Day 1 Of Cross Int. Radio-A-Thon KKIM/DDC

Dear KKIM Family,

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. Eph 5:1

Today we get a HUGE opportunity that was brought forward by our Lord to save lives! Tom Lewis of Cross International will be on the air today sharing with you on how just for a $68.00 one time gift you can help save a Child in Mozambique. The AWESOME thing about Cross International is that just over 95% of what you give goes directly to help the Orphans! This is the third year KKIM has partnered with Cross International, It is a top notch outfit for the Lord. For those of who you read the CUP out of state and around the World you can take part also! Please pray about your involvement and giving. Can we count on you? Can the Orphans count on you?

As water reflects a face, so a man's heart reflects the man. Proverbs 27:19

Radio-A-Thon for African Orphans

Have you thought lately about what $68 dollars can buy? Can you imagine being able to raise a child for one year with $68 dollars? Sound too good to be true? Cross International is giving you an opportunity to rescue a child off of the streets of Mozambique, and place them into a Christian home, for just a one time gift of $68. Your gift will provide all the food, clothing, medical care, & school supplies that these kids need for an entire year. Your $68 one time gift, not an ongoing monthly commitment, will accomplish so much! There are more than 1,000 kids waiting right now…the families are ready to take them in…we just need you! Call the rescue line right now, at , to rescue an orphan. Please join us on Tuesday, October 13th, and again on Wednesday, October 14th, to find out more, or call right now to rescue a child.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Let us move forward in Christ for the Orphans!

Here is an update and prayer need.........

Good Morning Dewey,

My sister-in-law's brain surgery went well ~ Praise God! She did even better than expected ~ thanks to everyone's heartfelt prayers ~ thank you so much!

As I know you don't mind, I have yet another request; my beautiful sister Mary, one of the most loving Christian women you could ever hope to meet, is suffering with immense pain in her hip. It's been determined that she needs a total hip replacement (at just 51 yrs of age) and is slated for surgery in December, but in the interim she is suffering greatly. The last few night I've spoken with her she's been in tears. Throughout all of this, she's working full time as an OR Nurse and I know you of all people can appreciate the physical toll this can take on ones body. Please pray that her pain is alleviated and that her surgery goes well ~ pray that the doctors hands are guided by the Great Physician Himself and that my beautiful sister will be restored to complete health.

In thanks and praise,

Taunya

Here is an update from Dr. Deb on what to expect this Saturday........

Hi, Dewey,

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A panel of guests will be with me this Saturday to talk about many aspects of breast cancer – surviving, research, recovery, and services. Dr. T.J. Koerner, an American Cancer Society Researcher who is here in Albuquerque this weekend, will talk about the immune response to cancer and what the future may hold regarding detection and treatment. Also joining us is Rosie Walters, a breast cancer survivor who will share her story. You will not want to miss this show.

In obedience to Him,

Dr. Deb
