Praise/Prayer/News CUP KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

The Lord Jesus Christ knows every key in our souls, and He can wake up our whole being to harmonies of music that will set the world ringing with His praises! Charles Spurgeon

Prayer is the essential activity of waiting for God: acknowledging our helplessness and His power, calling upon Him for help, seeking His counsel. So it is evident why prayer is often commanded by God, since His purpose in the world is to be exalted for His mercy. Prayer is the antidote for the disease of self-confidence.

AMEN!!!

Needed prayer........
Dewey,
My husbands sister - Casey - is having brain surgery today. At the young age of 41 she's been diagnosed with a brain anneurysm. Everything is expected to go smoothly, but having your skull cut open is quite scary. Paul's dad is a nervous wreck. Please also pray that this is something that Paul is never stricken with as the most likely relative to also suffer one is a sibling.

Thanks and love,

Taunya

Let us be in prayer for Casey

Answered Payer........Thanks to those of you who kept me updated!

Dewey, here's a praise report from Tom Doyle and Jamal in Jordan...
Thanks for your prayers, Frank

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your prayers and fasting for Jamal! I just talked to him on Skype. Jamal told me that he has a gash in his head and lots of bruises on his face but is ok. There is no question that the man was attempting to kill him because after he jabbed the screwdriver into his head he jumped on top of him and tried to stick the screwdriver into his chest.

Jamal is back from court now and God moved there in a powerful way! Jordan tries to quell anything between Muslims against Christians quickly because they don't want any negative publicity to affect their Tourism industry. Without a steady stream of tourists- (and many of them Christians) going to sites like Mount Nebo, Petra, and Jerash their economy would become very unsteady. So the government tries to deal with these things and keep them out of the press. That's why even though the attack happened last night, Jamal was in court this morning.

So here is what happened in court. The Muslim man was found guilty of attempted murder and taken into custody. Jamal was not asked about his evangelistic ministry and that is a real blessing!!!! Jamal reminds all of us at times of one the disciples in the book of Acts. He asked the head of the police if he could talk to the man that attacked him before they took him away, and they agreed to bring him back for Jamal to talk to. In front of everyone, Jamal said to the man that tried to kill him: "When Jesus died on the cross for my sins and yours He said 'Father forgive them' ...and I want you to know that I forgive you too. And because of that, there is nothing between you and me and there is nothing between your family and mine. I forgive you and know that God will use this in your life. I will come visit you and will see you when you are released. I love you with Jesus' love!"

Wow! How powerful is that testimony of Grace! The Middle East is where revenge is normal and grace is rarely, if ever, seen. Jamal said that as they led the man away, he noticed that that head of the police who is Muslim was crying!!! Praise the Lord. God touched his heart by this living picture of grace. Jamal says that he has received a call from just about every pastor in Jordan as the news of the attack had traveled fast. They were standing with him in prayer. You too were standing with him in prayer and in fasting. Which is why I believe we saw such miraculous events transpire in court today. Jamal said to say "thank you brothers and sisters in America. I felt your prayers and the Lord used them to strengthen me in this difficult time."

Jamal also says: "please pray for Abdul Raouf who attacked me." We are believing that God will use this to bring him to Jesus, (and very likely make him into a leader as well!) We hope that when God does this that Abdul will join us in the ministry!!!" Amazing. Now that's forgiveness.

Jamal closed with this: "Tom, I need to go to bed now. I am going to Egypt on a mission trip tomorrow!" Ok!!! Wow if that would have happened to any of us we probably would have needed counseling or something! But not Jamal. God's work goes on.

All of us at e3 Partners are so privileged to work with Jamal and many other frontline saints just like him. e3 President Curtis Hail and I just talked and he said "can you believe we get to serve Christ with people like this?" Amen to that!

The believers in the Middle East are ready and willing to be persecuted and martyred for the cause of Christ. Two years ago today, our dear brother Rami Ayaad was martyred in Gaza. God continues to use Rami's life and I'm sure will do so for decades to come. So we thank God that He spared Jamal's life.

Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers. Thank you for calling your people to prayer and fasting and your gracious response. We love you.

God Bless you all. Good night Jamal. Get some good sleep. Egypt needs Jesus too! Blessings, Tom, JoAnn, Julia, and entire e3 Team.

Let us also pray for my home town of Windom, Minnesota. Remember City officials tried to remove the Fire Chief because he drove a Fire Truck to a Church for a wedding picture? Well, now they did the following...........once again making the news for all the wrong reasons.......It involved a relative of mine, 101 year old John Moede whose Dad was my Grandpa Moede's brother.........When my 93 Year Old Uncle Joe heard this he was so sad.........

Thanks to my Sister-in-Law Denise Moede of Windom for sending this to me. The City officials of Windom have lost their moral compass. They lack common sense. It is a disgrace. The Town is being ran by people that are nothing but inept.

