It started out like Dynamite at Valley View Christian Church Saturday morning…….here is a run down of Saturday’s Ministry activities..we share this as our Testimony of how God works in our lives…..
Praise God tremendous time in our Lord with all the guys at the Valley View Christian Church Men’s Breakfast yesterday! Thank you guys for the warm reception! What a great day in our Lord! Then off to the Heart Hospital where we prayed for Trudy Crum, prayed for healing from her heart attack and surgery and anointed her in oil and she go to go home!!!!!!!!! Prayed over Arnie who is partially blind and anointed him in oil and he is getting ready to go home, prayed over the two nurses who are looking after Arnie, nurses need our love and prayers, under constant pressure! Prayed over Richard who was being admitted because of circulation problems, anointed him in oil and he would not let go of my hand! Oh LORD thank you for your love and the love we share with each other. People are starving for the love of Jesus Christ, Let us be Salt and Light to the World! Let us proclaim the GOOD NEWS of JESUS CHRIST wherever we go! I share this with you today as my testimony of the LOVE OF JESUS for All people! For God’s Glory Alone! ps…Many more were prayed for at the Heart Hospital yesterday!

Dewey,
As you know I don’t feel worthy to have God speak to me but He apparently has.
Several weeks ago Dewey and I were having a conversation regarding God’s calling him to a greater ministry. Though I’m not worthy of this, God too has spoken to me regarding Dewey and Sharon. God immediately spoke to my heart that Dewey needs his radio ministry to go national. Specifically God told me Dewey needs to make his program available via satellite.
Also He has shown me that Dewey and Sharon may need to move out of the area as this expansion of ministry may take them out of New Mexico. I’ve been praying very hard that God make his plan more clear. I know that with technology a program can be live on satellite from virtually anywhere if you have the equipment to get the signal to where the satellite provider uplinks. So there is a financial need that God will make happen.
Most recently as Dewey and I pray and discuss his wonderful ministry there with hospital patients it became clear that God is calling Dewey to full time ministry. So it appears that God has revealed a second part of His Plan. National Syndication of a Radio Program and an hands on Spiritually Healing ministry both are so needed right now. Our country and our world are both in dire need of the Truth the Salt and the Light.
Please pray that God continue to reveal His plan. I know that in both cases there is financial support needed. As my friend Cathy tells me – If God orders it, He pays for it. Meaning that God will reveal a way to provide financial support for those who are in His will and in ministry. The Spirit will tough this situation and many – maybe even you- will feel compelled to provide some of the funding to bring God’s will to pass.
I love Dewey and Sharon I must tell you as the editor of Christian Radio Guide I’ve met a lot of Christian Broadcaster’s and I’ve met Ministers who are broadcasters. Dewey is the real deal… He truly is a Minister of the Gospel who happens to be a broadcaster.
I am so blessed that God brought us together at the NRB three years ago and I am even more blessed that He is in my life.

Define Yourself

“Define yourself through the hands and eyes of a true artist.”
As I closed the stall door in a public restroom, that slogan caught my eyes. It was from an advertisement for a plastic surgeon. Reading those words, I knew this doctor was tapping into longings every woman has: to be beautiful, loved and accepted by others.
But for most women, this is not reality. We don’t see our beauty or worth. We look in the mirror and only see faults. We allow others to define us.
Sometimes it is our culture. But oftentimes it is the very people we love…our parents, a friend, or spouse. Their words deceive us into thinking we are unworthy…a failure as a woman and even as a child of God.
Yet God created us to be women of strength and beauty, each with a divine purpose planned by Him before we were born. God alone has the right to define us. No one else.
There is only One true artist and His name is God.
God is the Creator.
After reading that advertising slogan, I felt a burning desire to know a woman’s true identity. The Truth I found in His Word was powerful and life changing. Rather than posting these truths on the back of a bathroom door, I wanted to share them with you.
You are:
• Created in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27)
• Fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
• Precious and honored in His sight. (Isaiah 43:4)
• Redeemed and forgiven. (Ephesians 1:7)
• A new creature in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
• Holy and blameless before God. (Ephesians 1:4, 1 Corinthians 1:30)
• Chosen by God. (1 Peter 2:9)
• God’s masterpiece. (Ephesians 2:10)
• Created with purpose to do great works for God’s Kingdom. (Ephesians 2:10)
You are God’s creation – beautiful, strong and created with a unique plan and purpose.
I don’t want you to rest your head on a pillow tonight without knowing and believing who you are in Christ. I have prayed that God would reveal to you who you really are – not who you are in your parent’s eyes, spouse’s eyes, children’s eyes, friend’s eyes, or in the world’s eyes, but that you would know who you are Jesus.

