This is part 1: This message is based on Luke 2: 8-20. I suspect that all of you are familiar with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang. In on of the comic strips, Lucy walks up to Charlie Brown just before Christmas and says, “Charlie Brown, since it IS Christmas, I suggest that we lay aside all our differences and be friends for this season. Charlie Brown says, “That’s a great idea, Lucy, but why does it just have to be this time of year?” The sad fact is that many people DO behave differently at Christmas than they do during the rest of the year.
