Dear Dewey’s Daily Cup Family,
Good morning and God bless you in this day! Dewey wanted us all to celebrate with him in the LORD that Buffy is off Chemo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Praise God for all good and righteous things! Following Jesus, I have prepared this Cup for you today to prepare our hearts for what is to come … A REVIVAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT! …I have prayed the Lord’s Prayer, please pray with me before you begin …to prepare your heart to hear the message through the power of the Holy Spirit and the eyes of a child to receive.
Jesus implored a message to us in the Scriptures … a message of Power and Authority!
[Think of John 14:1 as Our “Do Not Call” LIST…]:
· “Do not let your hearts be troubled”… &
· …Do not lean on your own understanding.”
You may be thinking, “Awesome advice, but HOW…”? I promise you in the name of Jesus … Hallelujah to the Lamb of God … that God did not leave us hanging without knowledge and know-how … nor did He leave us powerless, but God has given us “a spirit of power, love and self-discipline (2 Timothy 1:7)”!
Read on…Jesus tells us how …
· “…Trust in God; trust also in me (John 14;1 …see also Proverbs 3:5-6).”
· “Trust in the LORD with all your heart…”
Again, you may be thinking, “Awesome, & I believe, but HOW can I control my troubled heart and fear… when I am afraid?” The answer is simple, FAITH! …and Praise God… you don’t do it alone!
To get thru that place of fear (in that dark tunnel)…to see what God already knows…
· “Trust in the LORD with all your heart…” Show LOVE like Jesus … DO Good like Jesus…
· …”and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6) like Jesus
· BE Unconditionally Faithful to God like Jesus! …know God’s Word like Jesus!
· Unconditionally Love others and Do Good ~ Like Jesus!
· Pray for others … as you also pray for yourself …Like Jesus!
· Love …the ones who have hurt you first with no real reason…Like Jesus loves us
…because of they do not know YET what you know …
Forgive and pray for others like Jesus and experience Peace and watch what God CAN do!!!
· When you don’t think you can … Do it anyway, because it pleases God and experience God’s power working in your life!
· Sacrifice money, sacrifice time, sacrifice selfish ambition for the glory of God and watch God do MORE for you… the sacrifice is pure and sincere …only because you want to be like Jesus and please God in all you do!
· Wait on peace, …walk away from things that cause disorder and Seek Peace
· Remember there are 2 kinds of wisdom …The Wisdom from Heaven is 1st of all pure (not double-minded about wanting God’s help…)
· And Experience God powerfully working in your life to do MORE good than you could EVER give away!
God didn’t say it is easy; HE said it is simple & POSSIBLE! When you are weak … simply remember & experience: HE IS Strong … Jesus is our strength when we are weak! Do nothing without the PEACE from God that transcends all understanding!
There is always a rest of the story that we can’t see until we get through to the other side with God, …so PRAISE God with a Grateful heart KNOWING HE will not fail you (Love never FAILS…)
Choose to replace Your “Do Not Call List” with God’s Word and APPLY Scripture to all things and simply Trust God and hang on to your HOPE in Jesus trusting God, because God is Love and Love never fails! Stand on faith (memorize Hebrews 11:1)
[Speed Dial 911 ~ Jesus Always Responds]
v “…in all your ways submit to him, …AND…
v …“and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:6
The Truth will Set You Free & Rescue you
Seek Wisdom from Above …God teaches in James 3:13-18
Timely for today, Dewey sent this to me this morning …as Sharon shares in the Cup:
Someone has written these beautiful words. They are like the Ten Commandments to follow in life all the time.
1] Prayer is not a “spare wheel” that you pull out when in trouble, but it is a “steering wheel” that directs the right path throughout life.
2] So, why is a car’s windshield so large and the rear view mirror so small? Because our past is not as important as our future. So, look ahead and move on.
3] Friendship is like a book. It takes years to write, but only a few seconds to burn.
4] All things in life are temporary. If going well, enjoy it, it will not last forever. If going wrong, don’t worry, it can’t last long either.