Windom and all communities need people like Dan Lewis......who helps bring back God into Government. Many communities like Windom, lack Godly people in Government positions.

Praise God........Pastor Dan Lewis Joined us on New Mexico News and Views. Dan was just elected to a City Council seat in Albuquerque!

DAN LEWIS: A “West Side Story":

Husband and Dad:

* Dan Lewis and his wife Tracy are longtime West Side Albuquerque residents and are raising two children, Madison, 13, and Jensen, 11

Teacher:

* Dan and Tracy are both certified teachers:
o Dan at the secondary level, having taught Language Arts at Cibola High School where he also coached baseball; and
o Tracy at the elementary level, now teaching third grade at Seven Bar Elementary School.

Small Business Owner:

* Dan is also an Albuquerque small business owner and local employer, having founded:
o Rio Grande Foam Inc., a leading distributor of polyurethane foam and upholstery products, and
o Rio Grande Rustics Inc., a large online rustic furniture company.

Educational Background:

* Dan received his Masters Degree with a communications concentration from Southwestern Theological Seminary, and his
* Bachelor of Arts from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

* Dan and Tracy also founded the West Side’s Soul Rio Church, where for many years they have helped counsel troubled marriages, encouraged and supported parents, and promoted strong families. The church began ten years ago as a small group that met in Dan and Tracy’s West Side home, and has grown into a congregation of hundreds of adults and children where Dan serves as Pastor.
* In addition to his family, community, and business responsibilities, Dan volunteers frequently at his children’s schools, and regularly serves homeless citizens at “Noonday” in downtown Albuquerque.
* Dan serves on the Board of Directors of the Paradise Hills Little League.
* Dan is also a member of the National Kidney Foundation, and is a living kidney donor.

NEWS MAKERS OF THE DAY:

Well. we have to start off with Pastor of Soul Rio Church and newly elected Albuquerque District 5 City Council Member, Dan Lewis (Bio above). His Church of 10 years is located on Southern & Unser in Rio Rancho, but his congregation just grew another 48,000 people for Dan to look after. He stated he started his campaign wanting to listen to people and to do so with integrity and honesty (talk about change). He's going to focus on the crime situation in his district and public safety. Saying he has much respect for R.J. Berry, Dan says Albuquerque's newly elected Mayor is humble and that he is very impressed with him. Most should be, since he's the first Republican Mayor to take office in nearly a qyarter of a century! Even Bill Clinton and Howard Dean couldn't help Martin Chavez this time around. Dan says it was the grass roots effort and people were fighting for their values. Younger people are getting involved with politics and others can't just be angry about things, they need to get involved and change the situations at hand. Whether he won or lost, Dan was going to honor God, plus he attributes his and Berry's win to what he called, "almost the perfect storm," referring to the corruption investigations hovering about Governor Bill Richardson and the Democratic powers to be here in NM.

How wonderful it is to have Dan Lewis serving Albuquerque and also new Mayor Berry! PRAISE GOD!!!

P.S. Matthew Hill who is heard daily on KKIM at 10am has a "Draft Dewey For Gov." campaign going on.......LOL!!! LOL!!!

Here is a note from Pastor Leonard on the Revival the Lord has set in our hearts ............

Just doing a little thinking about revival in the land, ABQ.

Some steps to begin NOW!

1) Prayer. The people who are tuned in now via Twitter, KKIM, DeweysDailyCup, Mark's network of emails and Leonard's contacts must be engaged. We must call people to PRAY, NOW!
II Chronicles 7:14, "if MY people, will humble themselves and PRAY and turn from their wicked ways". He first calls on HIS PEOPLE to begin the process. The revival never comes without HIS people repenting of their neglect, laziness, and complacent attitudes. IT MUST FIRST START US, WITH THE CHILDREN OF GOD.

2) No revival in the history of mankind has EVER OCCURRED without people returning to THE BOOK. Revival comes when people recommit themselves to be readers, studiers and researchers of the Bible. Remember, I said, NO REVIVAL has ever occurred without people turning to God's Word. i.e. Nehemiah. They rebuilt the walls but revival and renewal came when the law was read. They discovered what God wanted them to do in their personal lives and the life of their country.

3) Obedience. Remember II Chronicles 7:14 says, "if...turn from their evil ways, THEN, I will hear from heaven and heal their land". The healing of the land, renewal of our lives and spirits, and revival to our city, state and country comes when WE God's people repent of our high walls of division, repent of our complacency to doing what God's says, and repent of our distractions that the devil has placed in our lives. "Love the Lord our God with all of our body, mind, soul and spirit AND to love our neighbor as ourselves".

These HAVE to be preached and encouraged via every means possible. It must start with ME. I must pray, repent, get into God's Word, and DO WHAT IT SAYS. Those who claim to know Him must follow what HE said, "if you love me, keep my commandments."

Just thinking.

Praying for you and your families,
Leonard

Please be praying about the KKIM Revival......We feel it will be in the Spring, Lord Willing.
