)

Title V state block grants for abstinence education expired June 30, 2009. Since then, 2 actions in the House have been taken related to this funding:

1. Rep. Lee Terry introduced an amendment in the House to reinstate Title V Abstinence Education Funding. It failed by only 3 votes in anti-abstinence Waxman's Energy & Commerce Committee earlier this year.

2. An amendment was successfully inserted in the House health care reform bill to transfer former Title V funds to "comprehensive" sex education block grants to states.

Recent research analysis demonstrates that school based abstinence education is more successful in positive behavior change than so-called "comprehensive" sex education.

NM NEWS & VIEWS FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 22, 2009
THIS IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN!

We strive very hard to bring you The Truth here every day at KKIM on NM News & Views and if you've been listen in the Albuquerque area on AM 1000, FM 94.7 out of Santa Fe or anywhere around the world through our streaming audio on the internet at http://mykkim.com , you have heard us talking MUCH about The Word of God lately, so I have chosen to put the following story up first, because The Bible says that one can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight and that's The Good News of the day! How is it that nobody else anywhere has covered this report?

WND Exclusive TESTING THE FAITH

60,000 pray in Times Square!

But media fail to notice this most unusual event:

NEW YORK – You can see most anything at Times Square in Manhattan.

But 60,000 people praying? That's an unusual sight in the heart of Broadway.

Yet, that's just what happened there yesterday for one hour – from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in a Christian rally called Prayer in the Square.

Event organizers from Time Square Church had expected some 15,000. But their expectations were far exceeded at the third event of its kind in the last three years.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who helped the church cut through the red tape necessary to hold such an event, addressed the crowd.

"It's a little strange for me to be up here," he said. "I'm a Jew. But I just celebrated Rosh Hoshana, our new year. So I guess it's appropriate for me to wish you all a happy new year."

Despite the magnitude of the event, no major media covered it – even in the center of the media world on a slow news day.

More than 200 churches joined with the Times Square Church in promoting the rally to pray for the city and the nation.

A 180-voice choir sang worship songs and the entire event was simulcast on the News Astrovision screen at One Times Square and on several radio stations. Carter Conlon, pastor of the Times Square Church, said preceding the event that this Prayer in the Square might be the last.

"The Lord called us to host, fund and organize this event for the last three years," he said. "He told us that the first year would establish credibility with the city, and we have received positive feedback from various city agencies, including the office of the Mayor himself, commending us for honesty, order, and keeping our word. The second year confirmed to local churches that this was not the beginning of some new ministry but rather a gathering for the sole purpose of one hour of prayer, in humility, with all denominations represented and no personalities or ministry showcased. Those who have attended can attest to the fact that this has been so. Everything has unfolded exactly as the Lord impressed upon our hearts it would."

A PERSONAL THANKYOU CUP !!!! KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

A BIG THANK YOU to so many of you who have helped me in my walk with Jesus Christ!

The Lord really put that on my heart this morning!

I thank all of you who have supported me in my walk toward becoming a Pastor! There are many of you and I do not want to leave out anyone!

I will say this, Thanks to my Grandparents, Mom and Dad, and to my children and my soul mate Wife, Sharon.

I got an email weeks ago from a lovely lady living in Phoenix, she said if she lived in Albuquerque she would attend my Church! Very humbling, As Frank Haley says, "For God's Glory alone!" The Church the Lord has given me to look over is KKIM. In the meantime if you would like me to come and preach at your Church I will travel where ever the Lord sends me!

The Lord has really put it on my heart to fulfill the Great Commission by putting on the full armor of God! Everyone of us should fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 16-20) by putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-20) Please read and pray over that scripture today and everyday.

I am being surrounded by so many people of God........For God's Glory alone!!!!!!!! and you are one of them! Thank you! From myself and Sharon

Here's the good news.......When you receive the Lord and have a personal relationship with Him, He will guide you through life.

Have a close walk with Jesus Christ, a deep study of the Bible, an intense prayer life it all will provide you with special discernment.

One final thought on this Thankful morning here at the CUP and KKIM........

It is not that we don't have faith, it is just that Satan is trying to destroy our faith with lies.

I Praise God for all of you and Love you all much!

As my buddy Frank says, For God's Glory Alone!

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family

Monday Cup Graham/Kennedy families KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Our PASSION for God determines our COMPASSION for others.

Praying for you and your families.

Leonard

Here is an update on the News Story we carried yesterday on the Church that Dr. D James Kennedy founded now being led by Bill Graham's grandson.
Before we take a look at the story, I talked about this when I preached yesterday, Two of the Greatest families of Christianity in America, Billy Graham's and Dr. D James Kennedy's at odds. Billy's grandson taking over Coral Ridge the Church Kennedy founded and replacing a man who stood firm on social issues like abortion and homosexuality. Then you have Kennedy's daughter leading the campaign to remove Billy's grandson.

Can you imagine the pain Billy feels for his grandson.........The pain Kennedy's daughter feels as the Church drift's from what she believes her father would have wanted.

Let us pray for both families and the Church. I think this is an example of what is happening across America.......Much of the Church is trying to find it's role in dealing with social issues like abortion, homosexuality, etc...

We have to realize how much trouble the Church is in when it has homosexuals as Pastors. But that now does not seem to bother many in the Church.

We cannot sit by and witness babies being killed everyday.

The foundation of much of the Church is crumbling.

Is it easier for a Church to gain members without standing firm on God's words and ways?

We need to remember that God calls us to be the Salt and Light of the World and to occupy until HE comes.

I preached on the Great Commission Matthew 28: 16-20 and the Armor of God Eph 6: 10-20

That is what God put on my mind this morning, we need to pray for the Church and for the Graham and Kennedy families.

The famed Fla. megachurch founded by the late D. James Kennedy will not be dissolving the relationship with its new senior pastor following a high anticipated vote Sunday.
At a rare congregational meeting Sunday, members of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church voted 940-422 (69 to 31 percent) in favor of keeping the Rev. Tullian Tchividijan as the church’s second senior minister in five decades.
While the margin of victory was smaller than the one in March (91 to 9 percent) that resulted in Tchividjian’s election, the 37-year-old preacher thanked the Coral Ridge family for standing behind him and his family and for supporting him as their new pastor.
“While conflict is never easily resolved, this matter was handled in accordance with our denomination’s guidelines and we now look forward to moving forward with the work I believe God has called us to do in this community,” expressed Tchividjian, whose grandfather is the world renowned evangelist Billy Graham.
Sunday’s vote had been called after more than 400 church members signed a petition calling for a congregational meeting to reconsider the church’s decision to call Tchividjian to serve as its senior minister.
Those opposed to Tchividjian’s leadership listed a number of reasons for the their new senior pastor’s removal, including his alleged failure to present the Gospel clearly, his failure to raise awareness on current issues, and the replacement of CRPC staff with “less qualified staff members who are, however, ‘loyal’ to the new administration.”
Many of the complaints – including the ones brought up in Sunday’s closed-door meeting – centered around Tchividjian inability or unwillingness to maintain the legacy of the church’s late founder and the church's departure from long-standing traditions, such as the conclusion of every sermon with a call for visitors to come to Christ.
“We have seen a complete lack of respect towards the congregation and for long standing traditions that have been part of Coral Ridge’s rich heritage for decades,” stated a letter drafted late July by the six most vocal dissenters, which included Kennedy’s daughter, Jennifer Cassidy.
“We were told many things that all sounded good at the time, but in fact those soothing words have largely proven empty and it keeps getting worse,” they added.
Because the dissenters' petition was able to collect the minimum 100 signatures needed, church elders were required under their Book of Church Or der to call for a congregational meeting for the purpose of conducting the business requested by the petitioners – namely to vote on whether or not to “amicably” dissolve the relationship with Tchividjian and the consequent merger of Coral Ridge and New City Church, the Margate-based church Tchividjian had founded in 2003.
During the meeting, church members in good standing heard from fellow members on why they supported or opposed the motion to dissolve the relationship with Tchividjian.
The meeting, which took place at 11 a.m. ET, was moderated by officials from the national office of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Coral Ridge’s affiliated denomination, and concluded with a formal balloted vote.
Though Tchividjian did not attend the congregational meeting, the rising Christian leader warned the congregation during his sermon for an earlier service against choosing to honor one man instead of choosing to honor God.
He reiterated the sentiment in a statement following Sunday’s vote, saying that he understands that change is difficult for any institution and “ especially difficult for a church which has known only one pastor in its 50-year history.”
However, Tchividjian pointed out, “Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church is not my church, and it wasn’t Dr. Kennedy’s church.”
“It’s God’s church and I want to honor Him and carry on the legacy of Jesus above anything or anyone else,” Tchividjian added.
The late Dr. D. James Kennedy, who founded Coral Ridge Church in 1960, was considered by some evangelicals as one of the Church's "truly significant figures.” The conservative pastor and broadcaster had built a Christian media empire with his radio and television ministry, which eventually came to reaches more than 3 million people. He also wrote more than 65 books, was inducted into the National Religious Broadcasters' Hall of Fame, and developed the "Evangelism Explosion" ("EE") method of evangelism.
Since Kennedy's retirement in August 2007 and his death the following month, Coral Ridge had been in search of a new senior pastor to lead the more-than-2,200-member church.
The church's Pulpit Nominating Committee (PNC) eventually narrowed the list of more than 150 candidates down to Tchividjian, who, coincidentally, had attended Coral Ridge as a young man before straying from the path of faith at the age of 16 and returning again at the age of 21.
After a monthslong process that included careful consideration of Tchividjian’s request for a church merger, Tchividjian was installed as Coral Ridge’s senior minister during a special ceremony on Easter Sunday.
Since then, the church has reportedly experienced growth "in virtually every standard of measurement," including weekly attendance, financial offerings and new members. During the past six months, 300 new members have been added to the congregation and 192 people have registered for the next new members class, making it the largest new members class in the church’s 50-year history. In the past year, church attendance has also reportedly doubled.
In an opinion piece that appeared in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Tchividjian said regardless of how Sunday’s vote turned out, he was looking forward to meeting and serving more and more people in the months and years ahead.
“In the meantime, however, please bear with us as we grow and change together,” he added.
In addition to being the founder of New City Church, Tchividjian is also author of a number of books, including his latest book, Unfashionable.
Tchividjian’s mother, “Gigi’ Graham Tchividjian, is the eldest daughter of famed evangelist Billy Graham.

