Good Morning KKIM Family,
Praise Note!!!! Patty, Sharon’s best friend who we have been praying for as she faces cancer surgery, had her surgery yesterday and came out with an excellent report. The Doctor’s believe that they got all the cancer and that Patty will have a full and complete recovery! The surgery was done by a robot, they call this robotic surgery……WOW! Thank you all for your prayers for Patty.

That is like having over 300 new visitors to your home this month to share God with!!!! And that is not even counting the KKIM web site stats that I have not checked yet!!!!! We are also reaching foreign countries! PRAISE GOD for this technology!!!! Thanks to Jannetta for making this all happen!
with the knowledge of HIS will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding……in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please HIM in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all POWER according to HIS glorious might. Col. 1:9-11
There is something so special about you all! You take the time to pray for the needs that are presented here.
It is so AWESOME in the LORD, what HE is doing in our lives. You are putting the needs of others first and you are serving God’s people.
Here is a neat thing I saw in Pray magazine……..
Prayerwalk a hospital, nursing home, prison, city mission, or other place of human need. Ask God to give hope and salvation to those who live in or receive services from these places. Pray for HIM to pour out a spirit of compassion on those who represent Christ to these souls: Chaplin, Christian caregivers and guards, and volunteer ministers. See Luke 4:18-19.
This is not complaining about the condition of the world this is taking a leadership role for God! WOW!
How about praywalking where you work?
Prayer is our connection to our maker…..
As you present your prayers to the Father, recognize the companionship and partnership of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Cultivate an awareness of Their fellowship with you in prayer. Contemplate Their compassion and perseverance as They intercede for and with you. See Romans 8:26,34; Heb. 7:25
Yesterday we talked about self-improvement projects……….Sam keeps me in line!
Hi Dewey, when you asked about any self-improvement projects? Well, how much time do you have? haha
My special prayer for myself is to have more compassion. More love for people. More Patience is always in there. And most of all but not least, Mercy on this poor soul of mine.
You know how the Bible says that there are three things in the world ” the lust of the eyes, the lust of the body, and the pride of life”. That sums up everything here.
Of course we know that Patience is a virtue, and that only GOD can give us virtues. It is a gift. My thesaures says that virtue: ‘is moral excellence’. Wow. That sure would be great. I’ve read that only one man had it, and walked with God, till God took him to be in Heaven. Do you know his name Dewey? I have been searching the scriptures today to find it, I have forgotten. There isn’t alot written about that man I know. But I would like to find that scripture again. To refresh my memory. I would appreciate it if you know who I am talking about.
I sure hope you had a great holiday. God Speed , Sam
Today we salute all those World War II vet’s who went home to our Father this past year…….there are not many World War II vet’s left here on earth. I am sure you will enjoy this write up and make sure and check out Quentin’s web site which is listed below. Then below Nik sent us a reading for the new year and Karen writes us a PRAISE note……..
Luverne WWII fighter pilot Quentin Aanenson dies
December 29, 2008
Quentin C. Aanenson, 87, the soft-spoken former fighter pilot and Luverne, Minn., native whose articulate, moving accounts of his role in World War II were a prominent part of Ken Burns’ PBS series “The War,” died of cancer at his home in Bethesda, Md., on Sunday, family members said Monday.
Aanenson was a member of Luverne High School’s class of 1939 whose experience as a fighter pilot, captured in a 1994 film, came to Burns’ attention and led to the town’s choice as one of four communities singled out in “The War.”
Aanenson, who flew 75 combat missions in Europe, and his wife, Jackie, had most recently lived in the Washington, D.C., area, but have relatives in Minnesota.
Aanenson had said his class motto was “Look out, world; here we come.” They did, he said: Every one of the 21 males in his class entered the military, except for one who was rejected because of a heart condition.
“Watch all seven episodes of this,” he told teenagers in Luverne at the series’ debut in the fall of 2007. “Watch it straight through the episodes. Try to realize that what you’re seeing is the emotional history of a people and a country.”

From NiK……….
Good morning!!!
