Dear KKIM/KARS Family, Let us RISE after the wonderful rains and serve our LORD Today and all days….. Contentment is found by placing our hope in God. Hope in God can never be taken from us. From Wisdom Hunters Yesterday on NM news and Views we had a wonderful conversation with Albuquerque Mayor Berry. What a first class individual…….in the news for all the right reasons! It is great talking to a Public servant who is serving for all the right reasons! One of the things we were talking about is that Saturday is clean up day in Albuquerque……as the Mayor said, “Company is coming” many folks will be visiting the Duke City for the upcoming Balloon Fiesta. I shared that it’s a great time to visit Jericho Nursery as Rick Hobson is holding his annual Sale-A-Bration at his main location on Alameda. www.jerichonursery.com Pick up some flowers, shrubs, trees to plant to beautify our City. Sharon and I have been working hard to get our yard looking wonderful, in between our one sided water fights!!! LOL! LOL! Boy did I get a lot of comments on that one! I have to say that we also use The Lawn Rangers for trimming the HUGE bushes and other clean up work. Call Marcus at The Lawn Rangers and he will treat you right! We also use his crew at the Radio Ranch! www.thelawnrangers.com I love BLOWING THE HORN of the wonderful Ministry Sponsors we have at the Radio ranch……..let me share with you another one……..Dave Meuer really touched my heart yesterday……..This scripture came to me when Dave was visiting with me……. This is just one of my favorite scriptures……..It is what the Body of Christ can do for each other….but yet hold us accountable to each other……. Kind words are like honey——-sweet to the soul and healthy for the body Proverbs 16:24 Dave was at the Radio Ranch to talk about Security, he is such a good Godly man……. www.armedresponseteam.com If you would like to become a KKIM/KARS Ministry Sponsor we would be so thankful. Please email me. Our Sponsors have the KKIM/KARS Seal Approval as they serve you in Godly way…….It was Pastor Larry Moss’s idea that we promote to folks that our Ministry Sponsor’s are ready to serve you in a Godly way! Something I shares at the very end of yesterdays program is that we all need people that hold us accountable! My pastor Jim Montoya walked into the Radio ranch the other day……and what hit me was, “Isn’t it wonderful to have a PASTOR! Isn’t it wonderful to have over a dozen Pastor’s to turn to!” If you do not have a Pastor in your life……If you do not have a Church in your life…….please pray on that…….God has a Pastor and a Church for you…pray……..I love my Pastor and the Body of Christ…..most of all I love my LORD! There is nothing like having a Personal relationship with the Lord, a wonderful wife and kids, a Pastor and Church, the Body of Christ in your life!!! PRAISE GOD! Prayer Needs…….. Doctors have diagnosed Elizabeth with Cholangio Carcenoma in the liver. About 5mm in size. They are arranging for further exams for more information. What we most desire is the prayers of believers for healing. Pastor Denzell Teague We are praying Pastor! Also please pray for Craig, he is having continued pain in his back. Great comment from Shelly on yesterday’s posting and Ryans write up………
Amen to “dialogue”! We are to love people into the kingdom…not always easy, but necessary! I’m so grateful that believers loved me before I was saved! -Shelly Thanks so much Shelly!!! Let’s have some fun!! Yesterday I posted that the Twins won another Central Division Title!!! I have been a Twins fan since I was 6 years old!!! We beat out the White Sox!!! And we will take out the Yankees!!! Here are some fun replies to yesterdays post………
Yahooooooo!………………..Pastor Leonard And from my old Broadcast Partner from my Indiana days..Jay Scott still doing ballgames in Montana…… “We’re gonna win, Twins, we’re gonna score….” A song that no one at Target Field had ever heard when I was there last summer…. Or, how about “Let’s toast the winning Twins….. –Jay and oh, Did I say that???? This is from Rahn Larson Editor of the Windom newspaper www.windomnews.com He is holding me accountable!!!! LOL LOL I think Rahn mis-quoted me!!! LOL LOL It’s so great to have fun!!!
Dewey,
A couple of friendly questions from Ye Olde Editor:
- What was all of that stuff about Billy Smith being overmatched when he was hired a couple of years ago?
- How do you like your Crow?
Just having a little fun with a true Twins fan in the wake of a nice Central clinching.
I enjoy your column and appreciated the good comments about “my roots go back to Windom.” Keep up the good work.
Kindest regards,
–Rahn Larson
P.S. You have to admit that Smith has done a fantastic job of plugging holes and going out and getting the key guys we needed for the 2010 season. Thome and Capps have been wonderful additions, and one of the most underrated moves was the Pavano signing which got us a steady veteran anchor the pitching staff.
Here come the Yankee fans………
Do you think they can really handle the mighty Yankees?

From Anita, Oh Oh Craig wouldn’t think that was funny!! Good thing he’s out in the hills hunting!!
Anita (Craig is a BIG White Sox Fan) Thanks for letting us have some fun here this morning at the CUP, with the Winning Minnesota Twins!!! Pastor Massimo Lorenzini has this info for us………..
Dear Friends, I trust this email finds you rejoicing in the grace of God. I want to ask you, are you growing in your faith walk? Are you realizing that God has called you to serve others in His name? Are you feeling equipped for the task? Do you influence anybody? Sure you do. If not others, then at least yourself through your self-talk. I invite you to take part in a training seminar on biblical counseling. Come and learn how God’s Word is sufficient to help us overcome common problems in life. The gospel is not only for getting you into heaven, it’s for helping you get along in life! The seminar will be on Sat. morning Oct. 2 with Daniel Schuman of Renew Biblical Solutions at FBC Espanola. You can download a brochure with further information here. Also, it’s not too late to enroll in our two seminary extensions classes. We have Old Testament Survey 1 on Tuesday evenings and New Testament Survey 1 on Thursday evenings with some great teachers. Both classes begin a 6:30pm and are held at FBC Espanola. You can download a brochure with all the information here. Please contact me with any questions you may have.
Let’s continue to pray together that the light of the gospel will continue to push back the spiritual darkness in northern New Mexico. Remember, if you are not doing what God has called you to do, you are wasting your life. God desires to use us to make a difference in our generation, in the place He has us. Let’s be busy about our Lord’s business. In the trenches with you,
—