KKIM NEWS ALERT

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From Onenews.com

Three Republican lawmakers have warned a gathering of conservative activists in Washington, DC, there will be disastrous fallout if the House healthcare bill is signed into law.

Representatives Michele Bachmann (R-Minnesota), Tom Price (R-Georgia), and Chris Smith (R-New Jersey) took part in a national healthcare town hall meeting at the Values Voter Summit on Friday. Bachmann said 85 percent of Americans are currently happy with their healthcare coverage, but that H.R. 3200 -- the bill causing most of the stir in the current debate on healthcare reform -- would destroy what is working for that percentage to pay for the remaining 15 percent who either lack coverage or are unsatisfied with their current plan.

To buttress her opposition to a government takeover of healthcare, the Republican lawmaker cited research from Arizona State University showing that since corporate bailouts began last year, 30 percent of private business profits are owned by the government. According to Bachmann, before the inception of "bailout nation," all of private business profits were private.

Additionally, she noted that on Thursday the House voted to enact another "government takeover" by doing away with private lending for student loans.

On another note, Congressman Smith told the audience that the public health insurance option would lead to the greatest expansion of abortion since Roe v. Wade, and praised his pro-life colleague Bart Stupak (D-Michigan) for urging Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) to exclude taxpayer funding of abortion from the House legislation. Smith called Stupak's effort to get abortion funding removed from the bill "valiant, brave and courageous."

Stupak, along with Joe Pitts (R-Pennsylvania), offered an amendment in the House Energy and Commerce Committee that would have prohibited funds in the bill from paying for health plans that covered abortion. When committee chairman Henry Waxman (D-California) realized the vote would narrowly pass, he voted "yes" on the amendment. Under committee rules, Waxman's "yes" vote gave him the ability to bring the amendment up for a second vote.

Shortly afterwards, he succeeded in convincing "Blue Dog" Democrat Bart Gordon (D-Tennessee) to flip his original "yes" vote to "no," and the amendment was killed. Congressman Price, chairman of the Republican Study Committee, told the Values Voter town hall yesterday that "Blue Dogs" like Gordon and Stupak have an opportunity to "show backbone" and derail government-run healthcare because Republicans are united against it.

However, Price cautioned that "at every turn" of the healthcare debate thus far "hopes have been dashed" by wavering Blue Dogs, all of whom voted for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - The Florida megachurch founded by the late evangelical leader D. James Kennedy will vote Sunday on whether to dismiss his recently chosen successor.

The Rev. Tullian Tchividjian, a grandson of evangelist Billy Graham, was elected six months ago to become pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale.

But six church members unhappy with Tchividjian's leadership, including Kennedy's daughter, gathered about 350 signatures, far more than the 100 needed to call Sunday's congregational meeting.

Under the leadership of Kennedy, who died in 2007, Coral Ridge was a strong conservative voice on social issues like homosexuality and abortion. The much younger Tchividjian has brought a less formal style to the church and has rejected politics as the most important way to change the country.

From startribune.com

WASHINGTON – Minn.Gov. Tim Pawlenty finished third in a straw poll of potential GOP presidential contenders at a conservative conference in Washington Saturday, receiving only one vote less than second place finisher Mitt Romney.

The poll was one of the first tests of Pawlenty’s impact nationally as he continues to spread his message ahead of a possible presidential run in 2012. He received 73 – or 12 percent – of the 597 votes cast at the Values Voters Summit, hosted by the conservative Family Research Council.

Mike Huckabee was the overwhelming winner with 170 votes.

Pawlenty placed behind Romney, who had 74 votes, and just ahead of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin with 72 and Rep. Mike Pence, R-Ind., with 71.

“What this tells me is that those candidates that are articulating the values that are represented in this room here are still jockeying for position,” said Tony Perkins, president of the FRC.

When he spoke to the conference on Friday night, Pawlenty brought a room of about 2,000 people to its feet with applause several times in a speech packed with socially conservative rhetoric and criticism of the Obama administration.

Earlier in the day, however, about a dozen people interviewed leaving the straw poll all said Pawlenty was not their top choice. Many said he has name recognition but hasn’t adequately conveyed his views and platform.

Eben Conner from Maryland, a supporter of Mike Huckabee, said as he left the poll that Pawlenty could be his No. 2 choice because the governor supports limited government and opposes abortion and gay marriage.

“I’ve heard some of him, but not enough,” Conner said.

Other finishers included former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (40), Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (28), former Senator Rick Santorum (15) and Rep. Ron Paul (13).

Weekend Cup of Apple Cider KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Fall is here.......Cooler temps.......snow in the mountains in Northern New Mexico..........and DIXON APPLES!!!

From KKIM's Frank Haley..........

PEÃ'A BLANCA — It's time for the yearly pilgrimage to that off-the-beaten-path, northern New Mexico piece of Earth with claims of being a "rare" spot.
Correct, The Dixon's Apples orchard opens its sales to the public today at 8 a.m. sharp, which is sure to mean long lines of not just apple lovers, but lovers of these apples in particular.
"It's a bountiful crop this year," said Becky Mullane, who owns the business with Jim, her husband. "Because of the size of the crop, our harvest time will last probably two to four weeks this year."
Mullane said this is as large a crop as they've had at the 50-acre orchard since before the drought that started in 1996 and they started losing some old trees.
The orchard's famed Champagne variety along with the Red Delicious will be available come today. The Sparkling Burgundy, another of the orchard's signature apples, and the Red Rome should be available maybe late next week or the following week of Sept. 27th.
Because of this year's big crop, buyers don't have to be afraid of missing out if they don't arrive immediately.
It was Fred Dixon, who passed away this summer, who created the enterprise.
"He would be so happy to see this kind of a crop," said Mullane, Dixon's granddaughter. "He left us with a good one."

We're to walk worthy of the Lord. Col. 1:10 urges us to "walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him."

We're to walk as Jesus walked. First John 2:6 says, "He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked."

We're to walk worthy of our vocation. Eph 4:1 tells us that we have been given a new vocation, a new assignment, as God's people. We're to walk, therefore, worthy of the calling by which we have been called.

WOW! Just about 4,000 folks at last nights Casting Crowns Concert! Got to see a lot of KKIM supporters! PRAISE GOD!

We have this prayer need...........

Dewey,

can you please include this in your daily cup and prayer list... thank you... there two sons wrestle with Matthew...

Thank you.

Joe Rowe

Hello everyone,
I do hope that I am finding everyone in good spirits and busy with their daily crazy schedules. I am writing today in hopes that people on my email list will in turn forward this email to individuals in their address books getting the word out for Pedro and Angelica Aranda.
Pedro Aranda and his family have been and part of and contributed to the South Valley Community for over 8 years. Whether it be with their two sons (Isaac and Adrian) or simply giving back to the community by volunteering on the football field or the wrestling room. It is with a heavy heart that I mention Angelicas battle with Cancer and the impact that the family faces as a result. The Aranda Family is working tirelessly to keep sprits high and emotions in tact as they help Angelica with her battle, however, in keeping their focus on Angelica, Financially the burden is to deep. That is where the community comes in.
Mrs. Sanchez has put in place a Car Wash benefiting the Aranda Family. The Car Wash is scheduled for Sunday, September 27th. It will begin at 12:00 p.m at Checkers Auto Parts on Bridge and 5 Points. In addition to the Car Wash, Water and Burritos will be sold as well.
Please do you best to attend this Fundraiser and help this family who has given so much back to this community. Whether you are a South Valley resident or not, you generosity will not go unnoticed.
Best Regards
Cynthia Gallegos

P.S. Don't forget to forward this e-mail to your friends and family.

Let us also pray on this.......It broke my heart when I was on the air last night that Mayor Chavez announced his support for gay marriage........

Appearing on KKIM's New Mexico News and Views last night Gwyneth Doland Editor of the New Mexico Independent one of the hosts of the Mayor's debates Wed night said all three candidates were asked if they support gay marriage and Mayor Martin Chavez said yes, Richard Romero said yes, only Richard Berry said no. According to Doland this is the first time the Mayor has stated that he is for gay marriage.

And the misinformation keeps coming out of the White House........

President Obama is drawing more heat from lst week’s big speech to congress to promote his massive health care plan. The President said his nationalized health care plan would not sue our tax money to pay for abortions, but the president of the Indiana Right to Life committee says Obama is being “completely untruthful”. Mike Fichter says many people have looked at HR 3200, particularly with the so-called Capps amendment, have clearly said “federally-required abortion coverage and tax subsidies will be part of the plan. Right to Life officials are disturbed that the White House is trying to muddy the waters and confuse people when it’s clear from the language in the health care bill that our federal tax dollars will be used to cover abortion on demand for any reason. Contact your congressmen and tell them you opposed HR 3200.

Let us pray on these matters

God understands our prayers even when we can’t find the words to say them.

Romans 8:26 In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

Thanks for sharing that Pastor Leonard!

I have said for years that the Church does not talk enough of death...........here are a couple of readings for you.......

The Heart

"Tomorrow morning," the surgeon began,
"I'll open up your heart..."

"You'll find Jesus there," the boy interrupted.

The surgeon looked up, annoyed "I'll cut your heart open," he continued, to see how much damage has been done..."

"But when you open up my heart, you'll find Jesus in there," said the boy.

The surgeon looked to the parents, who
Sat quietly. "When I see how much damage has been done, I'll sew your heart and chest back up, and I'll plan what to do next."

