Dear KKIM Family,
May the Peace of the Lord be with you and yours this Good Friday and Resurrection Day, Easter 2012.
As much of the World speeds past this day, like any other day……Let us be in prayer for this World.
Today’s Newspaper, TV, Radio will not headline this day, except the Church and Christian Media……
Let us quiet our minds and pull out our Bibles as we read………Be still, and know that I am God!
(1.) Let his enemies be still, and threaten no more, but know it, to their terror, that he is God, one infinitely above them, and that will certainly be too hard for them; let them rage no more, for it is all in vain: he that sits in heaven, laughs at them; and, in spite of all their impotent malice against his name and honour, he will be exalted among the heathen and not merely among his own people, he will be exalted in the earth and not merely in the church. Men will set up themselves, will have their own way and do their own will; but let them know that God will be exalted, he will have his way will do his own will, will glorify his own name, and wherein they deal proudly he will be above them, and make them know that he is so. (2.) Let his own people be still; let them be calm and sedate, and tremble no more, but know, to their comfort, that the Lord is God, he is God alone, and will be exalted above the heathen;
let him alone to maintain his honour, to fulfil his own counsels and to support his own interest in the world. Though we be depressed, yet let us not be dejected, for we are sure that God will be exalted, and that may satisfy us; he will work for his great name, and then no matter what becomes of our little names. When we pray, Father, glorify thy name, we ought to exercise faith upon the answer given to that prayer when Christ himself prayed it, I have both glorified it and I will glorify it yet again. Amen, Lord, so be it. 2. For his people’s safety and protection. He triumphs in the former: I will be exalted; they triumph in this, v. 7 and again v. 11. It is the burden of the song, “The Lord of hosts is with us; he is on our side, he takes our part, is present with us and president over us; the God of Jacob is our refuge, to whom we may flee, and in whom we may confide and be sure of safety.’’ Let all believers triumph in this. (1.) They have the presence of a God of power, of all power: The Lord of hosts is with us. God is the Lord of hosts, for he has all the creatures which are called the hosts of heaven and earth at his beck and command, and he makes what use he pleases of them, as the instruments either of his justice or of his mercy. This sovereign Lord is with us, sides with us, acts with us, and has promised he will never leave us. Hosts may be against us, but we need not fear them if the Lord of hosts be with us. (2.) They are under the protection of a God in covenant, who not only is able to help them, but is engaged in honour and faithfulness to help them. He is the God of Jacob, not only Jacob the person, but Jacob the people; nay, and of all praying people, the spiritual seed of wrestling Jacob; and he is our refuge, by whom we are sheltered and in whom we are satisfied, who by his providence secures our welfare when without are fightings, and who by his grace quiets our minds, and establishes them, when within are fears. The Lord of hosts, the God of Jacob, has been, is, and will be with us—has been, is and will be our refuge: the original includes all; and well may Selah be added to it. Mark this, and take the comfort of it, and say, If God be for us, who can be against us?
Billy Graham – On Good Friday, we recall Christ’s sacrifice

Q: Why do people call the day when Jesus was put to death “Good Friday”? My son said he didn’t think it ought to be called this, and I didn’t know how to answer him. — Mrs. M.F.
A: Your son is right up to a point; what could be more tragic than putting the sinless Son of God to death? Even Pilate, the Roman governor, publically declared, “I find no basis for a charge against him” (John 18:38).
But what appeared at first to be a tragedy was in fact a triumph — because by His death on the cross Jesus Christ purchased our salvation. We are separated from God because of our sin, and because we are sinners we have no hope of eternal life. God is pure and holy, and even one sin — just one — would be enough to keep us out of heaven. But by His death on the cross, Jesus Christ became the perfect and final sacrifice for our sins — and because of that, heaven’s door is now open to all who put their faith and trust in Him.
And that’s why we can call the day on which Jesus died “Good Friday.” In fact, it was the greatest Friday in the history of the human race, because on that day Jesus Christ won our salvation. At one time, the Bible says, we were “without hope and without God in the world” (Ephesians 2:12). But now we have hope, because Christ died for us.
Today, as Christians around the world celebrate what happened on that first Good Friday, may this truly become a “Good Friday” for you, as you open your heart and life to Jesus Christ. “To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12).

