Dear Friends,
When times are tough, the tough get going……….
Many have never been through anything like what we are seeing in our Country and do not know how to react, and that includes the Church….I was surrounded in my upbringing with Role Models that taught me well…….
So you better understand me..and where I come from……..
My Dad Wally Moede, Windom, Minnesota, wore cardboard in the bottom of his shoes……during the deep depression as his family did not have the money to buy new shoes……His Dad, My Grandpa, Chris Moede was employed by the City of Windom in the Water Works Dept………They had bread and Lard to eat……..yes Lard!
Do you think my Dad and Grandpa cut back on their services to their Community and Country??? NO
My Dad went on to serve our Country in WWII as a SGT. in the U.S. Marines. returned home and served as Assn’t Fire Chief, Head usher at Church, and Head of the Schools Transportation Dept until his passing at 64.Many called my Dad, The Shepherd of God’s Children!
Do you think my Grandpa Chris Moede cutback during tough times?” NO! he served the City well in the Water Dept, The Fire Dept, and also helped many others . He and Grandma Dena raised 13 Children! Seven of the boys served our Country in WWII.
When the times get tough, the tough get going………too much of America has never known such times and does not know how to go about their days.
My Dad, Grandpa Chris, Grand[pa Floyd, Uncle Joe and many others from my upbringing in Windom, Minnesota taught me well. All Godly people. My list is long!!! So I was so blessed to grow up in Windom!!!!
