Wed CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Let us all ask God to help us pour our lives into things that "moths and rust cannot destroy" (Matt. 6:20) Thank God that we will one day not only see Jesus but also be like Him. (1 John 3:2)

From Pastor Leonard............

The formula for peaceful living:
Fret not – God loves you
Faint not – God holds you
Fear not – God keeps you

Philippians 4:6, 7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” (LB)

I am praying for you and your families,

Leonard

Here's a couple of notes that we have received............
Praise God for KKIM and Dewey. We were able to stop domestic partnership because Christians in this state were willing to pray, stand and take action so that we could protect marriage between one man and one woman . I praise God for KKIM and the voice they representative.

Thank you for doing what God has called you to do. "Be a light to the Nation".

Hi Dewey,
I thought you would like to know that the community bulletin board at the Ole Mill Cafe in Estancia, NM, how has a KKIM poster advertising "Nuggets of Truth." You can't miss it. Awesome!

Pastor Don

By the way Frank says Brooke is doing much better! PRAISE GOD!

Please pray for Pastor Mark Tross he is ill.

It's always great to hear from you all...........We are here to serve..........not to be served........

With all the honey coming our way......Sharon and myself........we say for God's Glory Alone! We Boast in God's Goodness!!!! Let us work at turning our lives completely over to serving the Lord. I am still working on that.........

Let us not get a big EGO! EGO stands for Edging God Out!!!!!!

As you know my favorite verse is........

My life is worth nothing unless I use it for doing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus Acts 20:24

I really try and not do anything stupid everyday..........

I am thinking of having Sandy print T-Shirts up....on the front it would say "Don't do anything stupid today" and on the back it would say, "I am Following Jesus".......What do you think? Would you order one? Any ideas?

Let me share this from Andy Hawthorne in Hope Unleashed.........

Jesus came out of the desert in the power of the Spirit, to read Isaiah 61 in the synagogue. The Bible tells us that every eye was fastened on Him. I reckon all the little kids went quiet; even the goats and chickens were silenced as He read today's Bible verse:

"The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free."

For the next couple of years these words drove him forward, leaving the synagogue and embarking upon the most extraordinary mission the world has ever seen.

If these words helped define the model that Jesus worked to, then surely they ought to have some kind of impact on our lives, as we try to follow Jesus. So it is good to ask questions about how much the poor, the prisoners, and the oppressed fit into our plans. Can we find those people near us? Have they experienced firsthand our bold preaching, great acts of kindness, sacrifice, and service? Are they more aware of the miraculous nature of God because of our presence?

WOW! What a wonderful devotional today! PRAISE GOD!

What drives you?

Let us pray...........

Lord, we pray that our concerns today be about cultivating a calm and quiet soul as we trust You, our Heavenly Father with the profound matters of life. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