"But you'll find Jesus in my heart. The Bible says He lives there. The hymns all say He lives there. You'll find Him in my heart."

The surgeon had had enough. "I'll tell you what I'll find in your heart. I'll find damaged muscle, low blood supply, and weakened vessels. And I'll find out if I can make you well."

"You'll find Jesus there too. He lives there."

The surgeon left.

The surgeon sat in his office, recording his notes from the surgery,"...damaged aorta, damaged pulmonary vein, widespread muscle degeneration.
No hope for transplant, no hope for cure. Therapy:
painkillers and bed rest. Prognosis: here he paused, "death within one year...”

He stopped the recorder, but there was more to be said. "Why?" he asked aloud.
"Why did You do this? You've put him here; You've put him in this pain; and You've cursed him to an early death. Why?"

The Lord answered and said, "The boy, my lamb, was not meant for your flock for long, for he is a part of My flock, and will forever be.
Here, in My flock, he will feel no pain, and will be comforted as you cannot imagine.

His parents will one day join him here,
and they will know peace, and
My flock will continue to grow...”

The surgeon's tears were hot, but his anger was hotter. "You created that boy, and You created that heart. He'll be dead in months. Why?"

The Lord answered, "The boy, My lamb, shall return to My flock, for He has done his duty: I did not put My lamb with your flock to lose him, but to retrieve another lost lamb."
The surgeon wept... The surgeon sat beside the boy's bed; the boy's parents sat across from him. The boy awoke and whispered, "Did you cut open my heart?"

"Yes," said the surgeon.
"What did you find?" asked the boy.

"I found Jesus there," said the surgeon.

You Can Be Confident About the Future
by Rick Warren
"And I will live in the house of the Lord forever" (Psalms 23:1-6 NLT).

How long is forever going to last? Forever! Some day your body is going to die, but you aren't! Your body is going to end, but that's not going to be the end of you. You're going to live forever in one of two places—heaven or hell. They’re both real places. You will spend eternity in heaven or hell. Your body is going to die, but you're not going to die. We were made to last forever.

Why should Christians be the most confident people about the future?

"Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. . . . We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:6,8 NIV).

Death, for Christians, is a transfer, a promotion. It's on to better things; no more problems. You're not ready to live until you're ready to die. You don't know how to live until you're ready to die. Only a fool would go all through life, totally unprepared for something that everybody knows is inevitable.

You're going to die—someday. If you've accepted Christ, then you're going to go to heaven. You'll be released from pain, from sorrow, from suffering, from depression, from fear: "He'll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good—tears gone, crying gone, pain gone—all the first order of things gone" (Revelation 21:4, MSG).

Let us pray............

Dear Lord, We humbly pray to You to arouse within believers a sense of calling to pray for the Ministers of the Gospel in the spirit of Faith. In Jesus name, AMEN!

Let us be the SALTand LIGHT CUP! KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

I PRAISE GOD and give HIM thanks for all what HE is doing with KKIM and the CUP!!

It is right to BOAST in the LORD!

To God's people: Don't let what you may call the little things in life erode, as that is how you lose your foundation in Christ.

Dr. Larry Bates is a mentor of mine and when I first meant Larry, we were talking about Radio, news and information....he really stressed to me in all we do, to be the salt and light of the world, just as God instructs.

As many of you know I am from Windom, Minnesota and I have a special love for Windom. It was a great place to grow up and gave me a solid foundation of values. I had so many good role models, that is so important for our Children. My Dad and Mom, Grandpa and Grandma's all grew up in Windom. My Brother Dave still lives there, I have many friends in Windom. The Lord has told me to stand for the TRUTH...stand for HIS Children. So when I read what was going on with Fire Chief Dan Fossing I went into prayer and asked the Lord what HE wanted me to do. I worked the phones and sent letters to http://windomnews.com I knew this story would become National News, and it has, both on National Radio and in print media all over the USA. Taking Dan and his family thru the mud, City officials did, to a 21 year Vet of the Fire Dept. with a spotless record because some EGO maniac's (EGO stands for Edging God out) at City Hall didn't like the fact that this Fire Chief drove a Fire Truck by a Church on a regular maintenance run and stopped at the Church for a wedding picture. Anger can destroy, and this issue has destroyed a lot in Windom. I am hearing from many on this. It is just plain crazy. Dan has been suspended and ordered to apologize. The Mayor, who is hiding,(Won't talk to me) the head of the Personal Committee is filled with anger, The City manager who apparently runs Windom now is... is....well I don't know where he is at in his life. There is one thing that would solve this and prevent these things.....It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In the mean time when Spiritual Warfare is going on we need to stand FIRM and stand with God's Children. We as the Church cannot let wrong's be done to others! I will do whatever God instructs me to do for others. Even if it is thousands of miles away. Funny thing many Fire Chief's from all over have come forward to share that they use their Fire Trucks on Wedding Days to haul the Bride and groom around Town with sirens blasting away in celebration of this special day....while in Windom they try to fire the Chief for the same.

If the Church will not speak out who will?

I just heard from a former resident of Windom, Roger Vaughan, who used to have my Dad, Wally as his bus driver, in an earlier email yesterday he shares his fondness for my Dad, for that I thank you Roger, God Bless. he is a relative of Fire Chief Fossing.
Dewey, Should have known you were a man of God. That’s why I was prompted to contact a total stranger! Checked out your websites. Awesome. May God continue to bless you and your work. We too have been praying for Dan, Pam and family, and appreciate your putting them on your Daily Cup site. We attend Sun Valley Community Church here in Gilbert,Az. Check out Scott Ridout’s and Chad Moore’s sermons on the website. They bring super messages every Sunday. Thanks again for your response, it was good to meet you online and learn of your passion and mission for the Lord.

We have this prayer need from Pastor Jim Montoya Los Lunas, NM Church of God.....

Please join me in praying for Brother Joseph Lopez who has suffered
another stroke. He is at the Socorro Hospital.
Joseph had been staying at Assisted Living in Alb. and ministered in
the middle of the night to druggies, prostitutes and homeless. He
passed out bibles, and led many to the Lord Jesus and baptized them.
He had a miraculous conversion 8 years ago when he had his first
stroke. He was an atheist and hated the things of God.
He was unconscious for weeks but had a supernatural encounter with
Jesus Christ. He was not expected to live but regained consciousness a
believer.
He now proclaims the gospel to all people.
Joe was my classmate both at Socorr High School and NMSU.
In 1963 & 64 he was the Golf Amateur National Left Hand Champion.
Please pray for a supernatural recovery.
Blessings

For we are not ignorant of his (Satan's) devices. 2 Cor. 2:11

Stay Alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him 1 Peter 5:8-9

Satan is for real.......even thou a recent poll of Christians found many do not believe it........

One of Satan's oldest tricks is to confuse our values so that good appears to be evil, and evil appears as good. He is the deceiver, and his deadliest tools often appear to be innocent pleasures. The Bible tells us to "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" Eph 6:11

Where do we find the needed wisdom to spot Satan's ploys? Only a close walk with God, a deep study of Scripture, and an intense prayer life will supply the special discernment to see through the devices.

Ask God for wisdom. Ask Him to guard your mind, your mouth, and your morals. Ask Him to open your eyes and to deliver you from evil. And to keep your armor on!

From David Jeremiah heard weekday mornings on KKIM at 5:05am

Last night we had an AWESOME guest on NM News and Views talking about Health care.....You really missed a lot of solid info if you were not listening. Here's a run down by Pastor Mark Tross.......

NEWS MAKER OF THE DAY:

Dr. Brian Jellison from Santa Fe joined us this afternoon to talk about the Physician's Townhall Meeting he organized to talk about the clear and present dangers of the Obama Health Care Plan. Sure, you think you're hearing ALL about this one, but if you weren't listening to this interview today, you haven't heard The Truth! Did you know that the AMA only represents 20% of Physicians here in the US? How come we're not hearing from the other 80%? Well, today you heard from one of them and the comments made were disturbing at best. When Dewey asked Dr. Jellison if the proposed health care bill would help or hurt, plain and simple, he said it would definitely do more damage than good. Are there public options? YES! Who benefits? Lawyers, Legislators and who knows who else. Will an 8% payroll tax help or hurt small business in today's economy? You don't have to be an economics major to figure out the answer to that question. What about the predicted 10% unemployment rate coming in 2010? Some of Dr. Jellison's recommendations: "Equalize the tax laws for ALL Americans, look into the way auto insurance works so well for most and apply that to health insurance companies and definitely do not follow the 1918 Soviet Union Model for Cradle to Grave Health Care here in the good old USA!" He suggests we follow many of the ideas put forth by the Heritage Foundation at http://heritage.org . You don't have to be a genius to see that Medicare is nearly broke. The Good Dr. confirmed that the United States does have the absolute best health care system on the planet, although we're listed for the worst infant mortality rate, mostly because other countries do not count premature babies, as we do, so don't let the numbers fool you. Thanks to Dr. Brian Jellison of Santa Fe for bringing us such vital information and for Jill Norton from the Traditional Values Action Committee for sending him our way.

Be the Salt and Light today!

I was preparing to go cash a paycheck when I realized my husband, Mark, hadn't signed it. So I sent four-year-old Chelsea upstairs to "get Daddy's name on the back of it." She came back, handed it to me, and said, "I knew his name so I did it myself." On the back of the check, she had printed, "D-A-D."

Dr. Deb let's us know what is happening on her radio show this Saturday at 8:05am.......

Hi, Dewey,

Here is the information about this Saturday's show.

A couple of months ago, Pastor Mark Scales from Heights Christian Church was my guest the day before he and a group of young people headed out to the mission field in South America. The trip was everything and more than expected. Pastor Mark and three young people who were part of the group will join me in the studio to tell us what it means to leave the comforts of home and spend time with people of another culture. We will hear the impact of this mission effort and understand how important it is for a young person to have this experience in their lives right at the age where they are making personal decisions about their lives in Christ. We will be blessed with their stories.