Six Hours, One Friday
Posted: 05 Apr 2012 11:01 PM PDT
“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Corinthians 5:21”
Six hours, one Friday. Mundane to the casual observer. A shepherd with his sheep, a housewife with her thoughts, a doctor with his patients. But to a handful of awestruck witnesses, the most maddening of miracles is occurring.
God is on a cross. The creator of the universe is being executed. It is no normal six hours. It is no normal Friday. Far worse than the breaking of his body is the shredding of his heart. And now his own father is beginning to turn his back on him, leaving him alone.
What do you do with that day in history? What do you do with its claims? They were the most critical hours in history. Nails didn’t hold God to a cross. Love did.
The sinless One took on the face of a sinner so that we sinners could take on the face of a saint!
PRAISE BE TO GOD!
From Adrian Rogers……….
Peace With God – Because Of The Cross
BIBLE MEDITATION:
“… having made peace through the blood of His cross.” Colossians 1:20
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
How can a cross bring peace if Jesus is the One hanging there?
At the cross, wickedness was not appeased. Wickedness was confronted.
At the cross, sin was not overlooked. Sin was atoned and paid for.
God’s greatest righteousness confronted man’s greatest wickedness, and righteousness won! Peace was attained through the blood of the cross.
Thank God for the cross! Thank God for Jesus!
ACTION POINT:
During this time of year, as you celebrate the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord, take a few moments to praise Jesus for the power and hope you have because of His resurrection.
THANK YOU LORD!

Two Nickels and Five Pennies
Here’s a cute story to make you smile. Never judge someone’s intentions too quickly 🙂
When an ice cream sundae cost much less, a boy entered a coffee shop and sat at a table. A waitress put a glass of water in front of him. “How much is an ice cream sundae?”
“Fifty cents,” replied the waitress.
The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied a number of coins in it. “How much is a dish of plain ice cream?” he inquired.
Some people were now waiting for a table, and the waitress was impatient. “Thirty-five cents,” she said angrily.
The little boy again counted the coins. “I’ll have the plain ice cream.”
The waitress brought the ice cream and walked away. The boy finished, paid the cashier, and departed. When the waitress came back, she swallowed hard at what she saw. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies–her tip.

When I think of Easter … I think of Scripture and what is God saying to us…I think of ultimate love…Please allow me to share what to me Jesus has done for us.. I hope this is a blessing to you as much as to me:
Luke 15:11-32
New International Version (NIV)
The Parable of the Lost Son
11 Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them.
13 “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. 14 After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. 15 So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. 16 He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17 “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! 18 I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. 19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’ 20 So he got up and went to his father.
“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 “The son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.’
22 “But the father said to his servants, ‘Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let’s have a feast and celebrate. 24 For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ So they began to celebrate.
25 “Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. 26 So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. 27 ‘Your brother has come,’ he replied, ‘and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.’
28 “The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. 29 But he answered his father, ‘Look! All these years I’ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. 30 But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!’
31 “‘My son,’ the father said, ‘you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”

Jesus In All Sixty-Six
BIBLE MEDITATION:
“But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5
DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT:
The thing I love about the Old Testament is the thing I love about the New Testament. The Old Testament and the New Testament both are the inspired Word of God. Don’t get the idea that the Old Testament has a message different from the New Testament. All of the Bible is about Jesus. If you read the Bible and you don’t find Jesus, you better go re-read it.
Somebody may ask if you have read the four gospels, and you can answer them, “I’ve read all sixty-six!”
From Genesis to Revelation,
• It has the same villain – Satan.
• It has the same hero – Jesus.
• It has the same purpose – to present salvation in no other name but Jesus.
ACTION POINT:
Read Isaiah 53. What are the prophecies that were fulfilled in the life of Christ?
From Darlene……
I found this while looking for a peom for Good Friday for a Church Bulletin . Darlene Quiring
A Good Friday poem what’s the big deal
aren’t all Fridays good followed by days off?
I am so glad it’s Friday a familiar refrain
an end to the work week time to unwind.
Yes, Fridays are good we look forward to them
but a Good Friday poem, what’s the big deal?
How ’bout we say Calvary, and an old wooden cross,
how ’bout we say Jesus on that cross suffering and death.
How ’bout we say Love giving His life for His chosen,
how ’bout we say salvation and eternity with God.
Wow! Good Friday explodes and is now quite huge,
now a Good Friday poem is a big deal.
Yes, Jesus the Christ, the Father, and the Spirit,
from eternity past gave us the Way.
The Way never changes always through Good Friday
’cause the God man, His crown of thorns, the sins of His chosen,
nailed to a cross on that Good Friday day.
A Good Friday poem that’s the big deal.

