Last night on NM News and Views Pastor Larry Moss was with me and we covered everything from the sever drought and water problems in New Mexico, wild fires in Texas, Donald Trump for President, too new weapons coming out of Sandia Labs. The U.S. Government has walked away from Israel, The situation in Lybia, The Budget, Mitt Romney, Michele Bachman, rising gas prices,$5.00 by May? Predicted Food shortage in America? Plus the situation continues to worsen in Japan.

I boast in the Lord, we have the best news dept in New Mexico! Others say it, we do it!

We cover the World through a Biblical lens. The Lord has given us this platform for HIM and HIS people. We have such a blessed network of news sources including dozens of Pastors. PRAISE GOD!

We do more local/New Mexico newscasts than any other station in New Mexico.

Solid news is so much needed in these times……..

Larry Moss has been a mentor of mine since I came to New Mexico, he is known as a the Father to many Pastor’s in this state and we are so thankful for our relationship with him. He has been on KKIM for nearly 40 years. Larry called on KKIM listeners to support the programs on the air, to give financially to the programs and to the station during these times. He said it is so important to have KKIM on the air everyday in New Mexico, no other station is brining forth the information like KKIM, no other station covers the news like KKIM. As Frank Haley says, “For God’s Glory Alone.”

The sad thing for us is that only about 10% of the people who listen to KKIM ever give to the station, that is the general rule of thumb for Christian radio and TV.

Yesterday I was so blessed to help with KCHF, Son Broadcastings Spring Share-a-thon, Ch 11 Comcast, it was just so AWESOME to be of service to the family at Son Broadcasting! Vickie, one of the daughters of Founder Blackie Gonzales, said, “Dewey you are like family.”……. while the cool thing is that I see Christian Radio and TV coming together for God’s Glory! It is amazing! Vickie said that at Ch 11 they have to raise $110,000 a month to just cover the cost of the TV operation.

As Pastor Larry Moss said yesterday on NM News and Views it is time for Christians to pray for New Mexico Christian TV/Radio stations and give financially.

Christian TV/Radio provides the Salt and Light here in New Mexico.

Yesterday I teamed with Pastor Chris of the Santa Fe NM Church of God during the program on Ch 11. Sue Parks had to apply make-up to my shining forehead 3 times as I reflected the television lights off my big forehead, enough to blind the TV audience!!!! LOL! LOL! Hey, if nothing lese I could always be used as a solar panel!!!! I was reflecting off enough light and heat from my forehead to heat and light a small village!!!! LOL LOL!!!

I keep getting told, (Gary your son started this!!!!) “Dewey you look younger on TV!” LOL I guess Radio makes me look old!!! Yes, I know I have a face for radio!!!! LOL!

I am so thankful for our relationship with Son Broadcasting, Annette, Ted, Vickie, Sue and all…….New Mexico is blessed with 3 AWESOME Christian TV stations, Pastor Ray Franks and Ray’s son Brenton at KAZQ which we are on every week with Dewey and Friends, OPEN DOORS, and Cindy Mansfield and the TBN station.

We love Pastor Ray and the whole staff at Ch 32, Steve, Howard, Anthony, ..just all of them make coming in to do our TV Ministry program such a blessing.

The bottom line here is the Lord has blessed New Mexico with people who are so dedicated to Christian TV and Radio..more Christian Radio stations in Albuquerque, per capita anywhere in the United States, 14 is the number here in the Duke City. Three Christian TV Stations.

What an army for God!

So no matter where you live reading the CUP……you can listen to us on the Internet at www.mykkim.com or many of you have Christian Radio/TV stations in your area, BUT many of you don’t.

Once in awhile I will get a call from someone from New Mexico that has moved out of state, and they call me saying how they miss KKIM, and ask me if I know of a station like KKIM where they now live. Sadly, Teaching, News and Talk Christian stations like KKIM are rare anymore.

I pray that you will support Christian/Radio and TV with your prayers and finances.

Christian radio/TV helps millions everyday in their daily walk with Jesus Christ. Christian Radio/TV never closes it’s doors, Our Church is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

It is a Church that helps those at 1am who can’t sleep and are hurting….it ministers to many in the late night and early morning hours……..

So look at us as a Church, all of us in Christian Radio/TV……..OPEN DOORS to all…anytime of day………

Just one more thing…….Please don’t take us for granted…all of us in Christian Radio/TV…..don’t take for granted what we do everyday….many have never given….will you? Have you ever given to Christian Radio/TV?

“[Zacchaeus] was too short … [but] when Jesus got to the tree, he looked up …” Luke 19: 3, 5 (NIV)

“You may feel like you’re out on a limb; Jesus knows. You may feel all alone, but Jesus stops and notices. You are not forgotten; you are not alone.”

According to the world’s standards for evaluating worth, Zacchaeus was a failure. He was extremely short; he was disliked by everyone because he was a tax collector; and he hated himself.

He was not proud of his life’s achievements because he knew he had cheated people to get where he was. He was powerful and had a lot of money — but he had no friends and was incredibly lonely.

But one day Zacchaeus’ life was completely changed because Jesus walked by and he realized how much he mattered to God.

When Zacchaeus learned that Jesus was coming to town, he wanted to see him, but he was too short to get a glimpse above the crowd. So he ran to a spot where he knew Jesus would pass by and he climbed a tree.

Luke 19 records that when Jesus passed this spot, he looked up and noticed Zacchaeus. Can you imagine how Zacchaeus’ heart started pounding at that moment? Jesus was looking at him – this small, despised, insignificant man.

Why did Jesus stop at that tree and look at him? Because he knew that’s exactly where Zacchaeus was.

God knows exactly where you are too. He knew where you were an hour ago and he knows where you will be tomorrow. You may feel like you’re up a tree right now in your life. God knows where you are. You may feel like you’re out on a limb; Jesus knows. You may feel all alone, but Jesus stops and notices. You are not forgotten; you are not alone.

No tear has ever been hidden from him. No hurtful word said to you has ever passed that he missed. No abuse has ever occurred that he didn’t see and grieve with you. He sees it all.

“God never overlooks a single sparrow. And he pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail – even numbering the hairs on your head!” (Luke 12:6-7 MSG).

The greatest gift of love anyone can ever receive is attention. When you give people your time, you give them your life. When you pay attention to someone and look them in the eye, you are saying, “You matter to me. You are valuable.”

There is never a moment, never a second in your life that God is not paying attention to you. He notices you 24 hours a day because he loves you; you are valuable to him.