5] Old friends are Gold! New friends are Diamonds! If you get a Diamond, don’t forget the Gold! Because to hold a Diamond, you always need a base of Gold!
6] Often when we lose hope and think this is the end, God smiles from above and says, “Relax, sweetheart, it’s just a bend, not the end!
7] When God solves your problems, you have faith in HIS abilities; when God doesn’t solve your problems, HE has faith in your abilities.
8] A blind person asked St. Anthony: “Can there be anything worse than losing eye sight?” He replied: “Yes, losing your vision!”
9] When you pray for others, God listens to you and blesses them; and sometimes, when you are safe and happy, remember that someone has prayed for you.
10] Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles, it takes away today’s peace.
Thank you Sharon for sharing! Do not let your heart be troubled … Pursue Peace and remain in Peace as you remember # 10 from this list Sharon has been lead to share with us Today …
“Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles, it takes away today’s peace.”
I will leave you with Spoken & unspoken prayer requests
Dear Dewey, I’m sorry for not giving an update on my little 5yr old, Nephew Brayden. He is not doing well at all still. So many Dr’s are stumped by his symptoms. I have asked his parents to check with Saint Jude’s but nothing so far. He looks so bad it hurts to just see him. Poor little guy is just skin and bones. They have come up with a disease name that I wouldn’t attempt to pronounce. It is something between having the ‘Pins and Needles in your legs, but in his whole body, And Epilepsy.. So until they can figure it out they have him on several medications.
Our Lord knows. And I hope the Prayer Warriors will continue with me in Prayer for the little guy. Thank You Sam
Let us pray…
Lord we don’t understand, but we trust you and we hold on to our hope in Jesus Christ your Son, who died for us so that we can live. Father God, we cleanse our heart before you and submit to your will as we bring these prayer requests to you in the precious name of your Son Jesus Christ. We claim your Word as our own and thank you for the blood of Jesus who gives us new life and the power of the Holy Spirit for all things to come together for good. Father, You are the living God and we love you and ask you to touch Brayden with your healing hand … Lord Jesus we pray in faith and believe that by your stripes he is healed and the pain is gone from his little body. Holy Spirit annoint and hover over Brayden and heal his body from what man can’t do, but God can make whole. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
…and together we gently … hallelujah to the Lamb of God… and humbly sing to our Lord and Savior Jesus, who is the Christ the Son of the Living God as we lift up Brayden to our loving and powerful God who is our healer … Hallelujah … hallelujah … hallelujah …. HALLELUJAH… hallelujah …hallelujah, HALLELUJAH to the Lamb of God…To God be the Glory … Thank you Jesus…thank you …THANK YOU JESUS…
To God be glory … May we be in prayer in the Holy Spirit…And I will leave you with Scripture Romans 8:23-28:
“23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us[a] with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).”
I had a message prepared for today, and Lord willing, I will share this fitting precious story with you on Thursday, but for Today, this is what the Lord put on my heart to say. I hope it was a blessing to you. Today, we are preparing our heart. Looking forward to joining you through the month of February for a Holy Spirit Revival … beginning with inspiration on tomorrow from something Victor has shared from his heart!
God bless you in your Today! Read on down for the rest of Dewey’s Cup…

I called these announcements, because every ministry has a great announcement to make about the Gospel of Jesus to the world! Greater is HE who is in us … than He that is in the world! Our strength will rise when we wait upon the Lord…
We go through “gut-wrenching” things, but we would go through them anyway! I am thankful that in Jesus we are not alone, but we go through them with the power of God who is with us, for us and in us… We can go through our troubles KNOWING that we can trust God and trust in Jesus through all things… God is with us …just remain faithful to HIM {Don’t let go of His hand, until you can see where have passed through …}.
We pass through the valley to get somewhere greater! Remember that always…nothing in this world can compare to what God has planned for us!
