Dear Family of Jesus,
God is working on things for you…….things you have no idea about……..
we have this urgent prayer request……..
Hi Dewey:
Great cup, thank you so much. Quotes from Abe Lincoln reminded me of a book I’m reading by Dr. Ben Carson. He speaks of the founding fathers and gives some of their quotes which point to their trust in God. Will keep praying for our country.
Last week at church Pastor Steve had all the Elders, Ministry Leaders and Prayer teams come forward and also engaged the entire congregation to pray for a baby we have named the “Warrior Baby”. This baby is fighting for his life. He is a tiny infant and has been beaten on 3 separate occasions. (He is of course being fostered at this time) When he was hospitalized the Drs. determined that nothing could be done and pulled his airway and he started to breathe on his own. They said that it was hopeless and that he would be in a vegetative state. Since prayer was initiated for him he has smiled, moved his hands and feet and even cried when he was fed. We are persisting in prayer for his complete and total healing for God’s glory alone!!! He is the healer and needs no other! Please add the “Warrior Baby” to your list. He has stolen our hearts.
We thank you Jesus in advance for all you are going to do and the ways you are going to use this child,
Paul and Rene’
Thank you Paul and Rene…………let us be in prayer for complete healing!
Urgent prayer……
Please for Sister Ruby Wells who was readmitted to UNM Hospital with possible stroke or meningitis . Also pray for Sister Lena Connelly who fell on Friday and injured her arm. Blessings. Pastor Jim Montoya
From Andy Griffith’s wife Cindi……My prayer is that all wives can say this about their husbands……
Official statement from Cindi Griffith:
“Andy was a person of incredibly strong Christian faith and was prepared for the day he would be called Home to his Lord. He is the love of my life, my constant companion, my partner, and my best friend. I cannot imagine life without Andy, but I take comfort and strength in God’s Grace and in the knowledge that Andy is at peace and with God.”
POWERFUL words from Cindi Griffith.
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Cor 1:20 NIV
What is precious to you? Slow down right now and think what is precious to you? What does that word mean to you?
Went the eye Doctor yesterday for a check up…….thought about friends who have awaken from a nights sleep and they are blind in one eye……..eye sight is very precious……..something we take so much for granted……….
Going to bed at night………most of us automatically think we will get up in the morning. Life is precious.
Has your house ever been robbed?
The thief came and went………..shocked you……….like death………
My prayer is that I have your attention……..more importantly that God has your full attention and that you are living form Him and not yourself.
I starve for more of God in my life….I am learning so much. As Pastor Bill Ruhl has taught me, Keep pressing into God with all you have. I seek the knowledge of God.I seek to be Christ like.
I feel a strong presence of the Holy Spirit in my life that is my testimony to you this day. That strong precense of the Holy Spirit is over my family, home and Ministry.
Sharon has been helping a lady in her walk with Jesus, and Sharon told this person that she and I were anxious about something yesterday and that lady said can we pray right here right now! The lady said she had never prayed like this before out in the open, but they had an almighty prayer! PTL!
My wife……the quiet one……but the strong one……leading by example.
Some make the mistake of discounting the quiet ones…….while they shout away, like me, they, me, must not forget the ones who quietly go about the work the Lord has assigned them.
I have seen Pastor’s offend the quiet ones.
Yesterday at the Eye Doctor, he let me grab his hands and pray over him, he also is an eye surgeon, I prayed over his mind and spirit…….and he bathed in it!
I prayed over his nurse and she thanked me and thanked me………..it’s all for God…..
I am here to tell you people are starved for Jesus Christ.
People are staved for people to pray for them and show them the love of Jesus Christ.
Yesterday a man came to the Radio Ranch and God told me to pray over him and anoint him with oil……I did, the man then told me about his prostrate problem, could be cancer. We prayed for complete healing.
The Holy Spirit told me to pray over this man…we must act when prompted by the Holy Spirit…….when I fail to take action when the Holy Spirit has prompted me…….it is never good.
Do not be bashful about Jesus Christ, share Him with everyone you meet! He is not bashful about you!
We must slow down enough in our lives and have a deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ. So we can fully bathe in Him and hear the prompting’s of the Holy Spirit.
When is the last time you have heard from God?
Jesus’ Promises to those who have committed their life to Him
Our Relationship Our Hope Our Gifts Our Persecution
Our Relationship with God is based on these:
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame…for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-13
You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in in me. John 15:3,4
I have called you friends. John 15:15
says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:18
He will not always accuse, nor will he harbor his anger forever; he does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him. Psalm 103:9-13
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever – the Spirit of truth….But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:16-18
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. John 16:13
Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. Hebrews 13:5
And I will do whatever you ask for in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. John 14:13
being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. John 14:27
If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all…For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31,32,38,39
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands. Deuteronomy 7:9
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it….” Malachi 3:10 (Note: Salvation is not dependant on tithing but upon Jesus Christ alone.)
Jesus says, “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.” John 10:27-30
Our Hope IN Jesus:
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5,6
As for God, His way is perfect; the Word of the Lord is tried: He is a buckler to all them that trust in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the lord for ever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. Isaiah 26:3,4
It is better to trust in the Lord that to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. Psalm 118:8,9; Also Psalm 37:3,5
Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 (This is a promise that no matter what — God never gives up on one of His children! What He has begun in their lives He will complete! Praise God!)
Gifts of the Lord:
If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. James 1:5
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31,32
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. James 3:17
Faith: But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6
Fear of the Lord: Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your hear: for consider how great things He hath done for you. 1 Samuel 12:24
Persecution Jesus assures us, “Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to “set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law’;and “a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.’He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. ~”Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.” Matt 10:34-39, 32,33.
“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You will be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak;for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you. “Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. When they persecute you in this city, flee to another. For assuredly, I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before the Son of Man comes. ~~”A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. ~”Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. Matt 10:16 -31 NKJV
“But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you. They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. This will result in your being witnesses to them. But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves. For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death. All men will hate you because of me. Luke 21:12-17
We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps him safe, and the evil one cannot harm him. 1John 5:18

