Good Morning Friends! It is wonderful to be up at 3:30am writing to you on this day! It is such a blessing to get up and pray and read……….seek the Lord’s Will for this day and what to share with you.

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. Col 1:10

Oh My! I would memorize that verse, I would tape that to my frig! How is your walk coming along with the Lord? Are you bearing good fruit in your life? Are you seeking knowledge of our Lord?

Good questions for US ALL!

Good Morning Dewey…wonderful message today. I was just curious and was able to find 458 references to faith in the Bible. Makes you think…Come on people, get out there and exercise that “Faith Muscle” today (and every day)! Blessings!

Let us open up Today’s CUP with this story that I shared with you a week or so ago, but this time in Dwight’s Word’s…….

Dwight titles this, “How God Saved My life”

My name is Dwight A. Brown, I am an AFLAC agent with 40 years of service. I called on one of my accounts (American General Media, KKIM)to meet with a new employee on Monday July 11, 2011., in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I met with the new employee, his name was Justin, Justin was a fine young man I enjoyed meeting him, I mentioned that I was tired, he asked if he could say a prayer with me, I agreed and he prayed for my wife and I that we would have a safe trip to Farmington, New Mexico that day. I then met with my good friend Reverend Dewey Moede to help him with a claim, after we finished the paper work he asked me if I was alright, I told him that I was breathing a little heavy but that I was fine and that I was going to Farmington, N.M. that day. He asked me if he could pray with me, he prayed with me and after the prayer he said, ” Dwight, you can’t go to Farmington today, GOD told me that you have to go to the hospital right away. Promise me that you will go to the hospital, do not go to Farming!
ton.” I promised Dewey that I would go. I picked up my wife from a friends house and told her what Dewey said. We went to Presbyterian Hospital emergency room, they took me right in and run an EKG and other tests. They found out that I had an abnormal EKG. The Doctor said I needed a stress test as soon as possible, they squeezed me in the next day for the test, That night at 10:00pm the Doctor called me at the hotel and said I had to be in the hospital at 9:45 the next morning for a PE exam, where they go thru the groin and into the heart, they found out that I needed a Pace Maker, they installed the pace maker right away. The Doctor told me that I was very lucky to have been in Albuquerque when this happened or I might not have made it. I told the Doctor about Dewey and how GOD sent me there. The Doctor replied that GOD has a special plan for me. I feel so blessed for what happened. Thank You GOD and Dewey for saving my life. Dwight

I so much appreciate Dwight’s message, as it show’s once again that God speaks to us, and also uses us as a vessel for HIS Kingdom. Dwight called me again yesterday to thank me for saving his life…..It was our LORD……I was just the vessel, just like Justin was and is as he prayed for Dwight, to share what the LORD was telling me. About 10 years ago I was at lunch with Roger Dibble here in Albuquerque, many of you know Roger, he has been a friend for several years in our Lord., Roger did not look well, I was praying for him as we ate and I told Roger, that after we have lunch or you can go now, but you must go to the Hospital as the Lord was telling me Roger was in danger. He went to the Hospital and later that night his wife Sue called me crying and told me that, “You saved Rogers life!”, no not me the LORD! Sue went on to tell me that Roger was going to have heart bypass surgery in the morning. All Glory to God as Paul says! My point my friends, is that we do hear from God, The Holy Spirit moves in our lives, The Holy Spirit is the Messenger. When we are firmly Established in Jesus Christ we hear from Him!

When God talks to you, He invites you to cooperate with him to either speak into the lives of others on HIS behalf or help them in their time of need.

In my studies and prayer I have learned from Many Men and Women of God , who have lived such AWESOME lives for God that they risked their lives and reputations because they believed God asked them to do something unusual or unexpected in order to stop or start something that they had no strength or ability to do on their own. They would tell you that when God talked to them, they rarely used their natural abilities but were required to believe beyond what they could see, and this is FAITH!!!! FAITH!!!!!