Announcements from: This really spoke to Deweys’ heart yesterday …
What The Lord Is Saying Today Ministry …
February 4, 2012. You have worked your vineyard well. The fruit of the vine is pleasant to your eyes and stomach. Even the labor you invested was rewarding to you. I heard your testimony on more than one occasion of how much you enjoyed the labor. This was good to you and to Me. As you worked, My hand was upon you to guide and encourage you. This vineyard of yours has accomplished its purposes. I commend you. And now I am sending you back to the wheat and threshing floor from which you came. There you will be met again with success. Some may say the vineyard was a distraction. But I say it was a proving ground for bigger and better things than before. I am proud of you My child.
Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 (NASB) “There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink and tell himself that his labor is good. This also I have seen that it is from the hand of God. February 4, 2012. You started something that didn’t go as was planned. Now when other ideas come the seeming failure looms large in your mind. If you keep going failure is not failure, it is a good teacher. Don’t get on the blame or shame routes. The devil wants your mind on those destructive routes… these routes dampening your faith. Don’t allow that to happen. Get your mind off the people whom you think didn’t handle things well. Some keep their minds on other’s failures and ideas are stymied. I want your mind and heart not on failures but on ideas. Forgive! Bless! Keep inquiring of Me and keep letting the creative ideas flow.
Psalms 37:3-5 (NASB) “Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord; And He will give you the desires of your heart. February 4, 2012. With Me all things are possible. You have come up against some significant road blocks in your life. Because there has been little to no breakthrough in some circumstances you are facing, you have begun to feel depressed and discouraged. Begin to speak to those mountains in your life. Speak My truth to the cumbersome obstacles impeding your progress. Be of good cheer. I have overcome the enemy and so will you. Make positive confessions about the issues ahead. Refuse to give in to Satan’s plan for calamity in your life. Satan feels that he has you in a defeated posture. Rise up and take your rightful place as an heir.

What is “Thieves’ Oil” and does it Kill Toxic Black Mold?
You or someone you know has had an encounter with the dreaded “black mold” whose real name is Stachybotrys chartarum. I’ve had friends and patients who’ve had nothing but terrible experiences with this toxic menace. The effects are devastating not only on their health but also to their finances.
Black mold is an extremely challenging adversary, but there’s a powerful natural weapon that helps fight against mycotoxin poisoning in the form of natural essential oils. I’ll introduce you to “Thieves’ Oil” a bit later in this article.
The Bible and Toxic Mold
Excessive exposure to mold leads to adverse health problems. The effects of human exposure to mold is nothing new. Toxic mold dates back to the Old Testament:
“On the 7th day the priest shall return to inspect the house. If the mildew has spread on the walls, he is to order that the contaminated stones be torn out and thrown into an unclean place outside the town. He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scrapped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house
If the mildew reappears in the house after the stones have been torn out and the house is scraped and plastered the priest is to go and examine it and, if the mildew has spread in the house, it is a destructive mildew: the house is unclean. It must be torn down – its stones, timbers and all the plaster – and taken out of the town to an unclean place.
Anyone who goes into the house while it is closed up will be unclean till evening.
Anyone who sleeps or eats in the house must wash his clothes…” Leviticus 14: 33 – 57
Mold and its Health Effects
Molds can cause a variety of reactions in hypersensitive individuals ranging from allergic responses to neurological damage. Molds multiply in any indoor environment where excessive amounts of water and organic matter persist.
There are thousands of species of mold (fungus). But, not all of them are as toxic as Stachybotrys chartarum which is known as the toxic “black mold”. A lot of fungi do produce mycotoxins which are toxic mold spores. It’s these mycotoxins, especially the chronic exposure to them, that cause a wide-range of symptoms that can lead to serious illness and even death.
Molds, commonly called mildew (sometimes referred to as “black mold”) produce fluffy or powdery growth on surfaces. Toxic molds can grow on cloth, carpets, leather, wood, sheetrock, insulation, and on human foods, when moist conditions exist.
Common Symptoms of Toxic Mold Exposure
Mold can cause dizziness, headaches, and respiratory problems, as well as:
Asthma
Chronic joint pain and inflammation
Dermatitis
Eye and Vision problems
Memory and learning problems
Nervous system disorders
If the cause is not taken care of, these symptoms can evolve into serious neurological disorders and life-threatening illnesses. Mold is not something to be taken lightly. Get rid of the cause and you get rid of the mold. Get rid of the mold and you prevent or get rid of symptoms.