This is excellent from Marianne Lordi……..this is so heavy on my heart…………
With all that said, as we watch as darkness and evil fill this earth, the question still remains ”Are you truly set free?“. The bondage of sin can cause havoc and destruction in your life no matter where you live and how much money and power you have. Each day I watch with sadness as people choose to live their life in the chains of the enemy who has blinded them to the fact that they are perishing as they walk the path of death. They are not free. They are deceived! Without Christ, there is no freedom for your life. You can have all you think is good but you will never be truly happy because your hope to be victorious in this world comes only in being surrendered to Christ! He is the one who sets the prisoners free so that we no longer have to be held captive in the trap of sin. Christ is our power over the darkness and our hope when we come to the end of ourselves and have nowhere else to turn. There is always a way for God to help you. You can never fall too far that his grace cannot lift you.
What does it serve you to live in a worldly freedom when you come to the end of your life? It is only when your life is in Christ that you can have peace no matter what you face. He has conquered all of your enemies and death no longer has any power over you. Money, fame and even earthly freedom can never give you that!

July 25, 2012. You have some challenges beginning to appear on the horizon. This that is coming will be for a season only. Brace and prepare yourself for hard times beyond what you have known. Do not panic or be afraid. Into each life some difficulties come. Never let this surprise you any more than does a sudden and very hot summer season or an unusually cold winter. Life is neither perfect nor fair. Take it as it comes. Prepare for the worst and expect the best. What comes is what comes. Make the most of it and never lose hope in the face of certain and impending change. I am your guide and protector.
Psalm 1:3 (NASB) “He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.” Ras Robinson

July 25, 2012. A desire is deep within your heart. You want it so much but are afraid to express it for fear it won’t happen, but tell Me anyway. In the quiet recesses of your heart and mind express to Me your deep desires. When you do this express all the reasons why and all the reasons why not. Then leave it alone. You won’t find happiness in seeking your own way. Trust Me to form your heart to My desire. In the long run this is what makes you happy. I see the end from the beginning. I always know what is best for you. I always want what is best for you.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Bev Robinson

July 25, 2012. Don’t give up. Step up your praying to a higher level. Tenacity is an admirable trait which I have placed within you. I hear your cries directed toward Me. Although you may have feelings of defeat, don’t quit. In regard to salvation for your friends and loved ones, continue seeking Me. Ask Me for strength when you get weary. My word says to pray without ceasing. I tell you to assert yourself. Don’t be ashamed of Me and My gospel. I love to hear your voice. Whether it’s in the quiet or out in the open, continue to pray without end. Though you may get exhausted, I never sleep or slumber.