In obedience to Him,

Dr. Deb

Prayer/News/Praise Cup KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

There are two events that are going to take place on our Nations's Capitol this month that need our prayer. Two news items that need our prayers dealing with the Chinese flag flying over our Capitol and Muslims marching on Washington DC to pray.God tells us that we are to worship no other God's but Him. I have to pinch myself almost everyday as I sometimes cannot believe this is the United States that I was raised in. Oh Lord, what is happening to the Country You founded? Where have your people gone?

"This Country is in the worst shape, Spiritually wise, ever, in my almost 94 years." Joe Moede 93 yrs of age, 94 in Dec. Born in Windom, Minn. when Woodrow Wilson was President, lived through the Depression, WW I, WW II, Born in 1915. Talk to your elders you can learn much!

Stay Alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him. 1 Peter 5:8-9

First this.......

WE also have a PRAISE note from Sam.......Let me share this with you first as we have been praying on this........

Dearest Dewey and Sharon,
Our Lord has heard our prayers with my husband. He is still drinking, but has cut down. I Know the Lord is working on his heart.
We awoke to an amazing argument yesterday. It was so intense that it litterally made me sick. I had a fever most of the morning. BUT, threw that argument ALOT of truth came out.
He has so much faith in his "Money" and that is false faith, we talked alot about that. And many other things. And we came to a good understanding. We ended that conversation with laughter, which is terrific.
I praise our Lord this day for that conversation filled with Gods Love. It started out very negative and was turned to the good.
Thank you so much for your prayers Dewey. And whoever else you have confided in concerning me. I deeply know that NOW, my husband will have to make a decision. I pray it is one FOR the Lord. If he cannot make that one, he will leave me. It is now on his shoulders. We shall see what comes. sincerely, sam

We are here for you Sam. May your husband's heart continue to soften toward the Lord. At the end of this posting we have another Praise report from International Prayer Council Member John Robb.

NM NEWS & VIEWS FOR MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2009

Chinese flag to flutter over Ellipse in D.C.
White House confirms event near president's residence:

The White House has confirmed that the flag of Communist China will flutter over the lawn of the Ellipse, the public area adjacent to the president's residence, later this month in a ceremony that is to recognize the 60th anniversary of the regime.

WND reported last week on the plans announced by several English-language Chinese media outlets to raise the flag over the south lawn.

The White House' confirmation said the event is to be Sept. 20 over the adjacent Ellipse. The Fox News report carrying the word from the administration said the event will be on the other side of E Street from the White House.

The distinction was lost to some participating in a forum page on the Fox website.

"This is an outrage. So now the White House says the Ellipse lawn is no longer a part of the White House? … It's actually owned by the national forest service. Wow! That made me feel so much better. At first I thought they sold the White House lawn to the Chinese already," wrote one.

"Don't believe a flag belonging to a Communist nation should ever be flown in this country, at the White House or anywhere else," said a second. And a third added. "Which communists should we believe, OURS or theirs???"

Columnist Chuck Baldwin, while noting the report over the Ellipse location rather than the formal south lawn, said the idea of a Communist Chinese flag flying at the White House "challenges my vocabulary.

"Words such as UNBELIEVABLE, UNREAL, HORRIFIC, OBSCENE, even TRAITOROUS quickly come to mind," he wrote in a column. "Remember, the communist leaders of Mao's China are not called the 'Butchers of Beijing' for nothing. Since seizing power in 1949, it is estimated that the communist government in China has murdered more than 50 million people (some reports say the number is over 70 million)."

He warned of the dangers of forgetting past confrontations.

"Does the name Chosin Reservoir mean anything to anyone? Obviously, the name doesn't mean anything to President Barack Obama. However, that name means much to the tens of thousands of American families who lost husbands, sons, and fathers there," he wrote.

Chosin was a Korean conflict confrontation in which 60,000 troops from China crossed into North Korea to attack American troops at the reservoir. More than 4,000 Americans died.

The Global Times English-language edition had reported that Xiao Shuigen, secretary of the Union of Chinese American Professional Organizations, discussed the flag ceremony.

"The ceremony has gotten official approval," he told the news agency.

"It was always my dream to raise a Chinese flag in the center of Washington, D.C.," Chen Ronghua, chief of the U.S.-Fujian Association, told the newspaper. "This year, my motherland's 60th birthday, is the perfect time for it."

According to China Daily, Chinese associations in the United States applied to have a ceremony.

WND's original report cited Obama's previous encounters with flag troubles. It was Obama's official campaign blogger who had a Communist Party flag in his Harvard apartment.

Such emblems also were an issue during Obama's presidential campaign when a Houston Fox TV affiliate captured images of a volunteer in an Obama campaign office working in front of a flag featuring the image of Che Guevara, the South American revolutionary who became Fidel Castro's executioner after the communist takeover in Cuba.

At that time, the Obama campaign issued a statement calling the flag "inappropriate" and noting that the office where it was displayed was funded by "volunteers" and was not the official campaign headquarters.

However, it was Sam Graham-Felsen, a journalist-on-leave from The Nation, who joined Obama for America in 2007 and worked as the official blogger. He, according to a 2003 article in the Harvard Crimson, adorned one corner of his shared student apartment with "a Communist Party flag ... bought on their trip to Russia the summer after sophomore year."

The coming flag event was condemned on the forums page on Fox News commentator Sean Hannity's website.

"People could understand if there was a Chinese visitor at the White House and the Red flag was placed on the stage behind the speakers, but to hoist the commie pinko flag in 'honor' of the founding of the People's Republic of China is absurd," the forum participant said. "This only goes to prove the Obama administration is out-of-touch with the American people."

William Gheen, chief of Americans for Legal Immigration, the pre-eminent organization battling against illegal immigration, said it's the message that is sent to the world that will be significant.

"Our concern is that sovereign wealth funds, like the Chinese, now control the executive branch more than the American people," he said. "China is not our friend. China is our enemy. Our enemy is coming and raising their own flag in a type of proclamation.

"I expect the Chinese media will make a big thing of it," he said, saying something like, "'Look how strong and powerful China is, raising our flag on the White House.'"

He said it conveys the same message as if Old Glory would be raised on the property of the Kremlin.

A spokesman for the American Legion told WND that if the proper protocols are followed, there should be no issue with the actual display of a Chinese flag, especially since diplomatic visits routinely include the display of foreign flags.

Red Flag To Fly Over White House:
Chuck Baldwin

Lest anyone doubt the communist leanings of President Barack Obama, look no further than to his decision to hoist the Red Chinese flag (for the first time in history) over the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, September 20.

According to China Daily, “Chinese associations in the United States had applied to hold a ceremony in front of the US President’s residence to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC [People's Republic of China] . . .

“More than 1,000 people will attend the ceremony and the performances held after it, according to Zhao Luqun, who will direct the performances.

“Zhao said the performances will demonstrate the friendship, magnanimous spirit and kindness of modern Chinese people.”

Trying to find words to describe the extreme offensiveness of flying the Communist Chinese flag over the White House challenges my vocabulary. Words such as UNBELIEVABLE, UNREAL, HORRIFIC, OBSCENE, even TRAITOROUS quickly come to mind. Maybe Obama really is the Manchurian Candidate.

Remember, the communist leaders of Mao’s China are not called the “Butchers of Beijing” for nothing. Since seizing power in 1949, it is estimated that the communist government in China has murdered more than 50 million people (some reports say the number is over 70 million). As many as 3 million were killed in Mao’s initial revolution.

The historical record of Mao’s murderous march to power staggers the imagination. According to Chinese historian Jung Chang, from 1958-1961, 38 million Chinese people were starved or worked to death, and 27 million died in Laogai death camps through 1976. The Weekly Standard quotes Chinese freedom fighter Harry Wu as saying that 15 million died in China’s labor camps through 1997. According to Agence France Presse, as many as 5 million were killed in rural purges from 1946-1949, and 1 million were killed in urban purges through 1957.

Then there is Tiananmen Square in 1989, when the Communist Chinese army murdered more than 2,000 college students. The number first reported by Chinese officials was 2,600, but then was quickly retracted. Early American estimates put the number at more than 3,000. The true number of deaths will likely never be known.

But let’s bring the discussion closer to home. Does the name Chosin Reservoir mean anything to anyone? Obviously, the name doesn’t mean anything to President Barack Obama. However, that name means much to the tens of thousands of American families who lost husbands, sons, and fathers there.

By mid-1950, the Korean conflict was all but over. U.S. Army and Marine forces had handily defeated the North Korean army. It looked realistic that our fighting men would be home by Christmas. But from October of that year, more than 60,000 communist troops from China crossed the border into North Korea. During the next two months, the invading communist forces killed more than 4,000 American troops. Of course, China’s involvement in the conflict ensured a long, protracted war that resulted in the deaths of more than 50,000 brave Americans. And, of course, don’t forget that Communist China also helped the Communist North Vietnamese kill more than 50,000 U.S. soldiers and Marines.

Now President Barack Obama is going to hoist the Communist Chinese flag above the White House to “celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of PRC.”

This is the same PRC that murdered 50-70 million of its own people. This is the same PRC that murdered thousands of Chinese students at Tiananmen Square. This is the same PRC that sent tens of thousands of troops to kill American soldiers and Marines in North Korea and Vietnam. This is the same PRC that yet today persecutes, imprisons, tortures, and kills Christians, Buddhists, and other people of faith. This is the PRC that still operates torture chambers, labor camps, and death squads. This is the same PRC that demands that Chinese families have no more than one child: meaning death to children where there is already a sibling present in the home. This is the same PRC that Obama wants to “celebrate” by flying its flag above the White House.

Why is the mainstream press not all over this story? Where is the outrage by veterans’ organizations (especially Korean War veterans)? Where is the national VFW? Where is the American Legion? Where is John Murtha? Where is John Kerry? Where is John McCain?