It is very hard to stop a Man or Women who has heard from God!!!!!

I was telling Pastor Steve Smothermon last week that a man told me, Dewey, I have never heard from God! I was sad about that, because this man is a Church going person……..Pastor Steve said that this man may need to be Born Again! If you are not hearing from our LORD, Let me know I will pray with you.

One thing I want to say RIGHT NOW is this from Dr. Larry Crabb!!!!…”Most of us live years determined not to look too closely into our soul.”

WOW! yes, many are afraid to do that! Oh my friends, look closely today into your very own soul……….and pray………pray for the LORD to reveal HIS plan for you, confess your sins………oh my!!!!!! it will be a start of a renewed journey with our LORD!

As I have said many times, God uses the least of us for HIS purpose.

Man can really mess this up and say this and that and get out of the Spirit,and do things not of God, that is when the flesh and ego take over.

EGO stands for Edging God Out!!!

I cannot explain all this to you…I am just a common man…..trying to be a servant of our LORD………it is my Faith that carries me on……..I am here almost everyday to encourage us all to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and WONDERFUL things begin to happen through that relationship, things that you would never dream of! But we must be Established and Strengthened in our LORD and nothing else, we must not be of this World!

What I would like you to do now, is sit back and listen to this wonderful Word of God from Dr. Donald Barnhouse………it fit’s today’s CUP so wonderfully, but you need 25 minutes to listen to it……so save this when you have that time…..you will want to listen very closely to this message and shut out the NOTHING NOISE of the World……..part of the problem we are facing today as the Body of Christ is to get peoples attention and get them to listen to God. When I have looked over the stats the last several years for KKIM radio, people spend about 2 1/2 hours listening each day which makes sense because our programs are long form, and the same stat holds true when you look at those who are listening to KKIM on the Internet. I PRAISE GOD for that…..as once people get introduced to God’s Word and feel welcomed they stay longer…..Lives begin to change…….We must get away from the quick fix or just a simple conversation, we must spend time with people and let them know we really care about them. They become Established and Strengthened in our LORD…..what powerful words Dr. Barnhouse uses……Established……Wow all sorts of things come to my mind! What are you established in?….This Country was established by God…….I am Established in God by God! I am Strengthened by God! I am strengthened by God’s Words…..By the way this was sent in By Dr. Joe Fawcett, thanks Dr. Joe you are such a Dear friend!

Also, just finished one of his books, “The Invisible War”. This is the best book I’ve ever read on the conflict of good against evil … and I’ve read a lot of them!

Hello Dewey,

I have a prayer request for a very special person, RJ’s therapist, Kevin. This godly man has been counseling RJ and helping RJ emotionally and spiritually. Well, Kevin was given devastating news that precious wife and best friend has only weeks, perhaps months, to live.

I know God can do anything and am believing for a miracle for this godly couple.

We are praying for Kevin’s wife, for Kevin,for the family, Doctor’s, nurses and all!

Leslie was also sharing with me by Text message yesterday about her son RJ! We have been praying for this young man for a long time. PRAISE GOD! I get a charge when people will come up to me and say, “You never hear from me, but I pray over all those on the CUP!” PRAISE GOD! Here is the Text message I got from Leslie about her son RJ who from his car accident went through over 30 surgeries and is still recovering…….Here’s what Leslie said, Just have to pass along this praise report. I am looking at RJ with a complete smile. Dr. Jim Slaman donated a temporary front partial and built up all his front cracked teeth. His colleagues will be donating a root canal and permanent from implants. We are talking thousands of dollars and many more blessings. God is amazing!

PRAISE GOD! Please keep RJ and the whole family as they go through recovery from this accident! What a gift from the Doctor and others!!! PTL!

Please pray for Pastor Ray Franks brother in law who has a health problem…….more later……Lord knows all, just speak to our Lord on behalf of Ray’s brother-in-law.

Please pray for Mike Gibson, who is a pray warrior here at the CUP!
