How are you today????
Happy Thanksgiving!!! God Bless you all!!!
Sharon found this yesterday……think about it, “Seeing is not believing, believing is seeing”
We started preparations for Thanksgiving yesterday……..Sharon began cooking, I put out some Christmas decorations and last night we watched the movie, “Polar Express” a wonderful movie! We have to start early because of work schedules. We still don’t know how many are coming for dinner!
One thing I ask for when I am going to speak at a Church is the song book………I can’t hold a note for the life of me…..but I love reading the song book and absorbing the words into my heart and soul……….like this one from the Immanuel Baptist Church in Milan………….
To Worship, work and witness, The Good News spread a-broad, We magnify Thy mission, Church of the Living God……..
Thoughts for the day from Oswald Chambers………
Do I place more confidence in science than on Scripture?
More trust in human legislation than in divine justice?
More faith in good government than in a loving God?
WOW!!! That ties right in with what the Lord has been having me say………Do not put your faith in Man and a political party….put it in Jesus Christ………….put it in Jesus who came to serve not to be served..who came to wash the feet of others………Not a Political party.
Look at the mess we are in and how divided this country is by putting faith in Politicians and Political action committees!!!
Seek the Lord’s Will and not a Political Parties will!!! Have the heart of Jesus.
In the face of problems as they are, we see in Jesus Christ an exhibition of where our FAITH is to be placed………in a GOD whose ways we always do not understand.
When we seek the Lord’s Will in continued prayer we will get our answer. Give ourselves over to the Lord.
The one who lives by faith trusts that good things can happen because God wants good things to happen. Lewis Smedes
As Psalm 28:7 reads……….
The LORD is my strength and my shield, my heart trusted HIM, and I am helped.
This came to me when I was walking the dogs yesterday and praying……….
When we preach to God’s people we must be sure to preach God’s word and not our own word’s….we must pray before preaching or speaking for God………to make sure the words are of our God are not our own………we must leave our ego out of it….ego stands for EDGING GOD OUT.
We have been praying for Dr. Deb Gunderman’s Dad, Marlin………..here is an update……
My dad is now living with my sister in Indianapolis. He can no longer live alone so we are hoping that this will work out well. Thanks for all your prayers, Deb
Please keep this in your prayers.
Please keep Charlie Hickman in your prayers. The have found a mass in one of his lungs. Charlie’s wife Lavalle called to say they are much thankful for your prayers.
I got a phone call from brother Daryl Sunday he is doing better. Thank you for your prayers. I am praying about going out to Wisconsin to see Daryl in early December.
Clyde sent this to us……….A GOOD funny bone and the truth all in one!!!!

Here is a great note from Pastor Manny………a dear, dear friend of KKIM…….I PRAISE GOD FOR ALL THE PASTOR FRIENDS WE HAVE AT KKIM!!! Tom Lewis of Cross International was so impressed with how non-denominational KKIM is!!! He said it is such a blessing to be able to have a Radio Ministry that is Non-Denominational and serving all of God’s people. I GIVE ALL GLORY TO GOD!!!
Here is one of our AWESOME friends, Pastor Manny of the Secretary State’s Office……..
Dewey,
Thank you for allowing me to pray with your listeners yesterday. It was an honor and a pleasure! I shared with the Secretary and she wants you to know that she is deeply appreciates the support you have given her. Thank you for being a good friend and dear brother in the Lord.
You are also in my prayers and if I can be of any assistance, please don¢t hesitate to give me a call.
By the way, the General Election went smoothly and without any glitches. I have advised the Secretary to build a strong media campaign that educates the public about the many improvements we have implemented. Being that you are a media professional, any ideas and/or suggestions you might have on how we can further our outreach to the general public and Christian community are welcomed and appreciated.
If I do not get the opportunity to speak to you soon, I ask that the Lord grant you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving Day Celebration. For us as the Body of Christ, it should be in observance for all that our Heavenly Father has done for us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His Divine Holy Spirit.
I feel there are many issues challenging us as a nation. I strongly feel that we need to somehow bring an awareness to the Body of Christ and the Leadership for raising up a holy banner. The Bible refers to the banner as JEHOVAH-NISSI: “The Lord Our Banner.” Ex. 17:15. God on the battlefield, from word which means “to glisten,” “to lift up,” See Psalm 4:6.
If we are going to turn things around for the positive for our country, as a body, we need to make a stand for righteousness and beacon our message in a unified manner. Please pray with me that the Lord will quicken the hearts and minds of our church leaders and the people. It is very sad that for the General Election, there was very little unity and a lack of leadership effort nationally for making a stand.
Sincerely your Brother in Christ,
Manny F. Vildasol, MBA

A note from snowy Ohio…………
Hi Dewey… We have had our first snow here this week and its very, very cold. I am trying to slow down life and to stay focused with going back to work. I though life was busy before…what was I thinking? Life is good…in the perspective that God is in control and trying to keep in mind constantly what really matters. I wish you and Sharon a wonderful noisy Thanksgiving holiday filled with laughter and memories with all of your children and friends!!! Love you friend!!! Mindi
Great to hear from you Mindi! We have missed our Ohio connection!
Here are some Great MEMORIES!!!!
HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. (Nov. 22) – Betty James, who co-founded the company that made the Slinky and beat the odds as a single mother in the late 1950s to become a successful executive, has died. She was 90.
She died Thursday, said a spokeswoman for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
J.D. Cavrich, The Altoona Mirror / AP
For many years, Betty James ran James Industries Inc., the company that made the enormously popular Slinky toy. A member of the Toy Industry Hall of Fame, James died Thursday at age 90.
How about that!!!! remember the SLINKY??? It was so wonderful!!! It brings back such wonderful memories!!! It got Sharon thinking about other toys.if they are in the Hall-Of-Fame…….
Honey,
I wanted to know about: Lincoln Logs, Tinker Toys, Chatty Cathy, Betsy Wetsy, Mr. Potato Head, Cabbage Patch Kids, Barbie, Silly Putty, Legos.
Love you,
Sharon
Which ones were your favorites? Here is a note from Nik…………
Good morning friends of God –
We’re entering into the time period where the suicide rate begins to rise and with the economic situation as it is things will become more desperate. Search out those that need some extra comfort this and next month. Invite them for a meal and some fellowship. Let’s make this season one of true thanks and the real meaning of Christmas.
Think about this for a minute…If I happened to show up on your door step crying,
Would you Care?If I called you and asked you to pick me up because something Happened,Would you come?If I had one day left, to live my life;Would you be part of That last day?If I needed a shoulder to cry on,Would you give me Yours?Do you know what the relationship is between your two eyes? They blink together, they move together, they cry together,They see things together and they sleep together,BUT THEY NEVER SEE EACH OTHER…that’s what friendship is.Life is lonely without FRIENDS.It’s ‘world best friends week’. Send this to all Your good friends.Even me, if I am one of them.See how many you get back.If you get more than 3 then you really are a lovable person…
God Bless you all,
Dewey Sharon and family!
