Is an overflowing cup full? Absolutely. The wine reaches the rim and then tumbles over the edge. The goblet is not large enough to contain the quantity. According to David, our hearts are not large enough to contain the blessings that God wants to give. He pours and pours until they literally flow over the edge and down on the table . . .
The last thing we need to worry about is not having enough. Our cup overflows with blessings. From Max Lucado

Yesterday I spent a wonderful time with Pastor Steve Smothermon of Legacy Church. Oh my I am thankful for Pastor Steve and all the folks at Legacy Church. We spent three hours together in fellowship and prayer! Steve is such a blessing, he prayed for Sharon and Buffy. I also met Pastor’s Kelly, Tony, and Bruno. Bruno is 88 years young and still serving! My dear friend Kathy Garcia, who is Pastor Steve’s assistant greeted me at the door, Kathy is such an angel. Met folks who just love NM News and Views and our TV program!
Steve said this, “There are only two things that last forever, the Word of God and you and I will live forever, we will live in heaven or Hell forever, and we have committed ourselves to live with our Lord.”
AMEN!
That is how important it is for us to carry out the Great Commission and reach others for Jesus so they can live forever with our Lord and not live in hell.
I pray more will Preach on heaven and Hell!

Confession:
God is speaking to me now, saying, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.” He is watching over His Word to perform it. He is the Lord that healeth me. He is healing me now. This Word contains the ability to produce what it says. He is the Lord that healeth me. He is healing me now. His Word is full of healing power. I receive this Word now. I receive the healing that is in His Word now. healing is inherent in God’s nature. God is in me. My body is the temple of God. My body is the temple of the Lord that healeth me. God is bigger than sickness and Satan. God is dwelling inside of me now, healing me now. The Lord that healeth me is my Shepherd: I do not lack healing. My body is in contact with the Lord that healeth me. My body has to respond to God’s healing life and nature at work in me now. Healing is in God and God is in me. I thank you, Father, because You are my Healer and You are healing me now.
Pastor Steve also gave me a healing CD……Oh thank you Steve….I am listening to it this morning as I write this CUP! Much peace in God’s Word!

Pastor Steve Smothermon mentioned to me about F.F. Bosworth’s book, Christ the Healer. Steve agreed it is such an AWESOME work on healing. Victor Martinez, myself, Pastor Jim Montoya and Pastor Mark Tross are reading the book now and I am sharing with you my study of the book.
Here is a note from Victor on, Christ The Healer…….
Men, if you haven’t already, read Jonah 2. Bosworth references “lying vanities” in Jonah 2:8 to describe our physical symptoms while waiting on the Lord for healing. But read the entire chapter for an example of the prayer of faith and assurance of answered prayer in advance of the answer. Job says he prayed to the Lord “out of the belly of hell”, from “the bottoms of the mountains”, which are great descriptions of praying while in pain and despair. While still in the belly of the great fish Jonah knows the Lord has heard him, makes declarations of faith and offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Consider that there was no tangible evidence to support this faith other than Jonah knowing and believing God’s word and character. Sure enough, after Jonah’s demonstration and confession of faith, God answers the prayer and delivers him. What a great lesson on healing!

Let’s get a prayer update from Kyle Martin!
Hello, hello…
I just wanted to share a quick update on Janae – and thank you for praying for her.
Today she got the results to her petSCAN that was taken on Tuesday – this was to scan her body for ANY trace of Cancer – it came back clear! She has no trace of cancer, no questionable spots, no nothing. Praise the LORD!
Her next step is to continue with the infectious disease doctor. That will be next week. She is still on bed rest, still feeling crummy – nausea, swollen lymph nodes, head aches, lathargic, fever, cold chills….those persist. But the fact that there is no cancer is a huge relief.
I’ll keep you updated … but for now we are rejoicing on today’s news!

F.F. Bosworth writes…..
Faith must rest on the will of God alone, not on our desires or wishes. Appropriating faith is not believing that GOD CAN but that GOD WILL. Because of not knowing it too be a redemptive privilege for ALL, most of those in our day, when seeking healing, add to their petition the phrase, “If it be Thy will.”
A Corrected Theology writes Bosworth is…….
Among all those who sought out healing from Christ during His earthly ministry, we read of only one who had this kind of theology: This was the leper, who said, :Lord, if Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean.” The first thing Christ did was to correct his theology by saying, “I will, be thou clean.” Christ’s “I will” canceled his “if”. This added to his faith that Christ could heal him, the fact that He would!
This morning I pray this upon Janae, Sharon, Buffy and all those in need of healing! In the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!

A Bible Read-a-Thon will be held across the nation this Saturday, September 10, 2011. The nation will read through the Bible in remembrance and as a blessing.
In New Mexico our state’s portion will be read at 2:00 p.m. at the State Capitol (Old Santa Fe Trail and Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, NM).
The commemoration is sponsored by The New Mexico National Day of Prayer. Please join us this Saturday at the Round House.
