Thank you so much for stopping by today for a CUP!
Jesus said, “Be careful what you are hearing.” Mark 4:24
WOW! last night was such a blessed evening! We played a doubleheader lost game one, by one run and won the second by a big margin! In the second game this 56 year old got to pinch run for a 36 year old!!!!!!!!!!!! We smoked em! I thank the Lord for the ability to get out there on HIS green grass and play the game! PTL! Hallelujah!
We continue to pray for rain, as our area has so much land going up in flames. Tonight on NM News and Views we will go live to Ruidoso, NM to get an update from our Dear friend Harvey who runs one of the radio stations there and also works in Emergency Management. We are on our way here in New Mexico to having nearly 350,000 acres across this great state burned up before the first day of summer. People in the know keep telling me some of this is because of poor management of our Forests. Bad Policy, they say. Harvey, I am sure will have more to say on this as he is in the Know on these matters.
Bonita Park Nazarene Camp and Conference Center, Dear to the heart of many has suffered fire damage………….this was posted on their Facebook page……..
Bonita Park has sustained substantial damage due to the Little Bear fire. Structures in the lower part of the campground appear to be useable. Until we are able to get onto the campground and assess the damages with the insurance adjusters and utility companies, we will not know the complete extent of the damages. We do know that there is currently no electric, no gas, no sewer or water.A decision has been made that Bonita Park will not be open for business through July 1, 2012.
After July 1st, we will re-evaluate this status.
Access to the grounds is limited at best. Please know that we are getting information to you as quickly as it is available to us.
We know that the future of Bonita Park (as well as the past) is resting in the hands of the God of the Universe. We know that he is NOT surprised by this and He will be faithful to bring us through it!
Thank you so much for loving Bonita Park!!!
Let us be on our knees often praying with FAITH for RAIN!
I get so excited in out LORD when I get an email like this!!!!!!!!!!!
WOW! Michael you encourage me! I was thinking of you when I wrote the CUP as I knew you are on a FAITH JOURNEY! Isn’t it exciting!WOW!
I am going to repeat something that I believe is so important…….
The seeds that fell along the path stand for those who hear; but the Devil comes and takes the message away from their hearts in order to keep them from believing. Luke 8:12
How does Satan take away God’s Word?
Through disappointing experiences, man made “Christian” traditions, human reasoning, erroneous beliefs we cling to.
“For with the heart one believes” Romans 10:10
I will leave you with this today. As My Daddy used to say this is where the rubber hit’s the road………by the way Flag Day which is June 14th is My Dad’s Birthday. He always teased us kid’s growing up that they flag was flown for his birthday!!!! LOL LOL! What a week we would have at home Flag Day with Downtown Windom all dressed up in the American Flag, Dad’s Birthday and then Father’s Day! Dad would cook us his great burgers and hotdogs on the grill! Thank YOU LORD for such a Godly Dad!!! Great memories!!! Dad went to heaven now over 20 years ago….What he taught me I carry with me this day and all days, same with Grandpa Caraway and Uncle Joe….Three Great Godly Men in my life..who I miss very much. Thank YOU LORD! hallelujah!!! PTL!
Often there is a time period that begins when we originally believe God for something specific and continues until the work is completed or manifested. This is the Critical belief period. It’s the period when what you are “believing for” hangs in the balance, we all have been there right? It can go either way, and it’s all according to your faith. Bevere says to people who are questioning why God did not come through for them, “Somewhere in the critical belief period, you believed more in the adversity than in God’s Word.!”
Oh my friends I thank the Lord for His discernment, I was attacked on all sides yesterday, but by Faith I persevered, we must realize that Satan is trying to bring us down each day. See it for what it is in God’s eye.
The seeds that fell in good soil stand for those who hear the message and retain it in a good and obedient heart, and they persist until they bear fruit. Luke 8:15
Look at yourself..are you bearing good fruit? Are you surrounding yourself with mentor’s that are bearing good fruit?
Notice the words in Luke 8:15………”persist until they bear fruit.” When you believe deeply, you will endure, withstand hardship, and persevere through nay adversity that opposes what God has revealed to you. This is why it is so important to hear His voice in our hearts from Scripture. Once we do, we should dwell on it, ponder it, focus on the Image painted by it, then speak it. AMEN!
Jesus told stories of fish to fisherman, stories of farming to farmers, stories relating to business and finance to businessman, and stories of weddings, family relationships, and other general stories to crowds. he did this so everyone could connect the truth to something concrete in their daily experience. And God does the same thing today for you and me—–He uses words to paint pictures of what He desires on the screen of our imagination. Since the Enemy and God are both contending for the screen of your heart and mind, this is the Spiritual warfare zone, for whatever fills the screen and is believed, that is what will come forth in our lives. The words we hear and heed on a daily basis will paint pictures on our hearts screen. This is why Jesus says, “Be careful what you are hearing.” Mark 4:24
What are you hearing this Day?
Is it in line with God’s Word?
What do you read and watch?
Satan speaks words into your mind of failure, defeat, poverty, sickness, hopelessness, inability to help others—–the list is endless. he delights in you seeing yourself as ordinary and unable to experience Godly change! I know this to be true, because I was once Lost! I have seen it in many, because they do not believe in Spiritual Warfare, many do not believe in Satan. Worry is his greatest tool because it is the antithesis of faith. Worry paints a picture, even plays out the movie on the screen of your heart before it happens. What you fear dominates your screen.
God does just the opposite. He speaks words that produce images of hope. This is why Scripture says of Abraham:
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be. Romans 4:18
We have reduced the word HOPE down to “maybe so”.When we say. “I hope so,” we really mean, “It probably won’t happen, but maybe it might.” That is not a Biblical perspective. The word HOPE in the Bible is defined as “a confident expectation.” Abraham believed in the hope, the vision, God had painted on the screen of his heart. because FAITH, Abraham called himself the “father of a multitude” before he and Sarah had a son in the natural realm. He believed the deed was done because God could not lie. This explains why the writer of Hebrews communicates……….
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for. Hebrews 11:1
PTL! Hallelujah!!!
Thiis is from the Whisper of God and tied right in with today’s CUP!!! PTL
Thought for the Day
“At times, stress and anxiety can wash over you like waves from a stormy sea. When you need an anchor to keep you steady – hold close to God. He will never let you be swept away.”

Today’s Word
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” (Isaiah 43:2-3 NIV)

Okay before we get to the Medical Bag with Dr. Joe, let’s get this FUNNY BONE that Sharon found…….
Those of us who spend much time in a doctor’s office should appreciate this! Doesn’t it seem more and more that physicians are running their practices like an assembly line?
Here’s what happened to Kevin: Kevin walked into a doctor’s office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Kevin said: ‘Shingles.’ So she wrote down his name, address, medical insurance number and told him to have a seat. Fifteen minutes later a nurse’s aide came out and asked Kevin what he had…
Kevin said, ‘Shingles.’ So she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Kevin to wait in the examining room. A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, ‘Shingles..’ So the nurse gave Kevin a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Kevin to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor. An hour later the doctor came in and found Kevin sitting patiently in the nude and asked Kevin what he had. Kevin said, ‘Shingles.’ The doctor asked, ‘Where?’
Kevin said, ‘Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload ’em??’ HOPE THIS MAKES YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD LIKE I DID… THAT’S WHY I HAD TO SEND THIS TO YOU….THESE DAYS WE NEED ALL THE LAUGHS WE CAN GET
Thanks Dr. Joe!