Get Ready for the Impossible

“He chose to give us birth through the word of truth …” (James 1:18a NIV)
God wants to use his Word to give you a fresh start in life.
Without God’s Word, we could never be saved. We wouldn’t be headed for Heaven. We wouldn’t know about Jesus’ death on the cross. We wouldn’t know about God’s purposes for our lives.
Without the Bible, we can’t know God.
God wants to give you all of that — but it starts with his Word. Through the Bible, God recreates our life. When I feel like I’m at the end of my rope, God uses the Bible to give me a fresh start, a do-over. The Bible calls it being “born again.” In James 1:18, the Bible says, “He chose to give us birth through the word of truth …” (NIV).
The Bible is often compared to a seed. Once the Bible takes root in your heart, it begins to sprout and grow and bear fruit. As God’s Word does that, God changes your life for the better.
Jesus says this in John 6:63 about his Word: “The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life” (NIV). God’s Word isn’t just words on page. It’s spirit and life. It’s spiritual power. His Word can transform society and transform history. It can do the impossible. It can change your life.
D.L. Moody, a famous Chicago pastor from 100 years ago, said, “The Bible was not given to increase our knowledge; the Bible was given to change our lives.”
How do you need your life changed? What part of your life do you feel powerless to change?
The Bible says the Word of God can change things that you cannot change on your own.
Make God’s Word a regular part of your life, and get ready for the impossible!

But upon closer viewing I found two other visible planets, Jupiter and Mars visible in the beautiful pre-dawn sky. Venus is not alone at all. On April 30 this year, six planets, including Venus, will align for a spectacular display of unity. Take heart. As the dawn approaches, Venus appears brightest just before the sun rises in the east. Today is your day. Everything and everyone you need is provided.

March 5, 2012. When I was in college, I took a class in communication. I was astonished to learn that eighty five percent of communication is non-verbal. The rest is verbal. In other words, talk is cheap. I hear the Lord saying, “Truly love the ones you’re with. When was the last time you laid your life down for a friend? Have you ever completely given your undivided attention to those you love. What sacrifices are you making to assure the ones you love, really how much you love them? Are you willing to forego your plans in order to achieve the greater need within another? Cease from striving and love, love, love.”
Ephesians 5:1-2 (MSG) “Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. March 4, 2012. Be careful that you do not lose your balance. It can cause you to fall. As one ages, doctors routinely inquire as to whether you have fallen recently. Falling often results in broken bones for the elderly. Healing of those bones can be painful and take a long time to restore. Staying physically active helps prevent developing a loss of balance. Therefore, each time you sense that you are beginning to lose balance, step up your exercise. It will do you good while also benefiting those who love you as you enjoy a prolonged and good life. This has been My promise to you all along – a long and good life. That is My part. Make sure you do your part My child.