Perhaps one blogger summed it up the best. He said, “It can now be official–leave the [Chinese] flag there.” His point is well taken.

China already owns more U.S. debt than any other entity. America’s politicians from both parties have superintended over the outsourcing of manufacturing jobs and factories to (mostly) China. America’s business elite at the Chamber of Commerce has willingly traded U.S. business interests to China at unprecedented and dangerous levels. Major banking institutions have enthusiastically orchestrated the commercial and financial buildup of Communist China. America’s military and political leadership have even helped augment Red China’s military apparatus.

“Made in China” labels appear on almost everything we buy today; perhaps it is appropriate that the Red flag flies over the White House. While we’re at it, let’s hoist the Red flag over the newsrooms of many of America’s newspapers; the headquarters of ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN; most of the political science classrooms at America’s major colleges and universities; many of our mainline “Christian” denominations; the boardrooms of many major U.S. corporations; and also over many of the smoke-filled parlors of Big Labor. In the end, they all seem to be colored a pale shade of red these days.

A DAY OF ISLAMIC UNITY...

“For all that has been, THANKS. For all that will be, YES!”
- Dag Hammarskjold, UN Secretary General, 1953-61

Dear Friends,
How do I describe what the Lord did during the UN Prayer Initiative last week? Over 600, most international prayer leaders and intercessors plus New York and US prayer and ministry leaders, UN ambassadors and staff as well as children and youth from an possibly 100 plus countries took part in all or part of the initiative, including a day inside the UN, prayer walks at Ground Zero and Wall Street as well as a round Manhattan prayer cruise. The presence and anointing of the Spirit of the Lord was so strong and enveloping that many others and I felt His peace and confidence throughout. In spite of some significant challenges to the success of the initiative at the beginning, I felt as though I was resting with Jesus in the boat on the storm-tossed sea. No doubt this had much to do with your prayer support. Thanks so much for praying with us. I believe it was truly an Ephesians 3:20 experience that will bear rich fruits in many dimensions and individual lives for the extension of His Kingdom within the UN as well as the nations and cities that were represented. Our theme was from Habakkuk 2:14, “for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” We certainly experienced a bit of this knowledge of His glory together as we prayed with marvelous unity and powerful authority.

Tomorrow, September 15, the UN General Assembly opens for the coming term. It will be a pivotal time for this influential institution as a new president of the GA is put into position. He will be the ambassador from Libya and his election reflects the growing influence of the many Muslim nations in this world body. Also, Iran’s Ahmadinejad and Libya’s Kadhafi will be there to address the ambassadors and visiting political leaders. Please pray that in spite of the burgeoning influence of Islam, the occult activity of the Lucis Trust (formerly known as the Lucifer Trust), as well as many other ideologies and agendas operating, that Jesus Christ will be exalted as Lord of the nations and that the ambassadors and participating world leaders will come to know and revere Him. Pray that a culture of prayer will grow within the UN, its ambassadors and staff and that what was begun in such an anointed and beautiful way will continue to blossom and develop in ways that go far beyond what we can imagine.

Some Christian ministries that are cooperating to reach the ambassadors for Christ will host them for an annual prayer breakfast tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. Please pray that the ambassadors will clear their schedule and go and that they will encounter the Lord in a personal and penetrating way.
How should we pray for the General Assembly itself?

That General Assembly elected officials, ambassadors and visiting national political leaders will have God’s wisdom and clarity to effectively deal with these and other complex issues before them.
That they will be conscious of their need to do what is right before God and in the best interests of humanity rather than being bound by political correctness or pleasing special interests.
That the peacekeeping and humanitarian operations of the UN will be well-resourced and effective in meeting the huge human needs that already stretch their abilities to cope.
That the Secretary General and his office will be given special help from above to handle the difficult pressures they face and to provide wise leadership to the whole UN.
That UN staff in New York and around the world will increasingly sense their need for God and begin to call on Him in prayer, so that a culture of dependence on God through begins to develop within this institution.

Thanks so, so much for standing with us in continuing prayer for the UN. We as participants of the initiative have agreed to cover the UN and its ambassadors in ongoing prayer for the coming year. Will you join us?

Warm regards in Christ,

John Robb

AWESOME Pastor Jim!

Now let us hear from Pastor Don Kimbro........

Thank you for your prayers. God bless.

Pastor Don

Subject: prayer requests

Dear beloved Don,
Isaiah 9:1-2
Thousands of Christians, all over the world, are praying these days for the Muslims who are fasting their month of Ramadan. According to their faith, this fasting month, is one of their 5 pillars of faith. They believe, beside other things, that if they fast, God would grant them forgiveness of all their past sins. Eph. 2; 8, 9. Violet and I pray, on daily basis for the salvation of Muhammads, Fatimas Ahmads. Khadijas Osamas, A'ishas and A'bduls etc, etc.

Yesterday evening, as I parked my car by our center, I received a long distance call from Sweeden. At the other end was a new MBB young man, he and his family run away from Iraq for their lives they found refuge in one of the evangelical churches in Amman Jordan. After a while they left to Sweeden. The young man got my name and phone number from a friend in Jordan. This family is on fire for Jesus, they are burdened with love to the Muslims, and they want to see them come to Christ. Part of their time, they spend on the computer chatting with Muslims. The young man's sister became a friend with Safa, a Muslim girl from Israel. She is studying in Teaberries, since there is no evangelical Arabic speaking church there, Safa started going to a Catholic one, the priest baptized her with sprinkling water, and he offers her one meal a day. Her family is threatening her, they stopped supporting her, and she is now in a great danger and need, a need for food and other expense, and a need for a family to host her. The MBB young man got my phone through a friend in Jordan, he asked me to help her to help this Israeli Muslim young girl. I promised the guy to visit her today and see how we can help her spiritually and financially.
I made an appointment with the girl to visit her today in Teaberries. Please pray for Safa, that she will be able to see the whole light and be saved, and for Violet and for me as we minister to her. We may suggest for her to move to Haifa, we think she would enjoy the fellowship with our daughters and the rest of the brothers and sisters in the church.
Pray for Safa's safety, for ours and for the salvation of many Muslims especially in their month of fasting.
Please keep praying for Rowan and for her family
Together with you in Jesus service
Philip & Violet Saa'd
Wow! Does God answer quickly or what? Thanks to the pastoral heart of our brother Pastor Philip Saa'd and his wife Violet, Safa is now an MBB (Muslim Background Believer). This is what God is doing in the Middle East. Thank you all for praying. By the way, if anyone of you would like to email Pastor Philip and Violet Saa'd at the Haifa Church please feel free. They would love to hear from you and received your encouragement. God bless.

Let is hear from Pastor Leonard....

"So we tell others about Jesus Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God completely mature in their relationship with Jesus Christ. That's why I work and struggle so hard, depending totally upon Jesus Christ's mighty power that works within me." Colossians 1:28-29 (NLT)

I am praying for you and your families.

Leonard

Let us hear from Pastor Paul Sheppard of Enduring Truth, heard weekdays at 4pm and 9pm on KKIM........

Dear Ministry Partner,

In the midst of your busy week ... I want to encourage you to be a "praiser." Wake up praising God. Go to bed praising God. Drive to work praising God. Throughout each day, find time to give God praise.

Here are seven reasons why we should praise God regularly:

We were created to praise God (1 Pet. 2:9).
God deserves our constant praise (Ps. 113:3).
Praise is the best way to approach God in prayer (Matt. 6:9).
Praise wards off heaviness and despair (Isa. 61:3).
It's the best response to the goodness of God (Ps. 103:2-5).
It's an offering that truly pleases God (Heb. 13:15).
Praise often leads to victory (2 Chron. 20:1-24).
No matter what your circumstance, God is worthy of our praise. What will you praise Him for today?

Yours for the Kingdom,

Pastor Paul Sheppard

Enduring Truth certainly has become a very popular Ministry program on KKIM over the last couple of years! I keep hearing from folks that just love Pastor Paul and his program!

Let us pray.........

Lord we thank you for all the Godly people you send our way......and their messages for You and Your way. We thank you for Pastor Garland Moore who baptized 46 people in his Church for You. Thank You Lord for the opportunity to serve You and Your people. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

9/11 Cup KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

I prayed today to the Lord to say something about 9/11........but last night on NM News and Views Former Congressman and Pastor Bill Redmond had such an insight on 9/11 and the Church. Pastor Mark Tross summarizes Bill comments.......

NEWS MAKER OF THE DAY:

Pastor and former Congressman Bill Redmond from Los Alamos, NM joined us this afternoon to talk about Islam's 15 year manifesto for world domination and how the Muslim mindset has dumbed down Americans since September 11, 2001. WOW, this was an eye opener folks and for radio, that's something to really think about. I hope you didn't miss this one, because as articulate as Bill always is, he was spot on for this conversation. Repeatedly mentioning the church's lack of a Biblical World View and stating that darkness was not meant to take over The Light, but because of our compliancy and lack of Bible knowledge and understanding, we have lost touch with God's reality and found ourselves falling into accepting radical Islam, as just the way it is. Yes, they have a global mandate, but so does The Church of the Living God! Have you ever heard of The Great Commission? Bill mentioned how recently a Muslim Congressman was sworn into office on President Thomas Jefferson's Koran. Was Jefferson a Muslim? Study your American History folks and you'll see that he was trying to find out what to do with the Islamic Nation of his day! Europe has been devastated by the influx of Muslims, with the alarming rate of 2 churches closing every week in England and here in the US, some are calling for Sharia Law to be enacted in "the land of the free and the home of the brave." Where are the women's rights groups and dare I say, Hillary Clinton on this one? Mr. Redmond likens America and the church to "running a marathon without shoes on." Has anybody read Gen. 3 lately? Like the prophet Jeremiah, Bill is blowing the trumpet in our Zion and nobody is listening. Has Babylon fallen? 85% of Americans claim to be Christian, 2% Jewish and just 1% Muslim. How can President Obama say that the US is Muslim Nation? HELLO! IS THERE ANYBODY OUT THERE LISTENING? To my Christian Brothers & Sisters and certainly anybody else who cares enough to know: Buddah & Mohammed are DEAD, but Jesus Is Risen, Just As He Said! When asked by Dewey if 9/11 was at all like Pearl Harbor, Bill gave a resounding YES, as a matter of fact, it was worse. "Islam has been on the march for 1500 years now," Bill Redmond stated and from a Christian perspective we should "Pray for them and Love our enemies." It certainly doesn't look like this ratical Islamic situation is going to just dry up and blow away anytime soon. Like the Arabs & Jews, fighting it out since day 1, we need to get a better understading of "The World We Live In." ALL this talk today reminded me of Henry Kissinger trying to figure out the mindset of the North Vietnamese during the Vietnam War. We have a lot to learn. "Why can't we all just get along and live happily ever after?" some may be asking. One thing for sure about radical Islam that sets them apart from Americans and The Church Today... They Stand For Something! How about YOU? Think about it.