April 6, 2012. This is your day. Go ahead and rejoice in the Lord your God. I, as your God, have already seen ahead to this day and know that it will be a day of opportunity. What will you do with the opportunity? Some will waste this day in uncertainty and double mindedness. They will receive nothing from My hands. Their harvest and blessings will come from the on goings of misdirected words and their ruler the devil. Not so with you if you keep choosing Me all day long. Ask to choose My will at each opportunity. You are a faithful person. And with your faith, you will move mountains today. Believe and trust Me.

April 6, 2012. It hasn’t happen like you had hoped, but this is not the end of the situation. If you will just leave this with Me you will see that I am taking care of it. I know this will be hard to do. You are accustomed to being the one to whom people come. But do it anyway. I am showing My acts to those who doubt My involvement. And in fact doubt that I am anywhere, much less close to where they are. You have done what you can and this is good. Now be at rest and at peace knowing this is going to turn out very good.
Psalms 37:3-4 (AMP) “Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.” Bev Robinson

April 6, 2012. You are the Body of Christ. Are you going around tearing down or building up? Would you mistreat your arm purposely because it mistakenly knocked something over? Furthermore, would you cut off your ear because it heard gossip or curse words? How then can you completely sever, separate, detach yourselves from one another? Could some have felt led to leave your church because their needs were not being met? Is your frustration with others caused from selfishness or others not completely agreeing with you? Some are type A, others type B. Others just C how you behave. Perhaps that’s why some avoid church. Love Me and My many members!

