Hi Dewey,
This is Gwen, dealing with the bladder/urinary problem. I had asked the Lord to show me and the doctors the problem and to fix it. Blood tests came back with hyperparathyroidism. It could be the problem….I’m praying it is, so I can get it fixed. Called the surgeon, but the soonest he can see me is Jan. 13th. They said I could call back everyday to see if there’s been a cancellation. Please pray I’ll be able to get in sooner and that this will resolve the problem. I need to get this resolved, quit suffering and get on with life.
Thanks and God bless, Gwen
Thanks for your Prayers KKIM family……..please keep praying for each other and our families!
Remember when your mind starts to race with negative thoughts turn toward God and pray!

One final note Frank Haley just sent this to me…………………enjoy………………
I thought you might like to see this note below from a missionary friend of mine. -0-“The harvest is ripe, but the laborers are few.” Matthew 9:37″I will enter His gates with thanksgiving…” (Psalm 100:4)What a joy it will be when we can truly walk through the gates of the eternal city, the NewJerusalem (Rev 21:10-27). When we all get to heaven this old world will be long gone (Rev 21:1-9). Nomore sin, sickness and death; no more trials and suffering. We will have arrived at the doorstep of “ourFather’s House” and settling in to that place that Jesus said He was going to prepare for those who believeon His Name (John 14:2). In that day we can enter His gates with thanksgiving and be forever gratefulthat Jesus was willing to leave heaven behind, become human and die a horrible death in full payment forthe sin of man. Jesus paid it all – for me, for you and for those who still long to hear His Gospel. This season I am very thankful that I am saved. When I reflect on the coming of the Pilgrims toAmerica, I give thanks that these refugees brought with them the Hope of salvation through the blood ofJesus. Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful that Jesus was willing to die.The Bible encourages us to give thanks to God our Creator. “It is good to give thanks to theLord” (Ps 92:1). “In everything give thanks” (1Thess 5:18). It is also a time to be thankful for HisChurch, the Body of Christ. It is through The Body that we are being built up in our faith and it isthrough the Body of Christ that the world must continually be confronted with the reality of the messageof sin – so that the world can understand why they need a Savior (Eph 4:11-13).I thank the Lord that He sent His children my way so that they could share with me the Word ofLife, the Gospel. It was through their faithfulness and the work of the Holy Spirit that my heart waspierced thirty-five years ago and I realized that I was the one who had sinned…it was I who fell short ofthe glory of God…and it was I who needed to cry out to the God of Mercy and ask Him to forgive me. Iam thankful that He heard my cry and washed me in the blood of His Son Jesus; and I am thankful thatHe has sealed me with His Spirit as a guarantee to me that I am His (Eph 1:13). I am very thankful thatmy God and Father is not willing to give me what I deserved (Col 2:13).“We give thanks to God for all of you” wrote Paul to the church in Thessalonica (1Thess 1:2).When Paul heard the report that this church was out doing the Gospel and through its faithfulness to thecommand of Christ congregations were spreading through the region and souls were being saved, he gaveall of the thanksgiving and glory to God (1Thess 1:2-10). This local church was equipping and trainingmissionaries and evangelists, sending them from town to town preaching the Gospel. The church of theThessalonians was an obedient church. Those who had been saved out of the world were filled withthanksgiving for their salvation, yet they did not succumb to the temptation to settle in and retreat fromthe world. Quite the contrary. This church knew that its neighbors were still living in spiritual darknessand that it had to take the Word of God to them that they might hear the Word and be saved (Eph 2:8).The Thessalonian believers knew from their life experience that their culture was the fruit of the sins ofmen. Through the Spirit and the Word they came to understand that the only way that they could impacttheir culture was to lead lost souls to Christ. And so they did the Gospel.I wonder if Jesus will be filled with thanksgiving when He sees me. Even though I can’t see Himright now, Jesus sees me. He knows my heart, my soul and mind, and He knows me better than I knowmyself. But I am wondering about that moment after I die, the moment I leave this life and find myself inHis presence. Will Jesus be glad to see me? Will He thank me for my fellowship with Him by faith, through prayer and the Word? Will He thank me for what I have done in His Name? I hope so. I dohope that I will hear Jesus say, “Well done good and faithful servant…enter into the Joy of your Master”(Matt 25:21). In any case, I look forward to the day when I can thank Jesus for all that He has done.
