Dear KKIM/KARS Family,

Pastor Ray and Becky thank all of you for your prayers!
May God be with you and yours this day and all days!

Oh my friends, please drink this whole CUP………..and pass it along to others……..
Let us join Max Lucado…….
God has given a son to us.…
His name will be Wonderful Counselor,
Powerful God … Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
Every Christmas I read this reminder that came in the mail several years ago:
If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent an educator. If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist. If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist. But since our greatest need was forgiveness, God sent us a Savior.
Christmas cards. Punctuated promises. Phrases filled with the reason we do it all anyway.
He became like us, so we could become like him.
Angels still sing and the star still beckons.
Isaiah 9:6 proclaims, “God has given a son to us. His name will be Wonderful Counselor.”
Powerful God.
Prince of Peace.
The wonder of it all is that…
He loves each one of us like there was only one of us to love.
Have you climbed to the top and looked over the ridge of your knowledge? The endless ranges of God take your breath away. The Words of John Piper
I Pray you are being blessed by the Ministry, What The Lord is saying like Victor!
Hi Dewey! Just a quick note to say thank you for allowing the gift of prophecy to flow freely in the CUP. “What the Lord is Saying Today” has been a great addition. The gift of prophecy, which the Apostle Paul calls the greatest gift and that which builds up the Body most, is sorely lacking in our churches and on Christian radio today. We get hour upon hour of teaching and preaching, but where’s the prophesying? I know it scares a lot of people but God’s Word says we need it. Always have and always will, till we meet Him in the clouds. Please keep His Word and words coming. Maranatha!
Victor
Than you Victor! The Lord is also showing me that one of the greatest lie’s making the rounds in America is that the War in Iraq is over! The Lord has shown me that it is far from over…We are in a World War.
The Headline in the Albuquerque Journal says, “It’s Over”
Far from it.As Chuck Colson says in his book, “The Faith”, The Christian West is under assault by twin challenges of secularism and radical Islam—-whose roots have some unsuspected likenesses. Only through Christianity, I believe, can Western Europe and America meet these desperate challenges.
Colson goes onto say…Surveying the press-coverage over the last couple of years makes it clear Christianity is reeling from a bruising and perhaps unprecedented attack by aggressive atheism. What’s really at issue here is a dramatic shift in the prevailing belief of Western cultural elites; we have come into a postmodern era that rejects the idea of truth itself. If there is no such thing as truth, then Christianity’s claims are inherently offensive and even bigoted against others. Tolerance, falsely defined as putting all propositions on an equal footing—-as opposed to giving ideas an equal hearing—-has replaced truth!
WOW! Great Word’s of wisdom from such a Godly man Chuck Colson. Colson was struck down during his years in the Nixon Administration and then accepted Jesus Christ and the Lord has used him as a watchman on the Wall since then….we must pay attention to this Man of God.
The challenges of atheism and radical Islam could not come at a worst time for the Church, because most Christians DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY BELEIVE!!! Many do not want to be bothered with what I am sharing with you this morning!
How can a Christianity that is not understood be practiced?
And how can it be presented in its true character as peace, freedom, and joy?
How are skeptics to understand Christianity’s positive aspects?
Even Evangelicals, known for their fidelity to Scripture, have not been exempt from postmodernist influence. Gallup and Barna polling show’s that the Majority of evangelicals, whom Barna calls “born-again Christians”—-do not believe in absolute truth. Sixty percent of American’s can’t name five of the Ten Commandments; 50 percent of High School seniors think Sodom and Gomorrah were married!
Let us continue to share the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Let us not give up!
Let us be Salt and Light!
We have much work to do in the Church!
Let us not water down the Message of Jesus Christ!
My prayer this Christmas is that more and more Christians will return to the absolute truth of Jesus Christ! In the Name of Jesus, AMEN!
For years here at the CUP we Preach on the Holy Spirit…….here is a message from Shona Neff on how the Teachings have affected her……
Dewey,
I’m loving your emphasis on the Holy Spirit. I am always saddened when I meet Christian who do not understand His ministry.
I am partnering with a friend in Missouri in the hopes of enlightening people about His work. As part of of our project we started a page on Facebook called “It’s Kraisy Time”. All the comments we post shine on the Holy Spirit. Hopefully, it’ll help people unfamiliar with Him begin to see how He works. If people already know what He does, hopefully they will find our words like balm over their Spirit.
Just thought I’d share 🙂
Blessings,
ShonaGod Bless you Shona!
If your not in contact with Hurting people and praying with them..you are not stretching your arm’s out enough for JESUS! AMEN!
Yesterday a friend of the CUP contacted me and shared that he had attempted suicide after losing his job. His sister was able to stop it. So many people, are suffering from such thoughts.
We shared with you last week that Frank Haley’s daughter Meagan was threatening suicide. She is stable at this time. Frank thanks you all for your prayers.
Kathy Robbins was contacted by two people with such thoughts. We are awaiting an update from her.
We must reach out to others……..We must meet people where they are at. We must not expect people to walk through the doors of our Church’s!
I invite you to please join me on Facebook. Go to www.facebook.com and friend me. We are very active during the weekend and make a call out for prayer for others and share the Word’s the Lord is giving me on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pastor Leonard Navarre and his lovely wife Diana have been with Diana’s mother in the Hospital most of the weekend. Opal Dunaway is having lung problems. Please pray over this situation as Diana and family members have to make medical decisions for their Mother. Diana is an AWESOME daughter….having taken care of her Mother for years! Just like a daughter and son are to! Diana is a Shining Light of JESUS! Please pray on this situation……..It is very hard right now for Diana.

