“Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God.” 1 Peter 1:17, The Message
Each life is . . . a story to be written.
The Author starts each life story, but each life will write his or her own ending.
What a dangerous liberty. How much safer it would have been to finish the story for each Adam. To script every opinion. It would have been simpler. It would have been safer.
But it would not have been love.
Love is only love if chosen.
The words of Max Lucado.
Love that verse……”Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God….WOW WEE!!!! 1 Peter 1:17…….
Makes me think how DEEP is our relationship with God? The most important relationship we are to have. is with God..How deep is yours?
The following is from Charles C. Ryrie in his book, Balancing The Christian Life…..Oh my friends I just can’t wait until you read his words..Oh My!…….read on please……..Keep these words close to your heart!
Too often messages on the spiritual life focus on crises experience in the believer’s life. The exhortations of such messages normally call for some crises decision. If a Christian hears such sermons year after year, either he becomes insensitive to the constant ringing of the alarm bell, or he associates spirituality only with crises situations. Admittedly, we often need calls to decision and certainly spiritual principles should be applied in the crises of life. But it is equally true that since most of our time is spent in the routines of life we ought to apply spirituality in these areas as well.
The basis for Christian’s judgement is faithfulness, and that is why “it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful” 1 Cor 4:2. It is also true that most Christians activities are comprised of routine affairs. Therefore, it is mostly in the area of the routines of life that faithfulness is required. Have you ever noticed that when Paul summarized the Christian’s conduct he related to it to the ordinary activities of life: “Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” 1 Cor. 10:31. It would be almost unnecessary for him to have said something like this: “Whether then, you pray or witness, do all to the glory of God.” We are more naturally thinking of the glory of God in these matters than in eating and drinking. Thus it is the routines of life (as well as the crises) in which a spiritual person will exhibit faithfulness to his Lord. And there are often the most difficult areas.
AMEN! WOW WEE What words of wisdom!
Men are falling in record numbers in our Government and Courts because of the darkness, Just late yesterday here in New Mexico one of the most Powerful Judges in our State, The State District Court’s top criminal judge, Pat Murdoch in Bernalillo County found himself in Police custody on charges he raped a prostitute who had come to his home.
It is just another case of corruption in high places here in New Mexico.
It is because man has forgotten the word’s of Paul, “Whether, then you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God.”
Many who call themselves Christians do not apply this to all areas of their life.
Wherever you are reading this CUP, your Town, City, County, State has corruption! It is time as Pastor Steve Smothermon said, “For the Church to stand up and be a voice!”
We have another New Mexico District Judge Mike Murphy who has been charged with bribery, solicitation and intimidation of a witness.
We have an Attorney General in this state, Gary King that stands by and let’s Corruption run rampant.
As Pastor Larry Moss said, “It seems Gary King is protecting his Democratic friends.”
In response to that Janice Arnold Jones who is running for Congress said, “His silence (Gary King),says a lot.”
Let us be the Salt and Light, and let us shine the light on Corruption and remove from office those that are friends of the darkness. Let us give our County back to God.
We pray for those that are friends of the darkness, Satan, that they will come to know Jesus Christ, we pray that they will see the Light of Jesus! In the meantime we cannot have these people making decisions for our Country, Our State’s, Our Counties, Our Cities, Our Schools, Our Children…….They must be removed from office!
These are the words the Lord has given me this day……….
In the Love of Jesus Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