Shalom,

Rev. Mark F. Tross

I pray that you will pray today and also fly the flag of the United States of America.

We have this prayer from Chris and Eric Tomlin for Dan Fossing.........

Abba,

You know exactly what’s going on in Windom and with Dan. We commit the outcome to You, Abba, knowing that justice is Yours. Thank you for your servant, Dan, who has served so faithfully these 20+ years.

L-rd may the plans Dan’s detractors have be stopped in a way that brings You glory and no harm to Dan and his good name. May everyone recognize that You did it. May this bring many to Jesus Christ and reunite the Community.

Thank You for Your promise that Ruach HaKodesh, Your Holy Spirit, has already interceded for what we have not expressed and cannot yet express.

Thank You Abba!

Prayer Need/ Dan Fossing KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

I come to you today for prayer for a Dear friend of mine, Dan Fossing Fire Chief in Windom, Minn. There is an attempt to remove Dan as Chief of my Hometown's Fire Dept. because he drove a Fire Truck to a Church so a fellow Firefighter could have his wedding picture taken with the Fire truck. Dan took the truck out on a regular drive(The Trucks have to be driven once in awhile because this Volunteer Dept in a Town of 4,000 does not use them every week) and stopped at the Church. Someone with a bone to pick with Dan is leading an effort to get him dismissed for doing this. Back home they use the Fire Trucks to haul around Championship sports teams, Santa Claus, etc........and a Volunteer Fireman can't use the Truck in a Wedding Picture?

Common Sense has gone out the window on this one! My Dad and Grandpa served on this Dept for years and things like this would happen once in awhile, one of the few fringe benefits of being a volunteer in a small Town. My Dad and Grandpa are turning over in their graves on this tragic thing happening to Dan. He has served with honor for 21 years and has a spotless record.

Whenever something like this is going on it is usually led by one or two people out of jealousy and power. There was a day in my Hometown, when things like this would not happen.

A man has served his Hometown with honor and sacrifice, being a Fire Chief even in a small Town is demanding, (PS I was also a Volunteer Fireman for 2 years in Indiana) on your family and yourself........and you have to put up with some monkey business from the Town Council and Mayor, and Citizens from time to time........but this......what is happening in Windom, Minnesota to Dan Fossing is all messed up. Nothing good can come of this for Windom.

Many of you who read the CUP are from or live in the Windom area. I encourage you to call the mayor and Council.

As you can tell I still love my Hometown, Dan Fossing was a year ahead of me in High School, My dad and Grandpa served on the Dept.

Please pray for the Lord's will to be done in this matter. Please pray for Windom and Dan Fossing.

This is Spiritual warfare.

SPECIAL STATEMENT FROM DEWEY KKIM/DDC

"Just because the world is dropping it's moral standard's, doesn't mean we drop them, not at all."

"Not even a little bit!"

John MacArthur said that today on Grace to You at 8:30am on KKIM

That is what I needed to hear today after working the story on Gov. Richardson's boating wreck, and also covering the corruption in his office and those around him.

It just seem's that even Christians and so called Christian Politicians are dropping their moral standards.

I talked today to Chuck Bates on IRN/USA Radio network who knows the background of Gov. Richardson dating back to his childhood in Mexico.

We need to pray for Gov. Richardson. He has spent years thinking he is above the law and sound moral standards.

It is the people of New Mexico who are at fault for putting people like the Gov. in office. The People have lowered their moral standards......you get what you vote for.

We are here to bring the truth.

My desk is full of pictures's of kid's that I am known to as, Uncle Dewey.......I do this for them.......so that they can have role models and grow up in a Godly society..most of all I do this for the Lord, as it is the mission He has given me.

I don't care if a person is Republican, Democrat, Green or Independent.......We need to hold all to Godly Standard's.

Don't think for a minute that your Political party is immune from immorality.

To my Republican Friends, You don't own Godly Standards, you need to clean up your act also.

To my Democratic Friends, You need to take sin out of your party........Abortion and same sex marriage.

It is the flesh that eats us away......Let us pray that Gov.. Richardson, and all Leaders of this State and Country and also you and me, will walk closer to Jesus Christ.

I am of God's party.......The people for Jesus Party!

"But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God."

Acts 20:24

KKIM NEWS ALERT

NM NEWS & VIEWS FOR TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2009

THE TRUTH NOBODY ELSE IS TELLING YOU:

In our attempt to bring you the truth as to what happened at Elephant Butte where Gov. Richardson was involved in a boating accident on Saturday, KKIM Mgr. Dewey Moede called the Gov's office and also Chief of Staff Gilbert Gallegos for comment and we received no return phone calls asking if the Gov. was driving the boat or if the Gov. was intoxicated.

Moede was asked by an assistant in the Gov's office why was he calling, nobody else is.

Moede said because we just want the truth.

Moede made many calls on Tuesday.......Gov's Office, Elephant Butte Police, State Police and the office of the Boating Officer for Elephant Butte.

Harold Zuni, Boating Officer for Elephant Butte was able to tell Moede that Gov. Richardfson was not driving the boat, but as far as if there was alcohol on the boat and who was driving, he could not comment and referred us to the Santa Fe office.

No calls from the Gov's office or the Supervisor for The Boating office have been returned.

with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

When Bishop Mizell read that scripture Matthew 28: 18-20 yesterday, God was telling me nothing matters more than that for us all.......With our Personal relationship with Him and turning our lives over to Him and to be here to bring other's to Christ.

Not fancy clothes, buildings, money, vacations, things.....A Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and following the Great Commission. We are here for HIM.

Pray Need KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Sharon and I are getting ready to head to Los Lunas today for 11am Service at Los Lunas Church of God. We will be sharing with Pastor Jim Montoya and Friends. We hope to see you there. Please pray.

“Prayer is the essence of the spiritual life without which all ministry loses its meaning. It is the fulfillment of the great commandment to love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind…To pray is to unite ourselves with Jesus and lift up the whole world through him to God in a cry of forgiveness, reconciliation, healing, and mercy….Most of all, prayer is the way to become and remain part of Jesus’ mission to draw all people to the intimacy of God’s love.” - Henri Nouwen, The Only Necessary Thing: Living a Prayerful Life

We have this prayer need from Nan..........

Hi all,

I'm writing on behalf of a good friend of mine who was diagnosed with

lung cancer two years ago. Some of you have met her and know what

a great friend and host she's been to me through the last 17 years or so

when I've visited Mazatlan and Guadalajara numerous times. Her name

is Victoria Iñigo, and she is an American who has lived in Mexico for

almost forty years. Vickie is a widow with two grown kids, and she met a

wonderful guy shortly before she was diagnosed. Vince has been by her

side throughout her entire treatment and is truly an angel.

I believe that she has received excellent medical care in Guadalajara, but

it appears that there is not much more that her doctors and oncologists

can do for her at this point in time.

My request is that you please add Vickie's name to any prayer list affiliated

with your church, or if you don't attend church, please add her to your own

good thoughts and prayers. Vickie has maintained a very positive and

upbeat attitude throughout her ordeal, but any additional prayers can only

help. Thank you all so much!

Love,

Nan

We are praying now.........over 1,000 folks will be praying!!!

Please pray for our niece Megan and Baby Hayden as Mom, Meg heads back to school

Let us pray for all our Children who are starting school again and many for the first time and also for many who are starting new jobs this fall.

Don't forget KKIM's Labor Day Special..........

KKIM Presents "The Hope of America"

Here is an AWESOME reading........

Jesus Cleanses and Calls
by Jon Walker
"'Woe to me!' I cried. 'I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips . . . and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.' Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal . . . which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, 'See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.' Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" (Isaiah 6:5-8 NIV)

One of the most effective tools the enemy will use to keep you from serving God is convincing you that you've either messed up too much to serve God or that you must clean up your life before you can get God's attention. When these thoughts pop into your head, sniff the air for the scent of sulfur, because they are lies straight from the fires of hell!

God's intention when he convicts us of our sins is not to condemn us; rather his breath of life disperses that satanic smoke the father of lies uses to keep us on the run from God.

If you follow the sequence of Isaiah 6, you'll see how God initiates the process that brings you into his holy presence and purifies you to remain in his presence, and that your new guilt-free, sin-atoned status will compel you and prepare you for the unique mission God sets before you.

Yet God's intention when he convicts us of our sins is not to condemn us; rather his breath of life disperses the "fog of war"—that satanic smoke the father of lies uses to keep us on the run from God.

Isaiah reports that God's fire is a cleansing fire that burns your guilt away and purifies you from sin, sealing within you the work of Jesus Christ. The prophet also suggests God's ultimate purpose for cleansing us is to prepare us for mission: "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!'" (Isaiah 6:8 NIV).

Prior to God taking the initiative to cleanse Isaiah, the prophet felt overwhelmed and unprepared for any mission on God's behalf.

After the cleansing, Isaiah is energized with a desire to serve God

Let us pray..........