December 19, 2011. You have done well indeed in this life. It is good that you have allowed My laws to teach you and bring you to salvation. This was your beginning with God your maker. You have since received the grace of My new covenant and all the grace that goes with it. I am pleased with the way in which you embrace My instructions for your life. Your heart stays full of thanksgiving and joy. I can see My grace and truth shining from your eyes. Your face is a witness of My anointing upon you. Light shines forth from your inner being. People around you are drawn to Me. Rejoice with Me as I rejoice over you.

My grandchildren have teased me about the way I fish when I take them fishing in the boat. When a fish bites my lure, I set the hook so hard they think I am about to topple out of the boat. On one fishing trip Rebekah got behind me. I set the hook so hard and with such force I knocked her out of the boat and the reel out of her hand. I told her to grab the reel and not let it sink. She can swim like a fish. “No matter what is going on around you. Keep your mind from sinking by setting it hard on things above.” Colossians 3:1-3 (NKJV) “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” Bev Robinson – Has this ministry blessed you? You can yield to Me immediately and taste the rewards of obedience, or you can choose to delay the blessings I have for you. It’s your choice. I will not impose My will upon you. However, I love you enough to allow you to repeat the same mistakes again and again until you yield to Me. Have you stopped and taken the time to realize you are circling the mountain for the umpteenth time? The times, settings and situations have been altered a bit. These are My attempts to remind you once again of a better way. Allow Me to transform you. December 18, 2011. Our gracious host pastor and his wife took us through probably the most spectacularly Christmas decorated parts of their city we have ever seen. At one intersection of streets, there were three police patrol cars with emergency lights flashing. Many police officers were directing traffic much like an emergency of some kind. On the busiest streets, people were out of their cars delighting in the lighted decorations. During all this, the radio in the truck we were in was playing the most incredible Christian music I have ever heard. In high spirits we rejoiced and praised Jesus that this is the time of year we choose to celebrate His birth. The Lord says, “Be in high spirits and glory before Him!”
Psalm 68:4 (AMP) “Sing to God, sing praises to His name, cast up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts-His name is the Lord-be in high spirits and glory before Him!” Ras Robinson – Has this ministry blessed you? If you walk in fear you will waste much energy that you can be using. If you give into the temptation to walk in excessive fear you will look back and see that there was no need. If you have to fear…fear Me. Fearing Me causes you to stand in awe of Who I AM and What I do. Work with Me to turn your temptation to fear into resolve to stand strong. I do not nor will I ever punish you for My pleasure. I only discipline you for your good and to make you stronger in future times of adversity. Isaiah 41:10 (AMP) “Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice.” Bev Robinson – Has this ministry blessed you? Emergency Need in Philippines
On Friday a major tropical storm, Typhoon Sendong (also called Washi), hit the Philippines. Reports so far tell us that more than 650 bodies have been recovered with over 1000 people still missing, many of them children. One report we heard is that entire villages had been swept out to sea.
Children along the riverside had to flee for their lives on Friday night. Now they try to make sense of the mess around them. |
In two of the hardest hit places, Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro, we have more than 200 sponsored children. We’ve talked by phone with two of our pastors and have had e-mail communication with others. As best we know now, all the sponsored children survived, but many of them lost everything in the floods and high winds that came in the middle of the night while most were sleeping. The pastor in Iligan City said the ones living on the riverside all had to flee for their lives.
Boyet, one of our sponsored children in Iligan City. Happy to have survived. We rejoice that all 123 of our sponsored children in Iligan City survived. |
Many of you sent swift and generous donations. Thank you. We’ve already sent money to pastors for food and water for the victims, which is still the immediate need. Our pastor in Iligan City said they also need blankets and clothing. The children will also need new school supplies and uniforms and shoes. One pastor in Cagayan de Oro used the money we sent to get Christmas for the sponsored children to give them emergency help for their needs. We will send more for those needs and also replace what was intended for Christmas. Of all times, the kids will need a special Christmas, it is now.
We have sent and are sending immediate help for food and water. Other needs will come later. Would you like to help us meet this need? If you can help, send your money to Ministry to Children. We will make sure what you send gets to our pastors for the children and their families.
Thank you for your prayers for those affected by this tragedy.
Let us PRAY!
