KKIM/TV Morning Cup with YOU! KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM family,

I believe God talks to me on any given moment by guiding and comforting me through Bible verses and brining into my life Brothers and Sisters to help me in my walk with HIM.

I encourage you to have a HOME Church......You need that anchor.......You need that family.......You need a Pastor or Pastor's! I have over a dozen!!! (Dr. Larry bates call's them Dewey's Warriors!!!)The Lord put it on my heart to share with those of you (and I know there are many, because I hear from you) who do not have a home Church, you really need to pray and seek that ANCHOR! It is an ANCHOR into God's love! Pray and God will send the Church you are to attend.

Last night I was with Ch 11 Son Broadcasting helping with their Praise-A-Thon. What a blessing to be with them on this special night. What is so awesome is to see Christian Broadcasters coming together. KKIM and Son Broadcasting have become partners in Christ...working together for the Lord. I really love Annette, Ted, and Sue....the whole staff at Son. We are working together to propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I see the Church also coming together here in New Mexico!!! For God's Glory alone! I share more about last night below.........

Let me share these notes with you first..........

Dewey:

Thanks you so much for the invitation to attend Dr. Bates' Economic and Political Crisis Update. In my opinion, Dr. Bates was spot on about investments, personal preparation and personal responsibility, and the importance of food independence. All States, especially ours, would be well served by following Dr. Bates' counsel.

Wonderful to see so many in attendance who care so deeply about our State and Nation.

Wonderful to see you too.

Thanks again.

Thank you Janice!

Hi Dewey,
Thanks for the cup today. Also wanted to insert that UNM is currently spending over $50 million to renovate the basketball cathedral. How much good could have come in our state from that kind of money which was approved by our legislature (our Gov. has a choice box of course). But also, "How about them Cowboys?" They just spent $1.3billion to build the new Cowboy Palace. So, is this a sign of our times pointing to the idols we worship, or what? God bless.

Pastor Don
Thanks Pastor Don! By the way I was wrong on Coach Locksley salary, he makes more than I was told. He makes $750,000 a yr for 6 yrs plus bonuses. Learning today that your phone calls have made a difference. UNM feels the heat and Human Resources will investigate the Coach for his actions. The AD sure was in a hurry to get rid of this one with his verbal reprimand and letter! Locksley contract contains a clause that would allow UNM to terminate him for "adequate cause," which includes assault or battery on another person. If UNM did so, it would have to pay him ONLY what he earned up to the time he were fired. UNM needs to remove him now! AD Krebs should also get a warning on how he tried to slip by this one.

Now your phone calls, emails are going to be needed come Jan........here is KKIM's Frank Haley.........

During his final year in office, Gov. Bill Richardson will try again to get the New Mexico Legislature to pass a bill establishing domestic partnerships, an aide confirmed Tuesday.

Eric Witt, Richardson's legislative liaison, said the bill will be introduced in the regular 30-day session of the Legislature, which convenes in January to deal primarily with financial matters.

The only nonfinancial matters that can be considered during the short session must be included on the governor's call.

Linda Siegle, lobbyist for Equality New Mexico, a gay and lesbian rights organization, said Tuesday that advocates have been meeting with a representative of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in an effort to come up with legislation that wouldn't draw opposition from the Roman Catholic Church.

"I think it's contingent on a successful conversation with the Catholic Church," Siegle said of the proposal to extend to unmarried couples a legal standing more like that of married couples.

Many on both sides of the debate said it was the opposition of the New Mexico Conference of Catholic Bishops — which in previous years had been neutral on domestic partnerships — that led to the lopsided defeat of a domestic partnership bill in the state Senate earlier this year.

WOW!
What a night for the Lord!
Pastor Leonard Navarre, Bishop OJ McIntyre of Farmington really preached up a storm last night! WOW can those guy PREACH IT! I told the folks on Ch 11 that I was so fired up I wanted to march around the building!!!!

Valerie is with Destiny of Albuquerque, Valerie has such a beautiful voice for God!

Christian media, KKIM and Son broadcasting coming together, The Church coming together, all denominations...WOW That is what KKIM and Son share! That is what you share with us! Thank you Annette, Ted and Sue for allowing myself and KKIM to take part. For God's Glory Alone!!!!!

Let me share this with you as I close..........

Some people look at me.Like I am wacked(Yes I am.I am wacked for GOD!!!) when I tell them God speaks to me! I got an email awhile back that said something like this..I have been a Christian all my life and God has never spoken to me! That is after I said God had told me something.

Well, yesterday I picked up a book at Bibles Plus by Beck Tirabassi entitled, "Let God talk to You"

I know God talks to us........but we have to have the heart to hear HIM. When our walk is so close to God He sends the Holy Spirit, the Messenger, to guide us through life.

It is one of the most exciting things in the Christian life!!!! WOW!

Lord willing I will share with you from Becky's book as I go through it.........here is a taste........

God most often talks to me through His Word, followed by simple thoughts or ideas----requiring some action, often very practical, but not necessarily easy to do. At first, what He asks of me may seem unusual, or even impossible. However, if I don't argue or procrastinate and willingly follow His directions, His voice gets clearer. In fact, His voice almost stirs some emotion in me: my heart races, my cheeks flood with redness, or my toes tap quickly and anxiously until I do or say what I feel He is compelling me to do or say.

When God talks to me, I always feel motivated----physically, emotionally, or spiritually.

AMEN! I feel the same way!

Have you talked to God lately? has God talked to you?

Maybe you need to go to a quiet spot right now and reconnect with God........and hear HIS voice.

If you would like to talk to me about this just let me know.

Let us pray...............

Lord, we pray today for those who do not hear Your voice.......We pray that their hearts will be opened up by the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
