PRAYER NEEDS

Dear KKIM/KARS family,

Philippians 2:4 teaches us…….

Let each of you esteem and look upon and be concerned for not (merely) his own interests, but also each for the interests of others.

Let us pray this day for Pastor Paul Holt who gives much of himself…so much……..Him and his lovely wife, Josie, they drive in every Saturday for NM News and Views and Ask The Pastor from Magdalena, NM……..That is just not up the road from the Radio Ranch either…….I think it’s closer to the Arizona border than Albuquerque!!!!!

Anyhow on the way back from the Radio Ranch on Saturday Pastor Paul’s car’s engine blew up! Pray for repair or a used one….something Pastor Paul and Josie can afford.

Paul and Josie give much of themselves to the work assigned to them by Jesus.

Let us pray for Pastor Ray Franks wife Becky’s health.

Please pray for Sharon’s  health, my lovely wife.

Please pray for Juliet Tross’s health also, Juliet is the better half of Pastor Mark Tross.

 Here is a letter I just got from Leslie on what I posted this morning on grieving………..

Dewey,

Thank you…As usual your message this morning touched my spirit.  But, this morning it reached a part of my soul that I’ve been trying to keep covered…the grieving part that is in need of His touch.  When I was on your station several weeks ago, you said something to me that resonates in my mind every day.  You told me, “Leslie, you are still healing through this loss and I’ll pray for you…”  And, boy, you couldn’t have hit the mark better.  The pain of what our family has experienced over the past 15 months is something that I haven’t let myself truly feel and grieve through.  I’ve been letting the day-to-day routines of family and work cover what the Lord, and only the Lord, can heal.  I, once again, have to totally submit to him.  I did it when I heard about the horrendous accident that nearly claimed the life of my son.  But, this morning you reminded me, that submitting totally, wholly to Him must be done continually.

Thank you.  You are a true brother and friend.  You and your family are such a special part of our lives and we love you very much.  I pray that your journey through your grief is filled with the peace and joy that God alone provides.  Thank you for doing what a lot of my closest friends haven’t (not because they don’t care, but because they don’t really see it as an issue).  God bless you my friend.
