Where God guides HE provides!

Praying for you and your families.

Leonard

Frank Just got this..........
We have just received an urgent message and prayer request from our friend Tom Doyle in Colo. Springs with the Evaga Cube ministry:

In Jordan yesterday, their Middle East Director-Jamal Zarka had an attempt on his life by a fanatical Muslim in their e3 MECA office. The man that tried to kill Jamal came to the office and said that he had questions about Jesus. Jamal began to visit with him and when he turned to get a booklet, the man tried to kill Jamal by driving a screwdriver into the back of his head. Jamal turned around in shock after the weapon stuck in his head and he was hit in the face by a club. Miraculously, Jamal survived the attack and the Jordanian police were called.

The Muslim hard liner was carried off to jail but as he left Jamal told him in front of the Jordanian authorities- "I follow Jesus and I don't hold this against you. I forgive you, and I love you and will pray for you and your family." The Muslim was stunned and said "you are a better man than I am!"

Today Jamal will have to appear in court and give his side of the story. The main issue that Jamal will have to answer is "why is this Muslim man so angered by what you are doing." Jamal may be exposed for his evangelistic work in Jordan.

Jamal has asked for our fervent prayers .

God is moving in the Middle East and our enemy hates this. Praise God that this attack will spur the gospel on to reach more people and God will be glorified by all of this. Jamal said that he is "honored" to suffer for Christ! Just like the disciples in Acts 5:41

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not weapons of this world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds." II Corinthians 10:3-4

Thanks for your prayers for this brother, Jamal Zarka in Jordan.

Here is a note from Pastor Don Kimbro who is also a friend of Tom's........

Hi Dewey,
Dorothy and I have just returned from a Muslim Background Believers conference, where we heard testimonies of how God is changing the hearts of Muslims all over the world and they are coming to Christ. Jesus is appearing to many in visions and dreams. He is raising up a new generation of believers in Muslim countries, as we witnessed 48 who have recently come to the Lord, many who gave their testimonies. Some have been totally disowned by their families, and even have death threats upon their lives but they are remaining faithful regardless of the costs. A 17-hear old teenager, now residing with a Christian pastor in Orlando, FL, is a prime example. Please pray for her as the judge decides whether to return her to Ohio and a Muslim father who has threatened to kill her. We have much to learn from these new believers, most of whom are young people. Praise God!

Pastor Don

Let us keep all these matters in our Prayers.
I was swamped last night after watching the Dramatic Victory by the Minnesota Twins I heard from many, Thank you..I was asked if I had any hair left! Did I have any to begin with! Sharon was on the phone with my 93 year Old Uncle Joe who was gasping for breath on every pitch and Sharon then was on the Phone with Pastor Leonard telling him that she was glad the neighbors didn't call the Cops with all my loud cheering! We have AWESOME neighbors! I became cranky there for awhile during the game and I think Sharon wishes I would have taken it outside! I have an AWESOME wife!
After the game I went back to work on reporting on the Mayor's race. That is why you should join us on Twitter like Pastor Mark Scales! Keep posted on all news and prayer needs.
Anyhow after sending out News Alerts on Twitter and Email, I got a bunch of replies from people that even said they were dancing in their living room with Berry's Victory! The only candidate who is against same sex marriage. This is a huge victory for the Republican Party, the last time the Duke City had a Republican Mayor is Kinney from 81 to 85. Can the Republican Party carry this momentum into the Gov's race? especially with the pay to play scandal raising it's ugly head again, against the Richardson Administration. (The Richardson Administration is a disgrace against God)The other question is can the Republican Party get it's act together state wide? It needs more people like State Rep. Nora Espinoza, Janice E Arnold Jones, Walter Bradley, Mayor Bradley, Steve Pierce, Bill Redmond, Attorney David Standridge, Pastor Steve Smothermon, Pastor Marvin Capehart.God's people who will speak up!!!!

I have been asked to run for office, but the Lord has me right where he wants me to be. I remind people I am an Independent, I am for the Jesus Party! I voted yesterday and will vote for Godly people. I do not do well with Party Politics. That is why I am so outspoken with all the wrong doing's in the Richardson Administration. It is down right wrong! Is there anything that represents Jesus in that office?

The People of New Mexico continue to let their voices be heard, Defeating same sex marriage, knocking down changes to the Pledge of Allegiance, and now electing Mayor Berry. It is a battle everyday, and we here at KKIM and the CUP will continue to fight on, Lord willing.

State Rep. Richard Berry scored an impressive victory Tuesday with an outright win over three-term incumbent Martin Chávez to become Albuquerque's next mayor.
"We had a message that resonated with voters in Albuquerque, and we worked hard," said Berry, a general contractor and two-term Republican state representative who campaigned as a "common-sense" business owner with conservative themes. He claimed victory at about 11 p.m.
Chávez stopped short of conceding Tuesday night. But before leaving a campaign party, he said, "Clearly, if the trend continues, R.J. Berry will be our next mayor."
Berry led Chávez by 7,326 votes with all precincts counted in what appeared to be a light turnout of about 25 percent.
Berry maintained a 5 percentage point or better lead over Chávez throughout the night and finished above the 40 percent threshold needed to avoid a runoff election next month. His margin over Chávez ended up being nearly 9 percentage points, according to unofficial results.
Richard Romero, the third candidate in the race, was trailing, with about 21 percent.
If the election results are certified, Berry will become the first Republican mayor elected in Albuquerque since Harry Kinney won in 1981, joining a City Council that now holds a 5-to-4 Republican majority.
Little dissatisfaction with Chávez was evident before the campaign went full-bore, but Berry and Romero both stepped up criticism of the incumbent on crime and other issues as the campaign moved on. Both challengers argued that 12 of years of Chávez was simply too much.
The Albuquerque mayoral election is nonpartisan, but party affiliations clearly played a role. Chávez, a moderate if not a conservative Democrat, appeared to split Democratic votes with Romero, a former Democratic state senator. Berry rounded up Republicans and was competitive even in Democratic-leaning areas.
Chávez already made history when he was elected in 2005, becoming the first mayor to win consecutive terms since the city adopted the city charter system in 1974. Chávez also served as mayor from 1993 to 1997.

The new mayor takes over Dec. 1 for a four-year term.

Let us Pray..........

Lord, watch over the new Mayor of Albuquerque, Richard Berry......We pray that he will turn the Mayor's office to Your ways. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
