Some teach that we earn God’s favor by what we know (intellectualism). Others insist we are saved by what we do (moralism). Still others that salvation is determined by what we feel (emotionalism).
However you package it, Paul contests, . . . salvation comes only through the cross—no additions, no alterations.
Please pray for us as we go through changes here at the CUP, that is why we were late yesterday and having to do a test. Many that were wanting the CUP were not getting it on a regular basis, if at all. Jannetta is working so hard to get this all working, please keep her in your prayers! Thank you to all those who inquired “If I was Alright ” because a CUP had not gone out in three days! Your love is so much appreciated!

What an evening of fellowship yesterday on the softball field! WOW! Great time with my teammates from Heights Christian! We won one and lost one in a doubleheader, the loss came by 1 run!

Satan has blinded many, including Pastors, Church leaders, and Church members.
Dr. Kyle Martin on his program yesterday on KKIM 5:30am and 4pm, said, “A new Barna Poll show’s 46 percent of born again Christian’s do not believe Satan is real!”
Now there is one of the reason why, we are at where we are at!!!! So I guess 46 percent of born again Christians do not believe in the Bible. We, the Church are much of the blame for the state of the world.
Let us get this update from Leslie and Kevin and Karen……I had one person tell me after reading Kevin’s first letter, she could identify with it because of her Mother’s condition.This is one reason why I love you all here at the CUP, we share and pray and cry together……..You help people when you share……..you sure do..your story helps many others, I see it everyday, that is why I encourage us all to be vulnerable!

Thank you for your continued prayer support. Karen is in hospital after nearly losing her on Friday. God is still on the Throne and all is working together for good…

Also, please pray that Karen’s biopsy slides make to MD Anderson in the next couple of days so that their triage team can review her records and slides and confirm they can intervene beyond what UNM CC has done. We continue to trust God and pray for His healing to be breathed into her ravaged body setting her free from this evil menace. We pray for His Will. We pray for peace, power, and self control over fear (2 Ti:7).