O Lord, how we need You this day and everyday. Whatever we have planned this Labor Day weekend is empty and pointless unless You are pleased with it. Please guide us. In the name of Jesus, AMEN

From John Robb Int Prayer Council KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Please share this with your Pastor and Church leaders and Friends.............This is from Our Dear, Dear Friend John Robb of the International Prayer Council. Please be in prayer.....................

Dear Friends,
This weekend kicks off a week of extremely significant events for Christ’s Kingdom. Tomorrow, Sunday, September 6 through the 8th, over 400 from around the world will gather for the international conference on the 4/14 Window, the children and youth between 4 and 14 years old that in that age window are the most receptive to the Gospel. There are approximately 1.2 billion of them and 70% live in that swath of nations known as the 10/40 Window where the greatest material poverty and spiritual lostness is- from Northwest Africa across the Middle East to Central and South Asia. Please pray with us for the following: 1)The Holy Spirit to fill this movement with His Presence and Power. 2)The body of Christ worldwide to make children, ages 4 to 14, a top ministry priority. 3)Leaders gathering in New York to have God’s clear strategy as they plan. 4)There to be authentic unity and effective collaboration among leaders.
As this significant event winds down, the International Prayer Initiative for the United Nations begins on Tuesday, the 8th, with about 400 prayer leaders and intercessors from close to 60 nations flying in to spend four days praying for the UN, the most influential institution on earth. After spending the first day focusing on various key international issues-- such as the international economic situation, governments and politics, women and children, Hollywood and the media, militant religion, unreached peoples, developing new wineskins and using the Internet to establish a global prayer network—we will spend one whole day inside the UN (Thursday) praying with ambassadors and UN officials for the Millennium Development Goals and urgent humanitarian issues with repentance for international sins like human trafficking and the drug trade. Pastor Enoch Adeboye who leads the largest local prayer gatherings on earth (several million in attendance) in his native Nigeria will be our keynote speaker. Then on the 11th, the anniversary of 9/11, we will prayer walk Ground Zero and Wall Street, then climb aboard a round Manhattan island cruise where with the Transform World Global Cities initiative participants, the Awakening America Alliance from across the USA, and New York prayer leaders, we will pray three hours for the needs of New York and other global cities represented as well as for the USA in its hour of growing need.
I am attaching the UN prayer/program guide in case you would like to participate with us from wherever you are. In addition, may I ask you to pray for the following:
For travel mercies for all the participants travelling over the next couple of days towards New York and to have favor with US immigration.
For all the ground transport and logistics, that we will not experience traffic blockages in commuting across the New York metropolis to the UN and other destinations. Time is of the essence, and we need to have special grace for moving such a large number around efficiently.
That the United Nations will be impacted deeply and that a culture of prayer will develop within the institution that is led by ambassadors and other insiders.
For the Lord’s powerful anointing on this initiative, His manifest presence taking us by the hand, showing us how to pray and what should be done at each point in the process. That our speakers, facilitators and chairs of sessions, and indeed all the participants, will be in touch with God in an intimate and responsive way so that we will flow in the river of the Holy Spirit together.
Thanks so, so much for your support in this way. I humbly believe that in the Lord’s hands, this could be one of the most powerful, transformative events in history. Your prayers will help make that possible!
Every blessing to you,
John Robb

The movement of Christians is so strong in China, the American Church can learn something from Chinese Christians! You talk about boldness for Christ!

Bill mentioned that he would like to see me travel with him to China! WOW! And visit where my Dad served in WWII and also visit the Christian Radio stations! Yes they have Christian Radio in China! I did not know that! Bill said he is going to try and make that happen, please pray for the Lord's will! I told Sharon this and she got all excited!

Karen Rowe dropped us this note from North Carolina...........
Dear Dewey,

I caught your show today! It was really good! Loved the final comments from your guest and loved the song too! The applause was really cool too!!!

Just to let you know that and well, anyway, I am blessed to be a part of KKIM and having the capability to listen to so many wonderful hearts for God. Can't tell you how many times I started to write, but then got busy, but I'm listening!

Love,
Karen

Karen is such an encouragement! More and more people are listening to KKIM on the Internet!

One of the new programs we have added at 5:30am weekdays is Farmview.......a program designed to serve the Farming and Ranching Community. It is a 3 minute look at what is important to the Farmer and Rancher. We have a wonderful listenership of Farmers and Ranchers in New Mexico and Southern Colorado.

Kay sent this reply to Gwen's email asking for prayer for depression and anxiety..........

To those burdened with anxiety and/or depression - I've been there many times over the decades! But the Lord is showing me how to escape from these traps and not slide back. Even though not consistently practiced, these behaviors have been working wonderfully for me for several years...
1. I begin my day alone with God, talking to Him as a friend and listening to Him in His Word and in my heart
2. I ask God to give me a grateful heart, and every time I slip and complain I immediately thank Him for what is good, which focuses my attention on how many blessings He's given me!
3. I cut out television newscasts - facts are distorted, opinions are not truth-based and the sense of hopelessness is depressing
4. I mute TV commercials - they build a desire for things I don't need, and if I can't afford them I feel deprived
5. I asked God to alert me to folks who need help I could provide, and I sense His smile when I offer my "cup of cold water" (focusing on myself is the quickest route to depression)
6. When aware of anxiety, I focus on scriptures that build my trust in His power and goodness, memorizing short ones and reflecting on them during the day (like expressing, "I trust you Lord because...")
It is amazing the difference these make in my attitude and how they lift my spirits!

~ Kay

Thank you so much Kay.......Your letter here is a true example of what the Body of Christ should be........helping each other and making ourselves vulnerable to each other. God Bless you!

Please pray for Pastor Larry Moss who had an injection yesterday to help with the extreme pain he is having in his legs and back.

Please pray for Pastor Mark Tross who is fighting a bug since he came back from the funeral of his Dad.

Sharon found this on Aprons! This is very timely since I will be speaking at the Young at Heart gathering tomorrow.......My Grandma and Mom used to wear aprons.......just the word apron brings peaceful, loving thoughts to my mind.........I then I get hungry!!!!

REMEMBER making an apron in Home Ec? Read below:

The History of “APRONS”

I don't think our kids know what an apron is.

The principal use of Grandma's apron was to protect the dress underneath, because she only had a few,it was easier to wash aprons than dresses and they used less material, but along with that, it served as a potholder for removing hot pans from the oven.

It was wonderful for drying children's tears, and on occasion was even used for cleaning out dirty ears.

From the chicken coop, the apron was used for carrying eggs, fussy chicks, and sometimes half-hatched eggs to be finished in the warming oven.

When company came, those aprons were ideal hiding places for shy kids.

And when the weather was cold, grandma wrapped it around her arms.

Those big old aprons wiped many a perspiring brow, bent over the hot wood stove.

Chips and kindling wood were brought into the kitchen in that apron.

From the garden, it carried all sorts of vegetables. After the peas had been shelled, it carried out the hulls.

In the autumn, the apron was used to bring in apples that had fallen from the trees.

When unexpected company drove up the road, it was surprising how much furniture that old apron could dust in a matter of seconds.

When dinner was ready, Grandma walked out onto the porch, waved her apron, and the men knew it was time to come in from the fields to dinner.

It will be a long time before someone invents something that will replace that ' old-time apron' that served so many purposes.

Send this to those who would know (and love) the story about Grandma's aprons.

REMEMBER:

Grandma used to set her hot baked apple pies on the window sill to cool.

Her granddaughters set theirs on the window sill to thaw.

They would go crazy now trying to figure out how many germs were on that apron.

I don't think I ever caught anything from an apron.

WOW! What a wonderful read!

Here is a note from Dr. Deb.........

Here is what I have lined up for this Saturday.

What do 44 million Americans have in common that can lead to a loss of independence, chronic pain, disability or death? It is the silent disease of osteoporosis or bone loss. Many people are undiagnosed and untreated. My guest this week is Dr. E. Michael Lewiecki, MD, Director of the New Mexico Clinical Research and Osteoporosis Center . Dr. Lewiecki will help us understand this debilitating disease and what can be done to manage it. While women are four times more likely than men to develop the disease, men also suffer from osteoporosis. So I invite both women and men to listen in to this informative show.

To get the flu shot or not?.............or Vitamin D?

Here is an interesting point of view from Dr. Allan Miner who is on KKIM Friday's at 3:30.........

Dr. Miner's Weekly Wellness Wisdom

Last week I wrote about the flu vaccines coming out this season and why my family will not be getting one. If you missed that email you can always check them out on our home page, lower left corner, at www.newmexicochiro.com

I do not, however, care to get the flu. So there are two very basic things my family does to protect ourselves.

First, we supplement vitamin D in the winter. Have you ever noticed how most people associate the flu with cold weather? That is an incorrect association.

Most medical explanations for why flu epidemics occur in the winter when it is cold are... people being indoors in close contact, drier air dehydrating mucus and preventing the body from expelling virus particles, the virus lingering longer on exposed surfaces like doorknobs with colder temperatures, to name a few.

However, these things do not explain why flu epidemics occur in the tropics.

Something that better explains why flu epidemics also occur both in warm and cold climates is this: During a flu epidemic, wherever it may be, the atmosphere blocks ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from the Sun. In the temperate zones above latitude 35 degrees North and South, the sun is at a low enough angle in the winter that the ozone layer in the atmosphere absorbs and blocks the short-wavelength (280-315 nanometers) UVB rays. In the tropics during the wet season, thick rain clouds block UVB rays.

Your body uses sunlight to make Vitamin D, and most of us get plenty of that in the summertime, and flu is not an issue. Vitamin D is a major part of having a healthy immune system. Vitamin D has even been shown to effectively guard against many cancers.

So, in the wintertime I recommend you supplement Vitamin D...5000 IU/day, and if you are feeling like your fighting a cold, go up to 10,000 IU.

