Monday AM CUP KKIM/DDC

Pray on that for awhile.......chew on that............do not quickly dismiss the wise words of Chambers..........What is ungodly in your life? It may seem to you like a little thing.......but remember........termites are little things, that eat at the foundation!
Look up into the heavens. Who created all the stars? He brings them out like an army, one after another, calling each by its name. Because of His great power and incomparable strength, not a single one is missing. Isaiah 40:26

We had a great turn out at Church yesterday....Pastor Mark Tross says his Church was full......hearing good reports on Church attendance to hear God's Word!

Also, worshiped at Pastor Don's church today. Really, really enjoyed it. Loved meeting him finally, and his lovely wife.

Here's hoping you and your family are well and happy and your new year has kicked off on a very blessed note.
Dewey, I am writing to request prayers for the friends and family of young Sky Vassar, a student at Desert Ridge Mid School who passed away on Friday (I believe) of complications from appendicitis. At least that's what I've been able to gather. She must have been about 13.
Sadly, I do not know her family but I can only imagine the devastation they must be feeling. I have also been moved to tears by the outpouring of love and grief from Sky's classmates on Facebook! I wish I knew how to share that w/her family as these sweet kids have so honored this beautiful young girl.
Dewey, kindly pass along this prayer request that Sky's family might find peace and solace in the Lord, and in the knowledge that their beautiful child is safe and well and happy in our Lord's embrace.
In addition, I also add my voice to so many who call to the world to pray for our brothers and sisters suffering in Haiti. Merciful Father, please bring them peace and comfort, make way for those delivering help and food, and keep their land safe and stable in the palm of your hand.
As always, Dewey, thank you for your kindness and for dedicating your life to the Lord's work here on Earth. May the Lord continue to shine His light upon you as a beacon of peace and faith. Love and blessings to you and your family. Be well, my friend.

Also I pray that you read yesterdays posting from John Robb of the International prayer Council on Haiti and Malaysia Please keep those countries in your prayers.
Also please pray for the Satanic attacks on our Children.......Today we have a report of a School Official at a Christian School in Santa Fe, NM, yes this is a problem even in the Church, having sexual relations with a student.
This is the Fourth reported case in a week here in New Mexico of a Teacher or School Official having an inappropriate relationship with a student.
I repeat this continues to be a problem even in the CHURCH!
We must not turn our Backs on God on this issue.
Little girl in Church yesterday put forth a prayer request......Let us not hate........and today we honor Martin Luther King Jr. who preached just that.
As Max Lucado says, "Olive Branches do more good than battle-axes ever will."
Sharon just called me with the report of a 4.1 earthquake on the New Mexico/Colorado border.......the earth is moaning and groaning.........
We have been talking about a Personal relationship with Jesus Christ for years now here on the CUP and KKIM.
How is your walk with Jesus coming?
Do you hear him?
When your walk is STRONG with the Lord you will hear him.........
Here is what Rick Warren says about that...........
"The way I explain it is, God has a will for our lives. I also believe there is a real Satan, and I believe he has a will for our lives. I believe I have my own will, and I'm always choosing. You know, I don't have to accept God's will. I'm making choices all the time. And when Satan gives you a bad idea, we call that temptation. And so, when I say God said something to me, that's inspiration. It's thought.
"Now, I don't know how a cell phone works, but if another person can talk to me through the air, God can certainly put a thought in my mind without him having to say it aloud. I have never heard God say something aloud, ever. Many times I have gotten an idea and I've thought, "I don't know where that came from." And I wasn't sure if it was me or God or something else. But I've been a friend with God now for forty years, and I talk to him all the time just like I'm talking to you. But now that I've been a believer for forty years, I've become more comfortable with it. The longer I walk with the Lord the more I just know His voice."

I feel exactly the same..........AMEN!
Now if we would introduce more people to the Lord we would have a better world. Also if those who already walk with the Lord stay away from sin.......we would be such an AWESOME testimony to others! Everytime Satan knocks a Christian down it hurts the testimony to someone who doesn't know Christ. Be strong........Put on the Armor of God......
I pray today that we all grow in our relationship with the Lord........I pray that you will talk and listen to Him all of your days.
You will be THRILLED!!!!
