Dear KKIM Family,
We are here to help you in your daily walk with Jesus Christ!
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith, but does not have works?
James 2:14
Today we are going to revisit our lessons in marriage from the Weekend To Remember conference that Sharon and I attended. Speaking of the Weekend to Remember………
Our dear friend Doug Scarborough Field Ministries Rep. for Family Life is in the hospital and undergoing heart tests. Doctor’s for months have been trying to regulate Doug’s heart beat. For those of you who know Doug (He has been on KKIM many times and was at the Weekend to Remember) you know that he has such a HUGE heart for the Lord. Let us pray that his heart is healed and he is out of the hospital soon. I talked to Doug yesterday from his hospital bed and as always his spirits are high!
This afternoon on New Mexico News and Views, Pastor Larry Moss will be with us talking about how it is our Christian duty to pray for our President and other leaders. By the way keep Larry in your prayers as he is set to retire in July. He has been the Pastor of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian for years and years and he has been on KKIM for almost 30 years!!! For those of you who are out-of-state, I call Larry the Billy Graham of New Mexico……One of the greatest Christian leaders this state will ever have. We are praying for the Lord’s will if Larry should continue his radio ministry after retirement from Heights Cumberland. Please pray with us.
PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD!!!!!

Dewey,
Our son, Mark Johnson with Wood for Widows, just mentioned that your
station was donating some advertising for Wood for Widows. I am so
grateful for your generosity to Wood for Widows. It means so much to this
mom for someone like you to come alongside Mark and help with this
ministry.
May God richly bless you for your kindness to our son and Wood for Widows!
Sincerely,
Gloria Johnson
James 1:27
Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit
the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself
unspotted from the world.
Thank you for the kind words, Gloria…….words of honey
Kind words are like honey——–sweet to the soul and healthy for the body Proverbs 16:24
Dewey,
Thank you so much for blessing our ministry with your ads on KKIM. We are already seeing the fruits of those ads, and I am overwhelmed by your generosity. Thank God for His obedient servants.
In Christ,
Mark Johnson

Well, I have my cup of coffee, with a bit of honey in it…..Let’s get back to our Marriage work from www.familylife.com
God’s purposes for marriage are challenged by an opposing force.
From the beginning, the Scriptures state that Satan has challenged God and His purposes for marriage.
Satan’s opposition is focused on Independence from God (Isaiah 14: 12-14, Ezekiel 28:12-18)
God created mankind and placed them in the middle of this spiritual battle.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. he said to the women, “Did God actually say, “You shall not eat of any tree in the garden?” And the women said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, “You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.”
But the serpent said to the women, “You shall not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the women saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. Genesis 3:1-6
Because mankind willfully chose independence from God, there have been at least three consequences man has suffered throughout history.
The image of God in humanity has been defaced
Marital companionship has been threatened by:
Shame
Guilt
Fear
Blame Shifting
Battle for control
A Godly legacy has been challenged by a Godless legacy
Cain spoke to Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. Genesis 4:8
Satan’s purposes are threatened by couples who are becoming one; therefore, Satan concentrates his MAJOR ATTACKS on them.
Paul says, For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
REMEMBER, YOUR SPOUSE IS NOT YOUR ENEMY!!!!
SATAN IS OUR ENEMY!!!!
MARRIAGE IS TO REFLECT GOD!!!!
SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!!!!
Remember, you can hear Family Life Today every weekday on KKIM at 7am and 8:30pm.
The House Judiciary Committee has its final meeting today, Wednesday, March 18th. If SB 77 is found to be to controversial, the committee may find a way not to address it.

let us pray…………
Father,
You never leave us to fend for ourselves. May our hearts catch up with our heads and feel the certainty of that truth. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
