Dear KKIM Family,

Last night I shared with you how touching it was for Susan to ask for prayer for her husband, Albert. Now tonight, and how touching is this..........daughter Maria asking prayer for her Dad Pastor Vic Tafoya of True Life Fellowship. Pastor Vic is a dear friend of mine and KKIM! He is on the air every Sunday at 8am. Pastor Vic and his lovely wife Barbara are such people of God. Vic uses his hands to touch the hearts of God's people and he also uses them to work with.........please read Maria's request for her Daddy........how touching............God is at work here folks..........


Hi Dewey,

This is Maria McNerney...Shain McNerney's wife and Pastor Victor Tafoya's daughter. I was hoping that you could add a prayer request to DDC for my dad because I know he will never ask for himself. His hand has some sort of lump beneath the skin that is rapidly getting larger and is somewhat painful. As you know, he is a truck driver who delivers his own loads so this can get quite uncomfortable during work. Of couse, being human, he is very worried that it might be a malignant tumor or something similar. Or, even if it is benign and requires surgery, this will interfere significantly with work. He saw the hand surgeon last week and they said it was nothing they had ever seen before. They will be doing an MRI this week to determine the next course of action. Also, my parents are planning to go on vacation next week so hopefully it doesn't interfere with that either. My dad is always so strong for everyone else and always carries everyone else's burdens. I ask that you would please keep him in prayer regarding this fear of the unknown, as well as the possibility of what might happen following his MRI. Let me share with you the scripture that came to my mind when I read Maria's note and I just got a call from my wife Sharon who has found a Doctor who says she can help her with her autoimmune disease!!! Praise God!!!

We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired even life. Indeed, in our hearts we felt the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On Him we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us. 2 Cor. 1:8-10

Also please continue to pray for Revive Santa Fe. I just got a call from the leader Pastor Kyle Martin asking for prayer. KKIM will broadcast a special news conference, Lord willing, live on the air tomorrow at 4:30pm......stay tuned.. PRAISE GOD FOR ALL HE IS DOING IN SANTA FE!!!