Today’s Medical bag with our faithful Servant Dr. Joe!
Ahhhh, home. Time to unwind, kick off your shoes, and take a deep breath of . . . pollution?
Yep. Indoor air – in homes and offices – can be more polluted than outdoor air. And the average home contains hundreds of sources of worrisome pollutants, from cleaning supplies to carpets.
So how concerned should you be?
Research suggests that you’d have to breathe in unusually high levels of household pollutants for a long time to suffer serious health effects. But if you’re sensitive to chemicals and allergens, even low levels can trigger irritating reactions.
But your home should make you more healthy, not less. Put your pollution radar to the test, and answer these four questions:
1. Pungent formaldehyde can be found in which of these products? (More than one answer may be correct.)
a. Cosmetics and nail polish
b. Glues and adhesives
c. Pressed-wood products (plywood, particle board, and medium-density fiberboard)
d. Foam insulation materials
e. Mouthwash
f. Wallpaper
g. Wrinkle-resistant drapes, linens, and other fabrics
h. All of the above
The answer is “All of the above.”
While formaldehyde is a “probable” carcinogen, experts say the effect of typical home levels on cancer risk is low. Still, who needs it? And if you or your kids are sensitive to the stuff, you want to clear the air of it.
What you can do:
– Buy solid-wood products; antique furniture; glass; or metal, such as stainless steel. (If you do buy pressed-wood furniture or paneling, be sure it conforms to low-emission standards. Agency stamps that certify such products include ANSI, HPMA, CPA, NPA, HPVA.
– Pass on treated fabrics whenever possible.
– Check personal-care product ingredients for formaldehyde, and toss ’em if it’s shown.
– If you suspect levels are high — your eyes, nose, and throat are irritated; you have headaches; you are dizzy and nauseated — buy a test kit, or have a professional testing company test the air.
2. Which of the following household products is likely to contain other volatile organic compounds (VOCs), or chemicals that become gas at room temperature?
a. Air fresheners
b. Tap water
c. Freshly dry-cleaned clothing
d. None of the above
e. All of the above
The answer is “All of the above.”
VOC levels vary from home to home and room to room. If you painted a room in the past year, if you bought new carpet or furniture, or if anyone smokes in your house, you’ve inhaled VOCs. In fact, VOCs – also released by heavily chlorinated tap water and perchloroethylene (PCE) in your just-dry-cleaned sweater — are two to five times higher indoors than outside.
At high levels, you may feel dizzy, nauseated, tired, and uncoordinated. Your ears, nose, and throat may become irritated, and you may have a skin reaction. A study of young children suggests that high levels of VOCs in the home may be linked to asthma.
What you can do:
– Buy floor models of furniture and appliances that have had time to “off gas.”
– Buy solid-wood, glass, or metal (stainless steel) products.
– Let fresh air in rather than using an air freshener. Weather permitting, open doors and windows, and use fans to bring outside air in.
– Keep temperature and humidity as low as you can while still feeling comfortable; it can help decrease “off-gassing.”
– Do indoor construction and painting when you can vacate the house for a while or when it’s warm enough to open all the windows and doors.
– Buy low-VOC, air-friendly cleaning products, or make your own. (Go to www.cleanaircounts.org for recipes.)
– Use VOC-free or low-VOC paint.
– Store materials with high VOC levels (solvents, most paint) in a garage or shed, not in the house.
– Keep household cleaners tightly sealed when not in use.
– If your dry-cleaned clothes have a chemical odor, ask the cleaner to dry them properly. If it happens again, try a different dry cleaner, preferably one that doesn’t use perchloroethylene. Take cleaned clothes from the plastic wrap, and let outdoor air circulate around them for an hour.
– If your water has a strong chlorine smell, open a window or turn on the exhaust fan when taking a hot shower or bath. Chloroform is a by-product of chlorinated water.
– Have your home tested if you have sensitivity symptoms.
3. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in America. Where does it come from?
a. Radiators
b. Fluorescent lighting
c. Soil and groundwater
d. Wood-burning stoves or fireplaces
e. All of the above
The correct answer is “Soil and groundwater.”
Radon, a radioactive gas, is naturally released by minerals such as uranium and radium in well water, soil, and rock in certain areas, and by some building materials made from earth or stone.
When radon is in the soil beneath your house, it wafts in through cracks in the foundation, gaps in floorboards, and openings around pipes. Once inside, it can build up to dangerous levels. It’s estimated that high radon levels can be found in 1 of every 15 homes in America; in some parts of the country, which number jumps to 1 in 3.
What you can do:
Check the indoor air at the lowest level of your home with a radon test kit. For an additional fee (usually $5 to $25), the kit maker will analyze the results. Or you can have a professional do it.
Retest every 2 to 5 years or if you do any renovations, put in a new heating system, or install central air conditioning.
If radon problems are detected, have them fixed promptly by a qualified radon mitigation contractor.
4. Dust mites, pollen, dust, mold, bacteria, insects, and animal dander trigger allergic reactions and hay fever-like symptoms in sensitive people. Where do these irritants lurk in your home?
a. Carpets and rugs
b. Fluffy toys
c. Beds and bedding
d. Air-conditioning systems
e. All of the above
The correct answer is “All of the above.”
These biological bad guys are everywhere, including on pets and in the bathroom.
If you have respiratory complaints; eye, nose, and throat irritation; frequent headaches; or feel tired or dizzy, see your healthcare provider for allergy testing.
What you can do:
– Dust and vacuum your home, including upholstered furniture, frequently.
– Consider investing in a HEPA-filter vacuum, which improves air quality and reduces allergens.
– Don’t let moisture or humidity build up anywhere. Mold and dust mites flourish in warm, damp environments. If you spot mold, remove it immediately. Try to identify the source of the moisture and fix the problem.
– Use exhaust fans in the bathroom and kitchen to help keep humidity levels low.
– If you use an air conditioner, humidifier, or dehumidifier, make sure they’re well maintained and cleaned regularly.
The Lord is RISEN! Have a blessed weekend!
Thank you Dr. Joe! God Bless you and yours!
In the Love of Jesus Christ, Happy Resurrection Day!
