Dewey and Sharon are back CUP KKIM/DDC
Dear KKIM Family,
We are back! PRAISE GOD...so much to share.........
My prayer is that you will drink this whole cup slowly........don't drink to fast.......spend time drinking this cup let it soak into your heart and soul.......pray over it.......
May the Holy Spirit surround you today.........may you be consumed by God.......May the Devil hate you!
Reading a book on Rick Warren and he signed one letter to friends......."May the Devil hate you!" Makes you think doesn't it!
Why do some say that want it.........but yet won't take the steps to get it?
They say they want help but won't make the commitment to Christ.
They say they are lonely....but yet won't join a Church........
We as the Body of Christ must to a much better job of sharing the GOOD NEWS..we must TURN PEOPLE ON TO JESUS NOT OFF!!!!!!!
We as the body of Christ have a mission field all around us........I found it from Albuquerque to Sacramento.......It may be your next door neighbor.......We are to carry out the Great Commission.
We have so many things to share with you......Thanks to you all who have emailed prayers to us on our travels.

First of all...The Funeral was AWESOME! It was a time of celebration of Rodger Altman's life. But it was also a time of sadness for Sharon's family.
The funeral took place at the National Cemetery in Dixon, California which opened in 2007 and already 6,000 are buried there.
We are losing the WWII Generation rapidly. Sharon's Dad served in the Air Force in WWII.
It was such a blessing to officiate at Rodger's funeral. My first as a Pastor. I give PRAISE and THANKS to GOD for all that HE is doing in the lives of Sharon and myself and our family!
I am so thankful to have a wife who is right there with me in Ministry. We were able to Minister to many on the trip and we were also ministered too!!!!
We as a family spent a lot of time together.......God consumed us all! A time of love and healing and to get to know each other better.
Got to spend time with my nephew Samuel and nieces Haley and Hannah. Love to hear the words, "Hi Uncle Dewey!" Hope to hear the words, Hi Grandpa! someday, Lord willing!!
We have a niece in Minnesota...... Hayden!!!
We also have a niece Haley, yes another little Haley! in Memphis!!!

Went to Church with the kids on Sunday to the Country Oaks Baptist Church in Elk Grove. Pastor Richard Dwyer gave the best sermon on Revelation that I have ever heard! I have it on tape on Lord willing will play it back on KKIM in the future, Lord willing.
"Blessed is the one who reads the words of the prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take it to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." Rev 1:3
As pastor Dwyer said the Book of Revelation is not read by a lot of folks because it is scary to them and they do not understand. Pastor Dwyer did an outstanding teaching on Revelation.
Remember.....Our Lord is coming back as a WARRIOR riding a war horse with an army of Angels!
Are you ready?
Read Revelation today........The Pastor reminded us the book is not Revelations..it is Revelation........I gotta a kick out of that!
But I ask again are you ready for the Lord to return? What if the Lord calls you home today?
It does one good to walk a cemetery now and then........I did and I read the stones of many........
Prayer was the backbone of Jesus Ministry...Often He broke away from his disciples to spend time with God. In the same way, prayer is essential to individual lives and to the life of the Church. Break away from your daily routine for quiet time in prayer......one hour a day with God.
Thanks for your prayers for Lars and Austin in their travels to San Diego.......They got home safely.
Just got off the phone with Leslie....we have been praying for her son RJ Murphy who was critically injured in a car wreck in Connecticut. RJ's father died in the wreck.
Leslie who is such a Dear, Dear Friend and Manager of the Coffee Shop at the Evangelical Center here in Albuquerque reports to me this morning that she got an excellent report on RJ! He has undergone 28 surgeries.The Doctor's are working on getting him to breathe on his own and he has pneumonia.
But RJ has come a long ways since the accident. Doctor's are encouraged.....RJ is responding to the new drug they are giving him for the pneumonia.He is breathing more on his own..........Leslie can feel your prayers..........she thanks you for your prayers.........
Please keep RJ and the whole family in your prayers.
We also have a report on Baby Angel III .The Baby that was abused by her parents here in Albuquerque ....... and near death......Baby is improving.......but in need of much healing.......Please keep praying.
Also heard from Pastor Alan Hawkins that Pastor Mike Schaefer is much improved, still in ICU. Pastor Mike had surgery yesterday to repair a broken bone......successful and the outlook is good.
Please keep Pastor Mike in your prayers.
Met Claudia in Elk Grove...her father was kidnapped and murdered in Mexico. Please keep the People of Mexico in your prayers........Whether we want to admit it or not there is a WAR going on in Mexico..........as the US stands by and does nothing to help.
Please keep the people of Haiti in your prayers.
Please keep Pastor Leonard Navarre in your prayers as he prepares to leave for India.
Let our concerns Today be about cultivating a calm......quiet........soul.........as we trust our Heavenly Father with the profound matters of life.........AMEN!
I am going to spend the next couple of days with Sharon and then back to work on Friday, but it was important to get this CUP to you and the prayer needs.

Many Politicians are making ETHICS REFORM an issue........what really is the issue is people accepting Jesus Christ in their hearts and souls.........that is the reform that is needed world wide........Politicians are just full of a bunch of NOTHING NOISE .........most anyhow on this issue.......Ethics reform is a Godly issue.......it is an issue of eternal life........
I still love of what Mark Twain said, "The only difference between a Democrat and Republican is the spelling!"
We are finding out that neither party has the answer......mostly nothing noise........Jesus is the answer..a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
There is corruption all around us.........it is rampant from Albuquerque to Sacramento.......World wide...........It was in the news everywhere we went.........
That is why the Church must do a better job of TURNING PEOPLE ONTO JESUS NOT OFF!!!
And then when people join the Church we must be together..and be accountable to each other.......Look at what happened to Pastor Paul Shepherd.......moral failings..end of his ministry........Even Pastor's need accountability!!!!
ACCOUNTABLITY TO EACH OTHER AND TO JESUS CHRIST!!!!!

And unrolling the scroll, he found the place where it is written: The Spirit of the LORD is on me, because HE has ANOINTED me to preach GOOD NEWS to the poor. Luke 4:17-18