GOUT is a common type of arthritis that occurs when there’s too much uric acid in the blood, tissues, and urine. Uric acid crystallizes when the body doesn’t have enough of the digestive enzyme uricase, which oxidizes relatively insoluble uric acid into a highly soluble compound at lower temperatures. The crystals look like a needle and literally jabs its way into the joints. The crystals prefer the joint of the big toe (the coolest of the extremities), but other joints can be vulnerable as well.
Gout is closely related to diet. Gout has been called “the rich man’s disease” because it’s associated with too much rich food and alcohol. But, the reality is that it affects people from all walks of life, most commonly men between the ages of 40 and 50. In fact, about 90% of the people who suffer from gout are male. Very few women develop gout; most of those who do are in their 70’s, when their estrogen is very low.
Medical Prescriptions Allopurinol (Zylorpirm) is often prescribed for gout. But there are side effects such as skin eruptions, inflammation of the blood vessels and liver toxicity. If there’s kidney problems, the person needs to be monitored very carefully. Also, Colchicine is another drug used to treat gout, but it too can have serious side effects especially when taken in the higher dosages and or for prolonged periods of time. Indocin (indomethacin) is also prescribed, but its side effects include head pain and confusion. Cortisone is commonly used for relief of an acute attack, but cortisone puts a heavy strain on the adrenal glands, which are already under stress because of this painful problem.
The best way to get an accurate diagnosis of gout is for the doctor to insert a needle into the affected joint, remove some fluid, and examine the fluid under a microscope for the lab technician to look for the characteristic uric acid crystals.
Some causes for gout:
– Little to no exercising
– Medications containing hydrochlorothiazide, furosemide and metolazone can cause gout attacks. These drugs are usually found in diuretics, or water pills, that are prescribed for hypertension and heart disease to help eliminate excess fluids in the body. A side effect of diuretics is a decrease in the amount of uric acid that is eliminated from the body through urine. A decrease in urination typically leaves more uric acid in the system, which may lead to gout. Salicylate, which is a main ingredient of aspirin and other analgesics, can also trigger an attack of gout. Levodopa, also known as Laradopa, has been shown to cause gout attacks in some people. Recently, other drugs have begun to surface as possible triggers for gout attacks, although more research is needed for confirmation. These medications include Lotrel, Pyrazinamide, Ethacrynic Acid, Maxzide, Nadide and Dyazide, among many others. There is also new evidence to suggest that combinations of a wide assortment of drugs can trigger gout attacks, making careful consultation with a physician an important part of managing gout.
– Thyroid problems
– Fried foods, roasted nuts, or any other foods containing oil that has been subjected to heat.
– The amino acid glycine
– Aspirin
– Fruits, due to the high fructose content will make gout worse, so no juices, pop, or anything with high fructose corn syrup
– High levels of insulin
– Alcohol, especially beer and wine
– Organ meats, fish, sweet breads (meats contain very high amounts of uric acid)
– High dosages of vitamin C
– A crash diet or fasting for longer than three days may result in increased uric acid levels
Some solutions for gout:
1. Lower bean consumption
2. Avoid taking high doses of niacin (over 50 mgs. Per day). Quick Note: Had a dear friend recently call me complaining of extreme big toe pain because his gout had flared up. I asked him if, among all the meds the medic’s got him on, he was taking niacin. He told me that his medic had him taking a prescribed THREE 250 mg tablets PER day! I told him to stop taking the niacin for a day or so and call me back. He did and the pain went away. To prove that the pain was caused by the excessive niacin dosage, I had him take just one 250 mg tablet. BOOM! His pain came back within an hour. My point is, don’t take more than 50 mg of niacin IF you have gout.
3. No shellfish, herring, mackerel, anchovies, mussels
4. No maple syrup, artificial sweeteners, sugar
5. Limit intake of yeast products, oatmeal, peas, spinach, dried beans, cauliflower, caffeine and breads
6. Enjoy foods like cheese, eggs, nuts, milk, green vegetables, rice, millet
7. Drink lots of water! That means to be sipping on water throughout the waking day: at least 80 ounces.
8. DMSO from a health food store can be used topically when applied topically. Helps to relieve the pain and reduce the swelling.
9. Cayenne pepper tea (refer to my previous article). You can make a cayenne paste to apply on the affected area: cayenne powder mixed with enough wintergreen oil to make a paste. May cause a stinging sensation at first, but with repeated use the pain should decrease dramatically.
10. Digestive enzymes (one of the best is Wobenzym N – take three, twice per day, 45 minutes before a meal) and Alfalfa (3,000 mg per day either in tablet or capsule form)
11. Consider homeopathic Belladonna for severe pain, Arnica for less intense pain, and Rhus toxicodendron for joint pain and itching. Use 3x t o12x strength and take one dose of each three times per day.
12. Fish Oil capsules three times per day.
13. Vitamin D3: 5000 IU one capsule with a meal
