Dear Family of Jesus,
Thanks for stopping by here at the CUP.
We are in day two of the Radio-A-Thon for Orphans in Mozambique. We are attempting to rescue 250 Orphans during our time on KKIM. Please go to www.mykkim.com for all the details, we need your help. We must hear the cry of the poor. Yesterday we had many Pastor’s on with us and also Cowboy Clarence! Our favorite Cowboy put up a wonderful prayer to our Lord AMEN!
My friend Jim from Cross International just gave me this fact: Your garbage disposal ate better last night than 2.8 billion people
Another stat from Cross Intentional it would take 80,000 Orphanages taking care of 800 Orphans each, to meet the need in Africa!
If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered. Proverbs 21:13
Please pray for these last few hours on air at KIKIM for the Orphans, for a POWERFUL movement of the HOLY SPIRIT, that many hearts will be moved to help rescue these Orphans in Mozambique!
We heard from people in Colorado and Oklahoma yesterday, that were listening to KKIM on line! PRAISE GOD! Can we hear from you today?
All it takes is a $68.00 one time gift to rescue an Orphan for one year! WOW! PRAISE GOD!
Please join me and Sharon in committing to this Godly effort.
Sweet Dewey,
I’m pregnant!
Found out via home test on Sunday. Due to my high-risk status, they got me in to the doctor on Monday, where they were unable to detect a gestational sac via ultrasound. The doctor was concerned about this and said perhaps it was a result of me having my dates wrong and that possibly I wasn’t as far along as I thought (although I’m fairly certain about the times) and that would explain why he couldn’t see anything, it was too soon.
He ordered a blood test to determine my HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels ~ he stated he was expecting to see them under 1,000, which would explain everything. My levels, however, came back at 2,900 ~ putting me exactly as far along as I thought I was, date wise, but also far enough along that he most certainly should have seen the baby; this made him concerned about the possibility of a tubal pregnancy ~ which of course is not a good thing.
That having been said, I feel absolutely fine (typically there is a lot of pain and other symptoms w/a tubal). More importantly, I feel good mentally, in that I feel a peace from the Lord about this. I soooo want this little baby ~ a sibling for my sweet girl, and of course, he will be dedicated to, and raised, serving our Jesus!
I had more blood work last night (they compare #’s to see how the pregnancy is progressing) and i’ll get those results as well as another ultrasound at 2:30 today.
Can you and your prayer warriors rally for me today? I want him to discover that sac and my baby’s beating heart when he does my ultrasound.
For God’s Glory Alone!
Taunya
My Buddy Frank Guy says, Dewey you love Cowboys, so you will love this from Bluejeans.com…….
About 15 years ago, my daughters wrote this poem for me…
He’s a blue jeans man from the olden days
He thinks things should be done certain ways
Men should be men not dressed up like girls
Wearing earrings and piercings and pink-tinted pearls
Men should grow out of being little boys
And leave their closets full of childish toys
Men should be men with a woman to love
That was sent here from God and the heavens above
He’s a blue jeans man with kids to guide
With structure and rules for them to abide
Men should be men wearing boots and jeans
Looking strong and tough and slightly mean
Yeah he’s a blue jeans man in modern times
Working for his family to earn those dimes
He’s a husband, a father, a brother, a son
But his life’s not over, it’s just begun
He’s a nurturer, a protector of the family he loves
What more could he give than his sweat and blood
Blue jeans men are few and far between
Our dad’s one of the best, if you know what I mean
He lectured, he taught, he showed us the way
His job’s not finished – That’s what you’ll hear him say
But even still, he is in our heart.
Amen!
Let us Teach and Preach on the Sermon On the Mount! AMEN! I am so excited in our Lord about the book Paul and Rene Dokken sent me! It is written by their Pastor Steve Hickey, Obtainable Expectations, I wish I had more time to write about it this morning, but I got to run to the Radio Ranch and finish the Radio A Thon.
People want answers, well it is all found in the Sermon on The Mount! AMEN!
We have really made the message of Jesus Christ complicated………it is all in the Sermon on The Mount.
Pastor Hickey wrote in my book, Matthew 6:8……..
Which is……Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him. AMEN!
Thank you Paul and Rene for having Pastor Hickey write me a note!
Pastor Hickey writes…….When Jesus said “everyone who hears these words of mine” he wasn’t referring, in specific to the Bible in general; He was referring, in specific, to the words that just came out of His mouth. He wasn’t speaking generally about the Word of God. He was concluding the Sermon on the Mount by putting the Sermon on the Mount a place of singular importance. He was explicitly saying the Sermon on the Mount is foundational for future success and stability in His Kingdom. Could it have been any clearer that we are to obey and build our lives on Matthew 5-7? Please read……….
My prayer is that you will drink this whole CUP of the Sermon on the Mount…….your life will change! AMEN!
Sharon and I are praying for you all this day and all days! AMEN!! PTL!! take time now and read and pray………
