Dear KKIM Family,
The Lord moved me to share this with you this weekend………In all times……….and especially times like this we need to remember this………..Former UCLA basketball coach John Wooden, one of the greatest coaches who ever lived, said, “Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”AMEN!!! WOW!!
Do not let the clouds of today prevent you from reaching sunny skies! Wooden focused on the journey, not the destination.Yet his work ethic and focus on things within his control earned his UCLA teams four undefeated seasons, and 88 game winning streak, and an incredible 10, yes 10!!!!!! national championships.
As you move forward in your daily walk with Jesus Christ, you need to remember that what happens IN YOU is more important than what happens to you!!!You can control your attitude in your walk with Jesus, but you have no control over the actions of others. The majority of the fear and stress that we experience in life is from things we can do nothing about. The skies may be cloudy and stormy today…………….but keep the faith, as those skies will clear.”Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”A great reminder in many ways for all of us………..Focus on the things YOU CAN DO……….NOT WHAT YOU CAN’T DOAmen
No matter how tempted we are to turn to our own devices, SURRENDER every thought, desire, and personal effort to the LORD.
Be still, and know that I am GOD. Psalm 46:10…………….Listen……..God is calling you now………listen…………be still…….Do you hear what I hear?
Merry Christmas Dear Friends, Dewey Sharon and family and all of us at KKIM