A comment was made by a Sunday school class mate that she going to move forward and let go of the past which falls perfectly inline to today’s message. How prophetic was that. God’s permissive will towards His perfect will :0)
Blessings, love and hugs,
Bury the Past
“Walk in newness of life…” Romans 6:4 NJKV
Some people stay up until midnight to welcome the New Year. Others stay up to make sure the old year leaves! Seriously, as you enter this New Year you can’t afford to let your past infect your present, or sabotage your future. That’s why certain things that refuse to be healed, must be forsaken and forgotten! There are people praising God in church every Sunday who lie awake in the privacy of their homes digging up bones, picking at scars and reliving old memories. You need to accept that some issues will never be resolved, and if you let them they’ll take up residence in your head.
Thank God Paul was honest enough to admit that he still struggled in certain areas. Unlike those with a pharisaical spirit who condemn others for doing the very things they do themselves, Paul says, “I know the law but…can’t keep it…sin…keeps sabotaging my best intentions, I…need help…I decide to do good, but…My decisions…don’t result in actions. Something…gets the better of me every time” (Ro 7:17-20 TM). “Thank you Paul” from the rest of us who mistakenly thought that once we became Christians there’d be no more struggles! Then he goes on to say, “Consider yourselves to be dead to sin” (Ro 6:11 NAS); “Just as Christ was raised from the dead…we also should walk in newness of life” (Ro 6:4 NKJV).
In other words, stop pursuing dead issues; admit them, quit them and forget them! Instead of struggling to change what can’t be changed, let God’s transforming power sweep through your life and sever the ties between you and all those tormenting thoughts from your past. Let them go today in Jesus’ Name!
Dewey, Good Morning. Can’t help myself! Hope to inspire a little praise and hope! Love, Karen
How can I praise God in one little sentence? Do I start with all that HE did for me yesterday or do I just praise HIM for all that I see today? But that’s not all; I need to praise HIM for what HE has prepared for me tomorrow!
So praise to God! Praise God for loving us so! Praise God for allowing me to say to you that God loves you and you are not forgotten! Praise God and thank God for the hope that HE gives above all things. Our LORD Jesus loves us and HE is our hope and HE has hands to help us!
Praise God for HIS mercy and grace in that we may fail HIM, but HE never fails us! HIS power is great…HE is above all of our awful things. God IS Good! There is no doubt!
Doesn’t that just make you smile? To know that God gives love, joy, peace and hope…The fruits of the Spirit guide us…and sin detours us; Praise God for by HIS grace, we have Jesus, who has sent the HOLY SPIRIT to help us!
There are no restrictions to come to God…but there are rules that we must follow to be in HIS mist. These rules are not a secret…but they are found in the Spirit. Seek God 1st above all things and these rules are made known to us!
So praise God for loving us all and providing a plan that works…God needs a pure and perfect heart…a heart that HE prepares and molds for us…We just have to do the work to get out of our own way! It’s usually not easy…because it usually involves telling our ‘self’ to stop it, overcome and get over it…Working to get out of our own way usually involves telling our ‘self’ to do something good anyway (even if we don’t want to)! That is why I say we have to work it! Not work at it…instead work it in the Spirit to overcome those things that hold us down.
We have a choice to trust God and allow HIM to change our hearts…God gave us a free will…but to live in the divine hope we have in God, we need to conform to an attitude of Jesus!
I am with you under God and as the LORD leads me, I proclaim that our hope is Jesus and by the power of God we are enabled to walk above our problems when we seek God 1st and live by HIS rules. We need to trust God, because we need to be under HIS control.
Our strength is in the LORD and HIS power is mighty. We can work it, and God can do it!
What is your problem today? What needs fixed? What is making you sad and keeping you afraid? What seems just too big to overcome?
We can show God that we trust HIM more!
I had written more, but nothing that God can’t tell you. Seek HIM 1st and live in the hope that God offers you! Remember that we are a child of the God most high!
Seek HIM and find HIM and what God can do is the most amazing thing to see…Love HIM….Trust HIM…HE is here with you…Do not doubt!
Love in Christ,
What a praise!
Karen Rowe….God is with us! Praise HIM…cuz HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!!!
Amen!!!
May the Strength and Peace of the Lord be with You and Yours!
Happy New year, Dewey Sharon and family
