Leonard was sharing with me that he used one of the postings in a sermon. I hear from time to time that Pastor’s use some of the CUP in their sermons. What a blessing, that is why we are here each day, to serve, serve you all in doing what God say’s to share with you. Wanell has been such an encourager, we all need to be encouraged. Your Pastor needs to be encouraged, your Husband, your Wife, your children, your co-workers…….we are to encourage each other in our Lord. We are to have the Heart of a Servant. Let me share with you a miracle at yesterday’s Revival in Los Lunas……….I posted this last night on Facebook…….. Brothers and Sisters in Christ I come humbly to tell you of a miracle from the Revival today in Los Lunas we prayed over an elderly lady in a wheelchair I anointed her with oil prayed and prayed God told me to tell her Do you want to walk? prayed more God had me ask her again if she wants to walk, she said yes, she got up and walked with no assistance and smiled big Read James 5:13 For Gods Glory Alone In James 5:13 it reads……. Is anyone among you suffering? he should pray. Is anyone cheerful? he should sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? He should call the elders of the Church, and they should pray over him after anointing him with olive oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The intense prayer of the righteous is very powerful. James 5:13-16 My life is changes forever in my Lord for what I witnessed and prayed for over this lady. I very humbly tell you that like James, I now more than ever Identify myself as a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ. I also posted this……. Raton, NM — Firefighters in northern New Mexico believe today could be critical in getting a handle on the out-of-control Track Fire. As of last night, the fire near Raton has already burned 27-hundred acres and was at zero-percent containment, while a portion of Interstate 25 was closed between Raton and the southern Colorado town of Trinidad. Some evacuation orders were made as a precaution. Officials say they’re hopeful winds will die down today but rugged terrain has so far made it difficult for some fire engines to be in a position to save homes in the area. >> The huge wildfire in eastern Arizona is now ten-percent contained. (Springerville, AZ) — The huge wildfire in eastern Arizona is now ten-percent contained. Yesterday, firefighters said they were finally making real progress battling the massive “Wallow Fire.” The blaze has scorched nearly 450-thousand acres since it began May 29th and remains the second-largest wildfire in Arizona history. More than 30 homes and commercial properties have been destroyed, and more than three-thousand are threatened. Firefighters conducted a “burnout” fire near the town of Luna, New Mexico over the weekend to help keep the Wallow Fire from crossing the border into that state. About 100 homes in New Mexico have been evacuated as a precaution. Meanwhile, Forest Service officials are letting residents who were evacuated from fire-scarred Springerville and Eagar, Arizona return to their homes at their own risk. Fire officials say air quality could be a danger for those people. They are recommending evacuees only expose themselves to the smoke-filled air for brief periods of time. Air quality is expected to keep getting worse along most of the Arizona-New Mexico border. Thank you Bill for that report. There are over 4,000 Firefighters fighting the Arizona wildfire. Let us continue to pray for rain. One more story from the Revival………. A man walked his bike through the area in the Park where we where holding the Revival and as he walked past he was yelling, “This is———————–, and he walked further and was still yelling, “This is——————–, God did not give us a Spirit of fear……….I followed the man over to the restroom. I introduced myself and quickly determined that this poor man was so full of anger, lot’s of anger. We may feel like we have to yell back at folks like this, but no, that’s what they want……show them the love of Jesus, but do not fear in presenting the case of Jesus. He told me I was crazy for believing in Jesus, two other men came up from behind, I don’t know if they were concerned for my safety or what. I let him spew his word’s forth and told him Jesus loves him and I will pray that his anger leaves him, he told me that the Church had ruined his life. Many have been hurt by the Church. We do not meet anger with more anger…..we let God move us and God will guide our witness. As Dad used to say, “Don’t pour gas on an already burning fire.” The other thing that God is so putting on my heart is more than ever I see Christian struggling in marriage. This is what God has shown me, stop interpreting the marriage yourself. Is God in thoughts like: She is going off with her old boyfriend, I know God has someone else for me! WOW, that is a statement where one is playing God. Or, the one, we don’t have anything in common anymore, or I am very angry and I don’t know if I can hang in there anymore, or the one from a friend, she is having an affair but I am not going to tell her husband….. All these comments have come from people who describe themselves as Believers in Jesus Christ. Or how about the married couples that go to counseling, but go to separate councilors and never the same one! All this is not in God’s Will! God’s plan is simple…..let us keep our eye’s fixed on Jesus Christ and HIS Word. Chuck Swindoll, who is on KKIM weekdays 6:30am and pm writes in his book on Paul, The Man of Grace and Grit, In the midst of severe suffering, He gently whispers, “My grace is sufficient for you.” But I don’t know if in the midst of the storm that many are listening to God….it’s like many Christians become deaf during the storm and go off on their own free Will. I have preached for years that you need to have a solid foundation in Jesus Christ to withstand the storms of life. Swindoll continues…As with Saul, His grace supplies more than we need to endure whatever it is that threatens to undo us. His grace is more sufficient than your strength.His grace is more sufficient than the advice of any trained counselor or close friend (though God uses both). His grace is sufficient to carry you through whatever your own, unique “thorn” may be. His grace ——that’s the ticket! If you are going through a storm right now in your Marriage or any other challenge……. James Chapter 1 tells us to consider it pure joy when we face trials because testing of our faith develops perseverance. This is for all of us………… People are like tea bags……. If you want to know what’s inside, drop them in hot water! Nothing reveals the true heart of a person like a disaster! When your UNDER FIRE—–UNDER PRESSURE—–What kind of person are you? What is revealed? WHAT COMES OUT OF YOU WHEN YOUR PUT TO THE TEST? Build your foundation in Jesus Christ, Reinforce it each day by putting the Armor of God on. Ephesians 6:10-11 Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. That is how we need to start our day with prayer, listening to God and also reading His Word……every morning you must start your day like this, otherwise you will be swallowed up by THIS WORLD! Are you hearing from God? if not email me. James 4: 7-8 Therefore submit yourself to God, Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you…….. James 5:7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. May you……..you and yours be with God this day and all days..may you bathe in His love.
