Good Morning KKIM Family,

I shared with you the very sad news of the passing of 29 year old Ryan Husted yesterday on News and Views. I serve on the Board of Directors at the Arc of New Mexico where Ryan's Mother Doris works. Doris has given much over the years to the people of New Mexico, she is a special lady. Ryan had just graduated from CNM and was getting active in his Church and he went to bed Friday night and did not get up. Please keep Doris and husband Tony and Family in your prayers please. Doris is one of God's angels here on earth doing HIS work for those less fortunate. Many of you who read this cup know Doris so I share the following info.............

I wanted to let you and everyone else know that Ryan's service will be
Thursday, the 11th, at 10 AM at First Family Church which is one block
north of Montgomery on Wyoming. If Someone there would pass this along I
would appreciate it.

Can you imagine the pain Doris and Tony and the rest of the family is going through. I had a nice talk with Doris yesterday and she laughed and cried through the conversation. I told her we are here to pray for her and lift her up at this time and that we will always be here for her. In the next couple of weeks when family and friends go back to their lives, it is at that time Doris and family will need us even more.

It is times like these that I really thank the Lord for you prayer warriors.........your prayers bring comfort to many!

We can learn from Ryan that we may have plans for ourselves........but the Lord can call us home at anytime. Are you ready? What if this was your last day here on earth?

We will have another posting before the week is out but also wanted to share with you the need for prayer for the following events..........There are many things going on in the state of New Mexico to bring people closer to God........Please pray for HIS will to be done in all these works.




God has established governments as ministries to provide order in the nations so that we are able to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the world to further the Great Commission. (Roman roads paved the way for the Gospel.) He is sovereign over the nations and removes leaders and establishes leaders as He wishes. In our country He has given us the privilege to vote for candidates from which our leaders are elected. As citizens of heaven and of this country we are to pray and to vote wisely to influence the culture on marriage and the unborn. The best protection for the unborn is in a marriage.

Please pray for the Vision America Crusades to encourage believers to vote their values on marriage and the unborn in the 2008 General Election. Please feel free to attend any one of these Crusades, which are as follows:

Praise note..........Son Michael who is at New Mexico State and studying to be a CPA was selected by the Udall campaign to intern as one of their accountants. What a wonderful opportunity for Michael!