Secondly, my family gets adjusted every week. Not because we are sick or hurt, but to optimize our immune systems. Your immune system is controlled by your Nerve system, and if there are blockages, your body is not as healthy as it can be. A chiropractic adjustment will optimize the function of your nerve system, which controls every part of your body, including your immune system.

We also know that you get an increase in your white blood cell count after an adjustment, which helps your immune system work better.

So that is it, get adjusted, and supplement Vitamin D, and of course, lay off the sugar. You will stay much healthier this winter. No flu shot necessary!

Let us pray.............

Lord, we give You praise and thanks today and always. Let us grow in Your grace. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

PS Todays CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

I had to share this with you! Shortly after I had a cup with you this morning Pastor Jim Montoya sent this to me and it has me all fired up!!!! I PRAISE GOD that I have over a dozen Pastor's guiding me through my walk with Jesus Christ!

LOOK WHAT JIM SENT!!! Does it not send a charge through you!!!!!
WOW WOW AWESOME!!!! Have a great day in the LORD!!!!

Brother Dewey:

Victor Martinez my son-in-law sent me this verse in regards to the need to return to the basics.

Blessings.

Jim

Jeremiah 6:16

[NIV] This is what the Lord says: “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’

[KJV]Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein].

Thanks.

What is the passage from Ezekiel on the ancient ways?

Hi Jim. Thanks for the answers. I was a little confused about the "open door" you've talked about so much because I thought this was some new thing for today. But the "open door" has been open since the day of Pentecost, as well as the baptism of the Holy Spirit to empower Christians to go through the open door, so it's nothing new. I agree that there needs to be a re-emphasis on this, as many churches/Christians have come up with "better", "new and improved" ways to go through that open door. As it says in Jeremiah, better for us to ask for the "ancient paths" and do it that way. Looking forward to watching you on the program. God bless you!

Victor

Hi Vic:

I guess it got late we didn't visit.

The connection is the Open Door from Revelations 3:7 Letter to the Church of Philadelphia- God has opened a door. And Ezekiel 47 the river that flow from beneathe the threshold of the door of the temple out to the east. A river so deep and wide that you had to swim.

God has opened for us an open door and has given us His Holy Spirit like the Rivers of Living Water John 7:37-38.

The open door to reach the lost of Jesus by the power of the Holy Sprit. He is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh Acts 2:16-18 in order to carryout the Great Commission.

Selah.

Jim

We are making God weep KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Let us pray today for our Country........we continue to push God out.

Vermont's new law allowing same-sex marriage only a minute old, two men tied the knot in a midnight ceremony in Vermont, last night.

Vermont is one of five states now allowing same-sex couples to marry. Massachusetts, Connecticut and Iowa are the others. New Hampshire's law takes effect Jan 1. Will your state be next?

God's word..........

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Gen. 1:27

God joined a man and a women together so that together they would mirror His image.

He called this union marriage.

Their oneness reflects the character and unity of God. Matt 19:4-6 John 17: 22-23

Their oneness is a living picture of this intimate relationship between Jesus Christ and His followers. Eph 5: 22-23

I am stunned by what is happening in many Church's! I am stunned what many Christians are doing to God's word. Many in the Church complain about liberals, our government......But look at what is happening INSIDE the hearts and minds of many people that call themselves Christians.

I am sure God is weeping.

Then we have this nut Baptist Pastor from Tempe Arizona saying on TV that he hopes that the President dies of brain cancer like Ted Kennedy. How awful. Where is the outrage of Christians for comments like this?

No wonder I have some people tell me that they think Christians are nuts!

We are a walking, talking testimony for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hearing from many that they are falling ill to what may be the swine flu. Please pray for Pastor Mark Tross, he is ill BUT DOES NOT have the swine flu........

Hey Dewey,
Heard the program yesterday from bed and all sounded good :) Looks like I'm gonna need another day home to recoup. Keep those healthy prayers coming my way, as I can use all the help I can get!
Blessings,
Mark

Please all, take care of yourself......eat healthy, take your vitamins, I am a firm believer in natural supplements, get your rest. And if you already have health problems and start to come down with the flu see your Doctor right away. The 52 year old lady who died of the swine flu here the other day already had health problems and the swine flu ended up putting her into a coma. So be wise and pray. Take care of your temple.

Just one more thing........Remember Jerry Stewart's wonderful Flag Day and 4th of July radio specials? Well, he has heard from many KKIM listeners so we will be airing his Labor Day Special, Stories and songs about America.........it will air this Saturday at 6pm, Sunday at 7pm and Labor Day at 4:30 in place of NM News and Views.

Let us pray...........

Lord, We pray for all Christians Lord, that they remain strong in Your Word. We pray that we will be wonderful walking, talking testimonials for You. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Answered Prayer KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

From the beginning of the Bible to its conclusion, we see absolute evidence that God answers prayer. Things that we think are impossible, God does when people pray. Yesterday we prayed for NM and her situation.........read this! PRAISE GOD!

Dewey thank you for putting this in this morning. I thought I would give you an update about work. I go in at 6:00am this morning and this person is the book keeper.
She came out to me and asked me who I had called in regards to the incident last Thursday. I told her I had called no one as I had told the Asst. Manager and no one else. I don't tell that serious of a situation to anyone other than management, because it can easily become a huge legal situation. She proceeded to tell me that someone called Human Resources and told them about the incident as she was crying saying the head of Human Resources had called her first thing this morning to tell they were doing an investigation and that it was very likely she would be transferred out of my store, due to what she had done which was not condusive to Vons policies or reputation. I was totally surprised to hear this as I had no idea who called, but found out that a manager is legally required to report any incident where another employee has physically touched or shoved another and embarrass and humiliate that person.
I didn't know that, so actually, I didn't have to go to the Union as it is already being taken care of and I told her that's too bad, but she should have used better judgement and all she had to do was apologize to me and I would have been ok.
Do you think the Lord was st anding next to me? I know he was.
Love you all
NM

Yesterday on NM News and Views Angel Murchison host of, "Destiny Moments" on KKIM Friday's at 3:30 was with us live from Skid Row in LA. Now over 100,000 homeless in LA. Angel was working out of the Dream Center. She also could see smoke from the big fires in the area. What a blessing it has been in getting to know Angel and her heart for the Lord. My thanks to Shona Neff for making that happen. Tonight on NM News and Views at 4:30, Lord willing we will have Janice E Arnold Jones talking about her run for Governor.

Let me share this with you from David Jeremiah..........

The prayer we know as the "The Lord's Prayer" came from the Lord Jesus in direct response to his disciples request: "Lord, teach us to pray." It has always fascinated me that they never asked Jesus to teach them to preach. They never asked Him to teach them to give witness. Perhaps, like us, the disciples were often at a loss when it came to communicating with the Almighty. The Lord's Prayer is the model Jesus designed to show them how to pray, and it has lost none of its power after almost two thousand years.

It is not too much to say that this prayer is at the very heart of who God is and what HE longs for HIS children to be.

Our Father who art in heaven

Hallowed be they name.

Thy Kingdom come.

They will be done,

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.

Amen

Thy Kingdom, Thy power, Thy glory. God has all the glory and all the power and all the majesty, and you and I have all the needs and all the wants and all the poverty. He's got everything; we have nothing. It's wonderful to come with empty hands to the One who is able to give us everything we need. That's what this prayer is all about and what it will teach us if we strive to learn its secrets.

The first to send me an email wins tickets to the Casting Crowns Concert Sept 17th at the Santa Anna Star Center. Be the FIRST!!!! and WIN!!!! from KKIM!!!

Let us pray..........

Lord, You are our strength......We pray for a deeper bond of fellowship with You. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

Please pray for Gwen/Lydia KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Thank you for being here to pray. Gwen is asking for our prayers...........We are here to serve, and not to beserved. Thanks for being with us. There is nothing like being surrounded by Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

Hi Dewey,
Could you please put me on the prayer list. I've been overwhelmed with anxiety/depression lately. My body is healed, so there's no logical reason for this to be happening. I should feel free to go about my days and life. Please pray.
Thanks,
Gwen

We have been praying for Gwen and her body is now healed but Satan is attacking her. Our Lord has healed her body........now let us pray..... like we are praying for Pastor Moss, that Satan be gone from their bodies. The closer we get to our Lord Jesus Christ the more Satan will attack us.

Also continue to pray for Lydia as she goes through the courts to protect herself and her children.

Teach me O Lord, the way of Your statutes,
And I shall keep it to the end.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law;
Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
Make me walk in the path of Your commandments,
For I delight in it.
Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness.
Turn away my eyes from looking at
worthless things,
And revive me in Your way.
Establish Your word to Your servant,
Who is devoted to fearing You.
Turn away my reproach which I
dread.
For Your judgements are good.
behold, I long for Your precepts;
Revive me in Your righteousness.

Pray for Pastor Larry Moss KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Please pray for our Dear Brother Pastor Larry Moss. Many of you who read the CUP know of Pastor Moss. He was Pastor of Heights Cumberland for years and years and had a Radio Ministry on KKIM and retired in July. Since Larry retried he has been in extreme pain. Leg and back pain. It is very hard for him to get around, if at all. In talking to Larry he says it is a satanic attack, yes it is.........please pray. Larry ask's for your prayers.

Larry has been a Dear Brother of mine........he has helped me grow in Christ......his son Greg was a mentor of our son, Lars. Greg passed away a few years ago. Larry has helped so many folks over the years come to Christ, and grow in Christ. Dear Brothers and Sister's in Christ let us pray for Larry.

Lord, We come to you this day for our Brother Larry's healing. You know Larry's heart and soul better than us, Oh Lord, please heal him and give him comfort. We pray that Satan's attack on Larry cease at this moment. In the name of Jesus, AMEN

Before I go please think and pray about this:

When were you first totally at ease and in comfort with yourself and Jesus Christ? Or have you not been there?

After you pray on that...if you feel so moved to share with me, in private, just call or email me. We are here to serve you.

In them and you in me, all being perfected into one. Then the world will know that you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me. John 17:23
