Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May God be with you this day……..
Gary said last Monday….”Where was my Cup Saturday and Sunday?”……..so thankful for that Gary, that you look forward to your CUP…as God moves……..here is what is on our heart and soul this day……….
Please grab your Bible and turn to 1 Cor 3: 9………that is the theme for the CUP today……..we are God’s co-workers……..
I have been studying on prayer and faith through God’s Word and R.A. Torrey.
Google R.A. Torrey, read about him……….read what he teaches on prayer…….we all have much to learn on the POWER OF GOD!
I have sought out the council of many Godly men and God has sent me to His Word. I am soaking in what God has told us about faith and prayer.
Many, including myself do not pray with enough faith!
I really believe all of us need to be in God’s Word everyday for an hour or more.
I ask, What can be more important?
Ben Lucero told me Faith is like a light switch! It’s either ON or OFF! No in between!
The Lord has also showed me most of us are not being BOLD enough in carrying out the Great Commission.
Most of us need to spend more time with God. God should be our priority over everything else, our Family, our work..God has to be first, without putting God first everything lese suffers.
We cannot be Godly Husbands, Wives and Fathers and Mothers, and workers without guidance from our Lord everyday minute of the day.
When we are in the Will of God….He guides us every minute..The Holy Spirit is with us…….
All what we do must center around God.
If we are in God’s Will we will be protected and guided…….if we are out of the Will of God, we will simply wither.
We must start off our day with God.
We must pray……….or as Gary Milliron told me, we must soak for an hour each day with the Lord……..reading His Word, Praying, and listening.
We must let the Word of God SOAK into us………become part of us.
God then will show you much.
I just finished writing the forward for Radio Evangelist/Author Karen Rowe’s book, The Train Whistle, The Lord gave me the words after months of prayer……..I wanted to get this done sooner, but the Lord showed me the words this morning. I am so blessed to be able to write the forward! (I only hope Karen that my forward to your Godly writing is worthy!)God is doing much in my life, so many open doors……I am praying my way through all……..I also continue to write for the Windom paper and now I am praying about an article for the largest magazine for Christian Radio and TV. I have been asked to share about the Ministry of KKIM/KARS and Christian Radio news and programming.
This all brings to me these thoughts………
Ask yourself this day….are you in the Will of God or are you just kinda flying by the seat of you pants each day?………………or maybe you “feel” you are in the Will of God……sometimes all the time?
Get into the Will of God 24/7…….through Faith, Prayer, and Listening to the Holy Spirit.
I did not intend to share this morning, but the Lord moved be to……I pray before I type or say any words…….so this is what the Lord had me share with you this day.
I also have to share with you that my heart and soul is with all the folks down south, all those terrible storms………tornadoes now extreme flooding……….
I just got this from the Andy Griffith fan club………..
Editor’s Note
Welcome to the second issue of The eBulletfor 2011. We had planned to have this issue ready in early April, but the severe storms in the Southeast had other plans. We lost power for a few days and had some storm damage to clean up at HQ in Nashville in early April. And then, about the time we were back at full speed, our webmaster lost power for about a week when the tornadoes ravaged Alabama and other states at the end of the month. We’re up and running again and hitting on all cylinders (no more puh-ding, puh-ding sounds). To help in the disaster relief effort, TAGSRWC as an organization has donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund and to the Mobile Medical Disaster Relief Foundation (MMDR). Through our Weaver’s Dept. Store, we’ve also sent a few dozen Mayberry T-shirts to Alabama on an MMDR truck. (You might see a few more people than usual in Alabama wearing Barney Fife these days, though there were already bunches being worn there, so it might be hard to tell!)In the aftermath of other disasters, such as ongoing ones in Haiti and Japan, Weaver’s has put together grab-bags and earmarked Hal Smith scripts, etc., to help raise funds. With those grab-bag and script fundraisers already underway, we’re just making direct donations from Weaver’s sales to disaster relief this time around.
As far as we’ve heard at this point, TAGSRWC members and their families are all safe after the storm, but many suffered damage. As it turned out, members of several TAGSRWC chapters had arrived in Tuscaloosa from out of state for the annual Eagles’ Wings fundraiser shortly before the big tornado hit there. (High winds from the tornado damaged their hotel, but they were O.K. inside.) The severity of the devastation is almost impossible to comprehend. And our thoughts are with all those who have suffered losses during this spring’s natural disasters. |
We must be in prayer…..you see they have not forgotten about the people in Haiti or Japan…..the news media has moved to other places, hot spots around the world, Now the flood gates are opened in Louisiana flooding many miles of land……taking with it much……….In Syria many civilians killed or being held in prison camps…….In Egypt Muslims killing Christians and burning down Church’s……..And we learned on Friday the count now is 30,000 people killed in Mexico since the Drug War started……..
And this is just the tip of the ice burg as to all the war’s and disasters going on in the World.
I think the World has become “NUMB” to all this, including much of the Church of Jesus Christ.
Many are just going about their day trying to survive.
We as Pastor Leonard says, we must pray fervently, We are praying everyday at 4:30 on KKIM/KARS. I am praying that this Country will have prayer everyday at High Noon!
Please also keep Juliet Tross in your prayers, she is going to have to go through several surgeries for her kidney stones, and now her thyroid, and more tests. Pastor Mark and Juliet covet your prayers.
Please also keep praying for Scott Chaney and his wife Marcie and son Steven. We have been praying for months for Scott’s healing, yesterday he was opening his eyes and moving his fingers!
We must keep in mind that all in God’s time not ours……I have prayed on things for years and months…….
In the Love of Jesus Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
