For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear! It sucks the life out of the soul! And when fear shapes our lives, safety becomes our god. We worship the risk-free life!
The fear-filled cannot love deeply. Love is just too risky. No wonder Jesus wages such a war against fear.
Don’t be afraid. Take courage.
Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.
Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.
Jesus steps into the storm and asks, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?”
Fear may fill the world, but it doesn’t have to fill your heart! Hysteria is not from God. And Jesus doesn’t want you to live there! The promise of Christ is … God has not given you a spirit of fear!

Don’t forget here in New Mexico is Sanctity of Life Day it all starts at 10am at Plaza Park in Santa Fe. Frank Haley is on the air this morning on KKIM with all the details. This is an AWESOME day in our LORD where we come together to share with our State Legislator’s the Sanctity of life. Let us pray over this. This is a day that Catholics, Evangelicals and Protestants all come together!

8:00 am: Free Continental Breakfast-Knights of Columbus; Crispin Hall behind Cathedral till 11:00 am

10:00 am: Conference in Plaza Park; music, witness, and talks till Noon

12:00 Noon: Non-denomination Prayer Vigil in Plaza Park till 1:15 pm

12:00 Noon: 3 Bishop Mass at Cathedral till 1:15 pm

1:30 pm: Procession from Cathedral around Plaza Park to Roundhouse

2:30 pm: Rally at Roundhouse with bishops, pastors, and other speakers

3:00 pm: Visits to legislative offices in Roundhouse. Bring a rose or flower to give to Governor Martinez

to show your concern for life and encourage the passage of Parental Notification legislation.

Respect Life Office of Archdiocese of Santa Fe will be collecting baby goods et al for Crisis Pregnancy Centers; bring to Cathedral.

Please encourage use of buses from parishes and churches. Our Lady of Sorrows leased a bus. Parishes can combine with other parishes and Knights of Columbus may be able to offset expense. FREE seats are available on Our Lady of Sorrows bus. Call for details.

This is a family event! Babies in strollers encouraged to join us!

Bring signs or signs will be available outside of the Cathedral and at Plaza Park. No signs in Cathedral.

My phone rang at lunch time yesterday it was Pastor Bill Ruhl and he had the shocking news that Dr. Deb Gunderman had passed away at 2am. I had to call Bill back and make sure I had heard him correctly. Dr. Deb did a Radio program on KKIM for 2 years called. “Walking In the Way” She walked into Heaven yesterday at . Dr. Deb was an AWESOME witness to us all in the love of JESUS CHRIST. She walked the talk. Below I have posted the announcemnt a few years back when Dr. Deb was first going to be on the air with us. She was just 59 years of age at her passing. I sure will miss Dr. Deb, she was an AWESOME friend in JESUS!

Now as I was finishing up the CUP this email came…..I have to tell you I see many miracles each day when I am typing the CUP…..satan has been attacking me as I write this to you this day, this day when I write this CUP of LOVE for JESUS CHRIST..to show HIS love……Spiritual Warfare happens right in my office…….down to my fingers to my mind………I pray as I type to you.I say this only to witness to you that Spiritual warfare is REAL!