Where does the Mold Come from?
Most people who live in traditionally constructed homes might have some mold in their house. Over time there will be things like plumbing leaks, roof leaks, A/C compressors that condense and drip where they’re not supposed to, and disastrous things like flooding and storm damage that provide pathways for unwanted moisture to creep into walls and under baseboards. Toxic black mold is also associated with poor indoor air quality that arises after fungal growth on water-damaged building materials.
Mold on Your Walls
If you see mold colonies growing on your walls, you’ll need to hire a mold remediation specialist. But be sure to hire a company that does NOT use toxic biocides in its remediation plan as those can be just as harmful as the mycotoxins. So, be sure and ask first. Keep in mind that all those high-tech poisons that are used to kill the mold often don’t prevent it from returning.
What to Do
If want to do something “natural” to prevent the spread and proliferation of mold in your home or office, you may want to try Thieves’ Oil. It’s safe and non-toxic, and does not have any known contraindications. It doesn’t have the toxic after effects, and it prevents future mold growth.
You’ll never have to buy another scented candle to cover up musty odors, because the Thieves’ Oil goes after the problem at its root cause. Your house will smell wonderfully spicy with a welcoming mixture of cinnamon and clove.
The key factor in limiting mold exposure indoors is to prevent its growth through moisture control, maintenance, and proper cleaning methods.
History of Thieves’ Oil
In 15th century France, during the aftermath of the Black Plague, some “educated” thieves would apply mixtures of essential oils from wormwood, meadowsweet, juniper berries, rosemary, camphor, sage, cinnamon and cloves in a base of white wine vinegar to their clothes, go into the homes of people who had died of the plague, and still whatever they needed from the house. The antimicrobial properties prevented the criminals from contracting the plague and protected themselves from the toxic black mold that was associated with the dark times, thus the name “Thieves’ Oil”.
There are several companies I came across on the Internet that has a modern day recipe for Thieves’ Oil. They sell it as an all-natural antimicrobial agent with the capacities to kill airborne bacteria and mold spores, simply by diffusing the all-natural oil into the air.
A modern day formulation of Thieves Oil with the common essential oils has been proven effective against many different types of mold including black mold.
Does Thieves’ Oil Really Work?
In 2005, Edward Close, PhD, a mold remediation consultant with 30 years’ experience in the environmental industry, discovered that a single 48-hour continuous diffusion of the Thieves’ Oil blend into the air of a room with documented Stachybotrys chartarum infestation reduced the number of spores from over 10,667 per cubic meter to 13. And in another case, over a 72-hour period, from 75,000 to 0. According to Dr. Close, one treatment of the Thieves’ Oil continues to work for up to five months afterward in buildings. In thirteen out of fourteen case studies on Stachybotrys, Dr. Close found 100% removal of Stachybotrys mold spores after treatment with Thieves’ Oil.
According to research at Weber State University, Thieves’ Oil was found to have a 99% kill rate against airborne bacteria when diffused.
Where to get Thieves’ Oil
You can make it yourself:
– Equal amounts of eucalyptus, rosemary, cinnamon, clove and lemon. Mix with a base of olive oil. Put a tablespoon of each in a 2 oz. bottle and then fill the rest with olive oil.
– To make a larger batch in a quart jar following the same proportion method. Same ingredients, but measured out in different strength’s. Clove Bud Oil 200 drops, Lemon Oil 175 drops, Cinnamon Oil 100 drops, Eucalyptus Oil 75 drops, Rosemary 50 drops.
Or, you can go to the Internet and type in “Thieves’ Oil” into your search bar and purchase it already made which to use, you simply diffuse the oil into the air. Please note, I do NOT endorse any of the Thieves’ Oil web sites you may land on, rather I am simply giving you interesting information regarding “Thieves’ Oil” use on toxic black mold. I can only give my “PowerToBeWell” stamp of approval on products I have personally tested and this is not one of them to date, but perhaps in the near future I will. And when I do, as a reader of Dewey’s Daily Cup, you will know.