Here are some of the best foods you can eat for a healthier heart which is backed by nutrition research and expert advice:
Juicy, Red Tomatoes
Eating more tomato-based foods can boost your protection against heart disease. Experts think this is partly thanks to lycopene, a red-pigmented phytonutrient in tomatoes, which appears to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. “Tomatoes are a good source of potassium and vitamin C,” says Dr. Bazilian, “but there’s also some evidence that lycopene and other carotenoids, along with vitamins A, C, and E in tomatoes, may help reduce bad (LDL) cholesterol oxidation, which plays a key role in plaque buildup in the blood vessels and can lead to atherosclerosis.” Eating processed tomatoes, such as low-sodium tomato sauces, juices, soups, and canned tomatoes, enhances your body’s absorption of lycopene. And adding olive oil to your tomato sauce will help your body absorb even more lycopene. Says Bazilian, “That’s food synergy at its best – two whole foods that have nutritional attributes and benefits of their own, but provide an added benefit when combined.”
Tangy, Tart Cherries
“Cherries are a super fruit, and a rich source of powerful disease-fighting antioxidants called anthocyanins, which give cherries their cherry-red color,” says Dr. Bazilian. Dr. Bazilian notes that “anthocyanins, also found in raspberries, blueberries, and beets, help scavenge nitric oxide and decrease inflammation in the body, an important risk factor for heart disease.” In a recent animal study, a cherry-enriched diet lowered total cholesterol and triglycerides, further suggesting the potential benefits of cherries for heart health. Fresh, sweet cherries are abundant in the summertime, but you can find cherries year-round, too. Look for dried or frozen tart cherries, or tart cherry juice. Try dried cherries in your oatmeal or muffins, salads, or sautéed over fish; add frozen cherries to smoothies; and use cherry juice in sauces, salad dressings, or as a beverage (add to green tea or drink alone).
Plump, Red Grapes
Anthocyanins, along with resveratrol, quercetin, and pterostilbene, give grapes their color, plus antioxidant powers that may help decrease your risk of heart disease and help prevent certain types of cancer. “Several studies show that the plant compounds in red grapes can reduce the risk of blood clots, protecting the elasticity and pressure within the blood vessels, and lowering LDL cholesterol while potentially boosting good (HDL) cholesterol — a win, win,” says Dr. Bazilian. Grapes are one of the few fresh fruits available year-round with a sweet, fresh flavor. Red wine, made from red grapes, has also been touted for its role in reducing heart disease risk, mainly due to resveratrol. But some experts caution that, because wine may increase breast cancer risk, women at high risk for breast cancer may want to stick with grapes or grape juice instead. To get more red grapes in your diet, add them to smoothies, slice them into a salad, use in stir-fries, or just eat them by the juicy handful.
Crunchy, Red Cabbage
Dr. Bazilian calls red cabbage “a real multi-tasker,” thanks to its super-food potential to protect against both heart disease and cancer, plus the fact that it’s available year-round. Says Bazilian, “Red cabbage also contains anthocyanins, giving this vegetable its potent color, and it’s also a good source of vitamin C, which a recent study suggests may help people with heart failure live longer.” This powerful vegetable has also been shown to help lower cholesterol levels. Look for firm, whole red cabbages to cut up into salads (dressed with yogurt, or olive oil and vinegar) and toss into stir-fries, or grab a bag of pre-cut red cabbage to use in place of lettuce on sandwiches, in savory wraps, or on tacos and tostadas.
Satisfying Walnuts
Multiple studies have found that walnuts — yet another tasty, wonder food — can help you lower your cholesterol levels and control your blood pressure. If that’s not enough, walnuts have also been shown to offer anti-inflammatory benefits without causing weight gain. Says Dr. Bazilian, “Walnuts are high in polyphenols, an important class of phytonutrients. Walnuts help manage healthy blood pressure and contain anti-inflammatory compounds, plus 10 or more antioxidants.” Walnuts were the first nut to receive the American Heart Association’s trusted ‘heart-check’ designation as a heart-healthy food, adds Dr. Bazilian. Since that time almonds and pistachios have also received this honor. Eat walnuts alone, or add them to hot and cold cereals, yogurt, salads, whole grain casseroles or breads, healthy trail mixes, and stir-fries.
Filling, Whole Grains
Research shows eating more whole grains may lower your risk of heart disease by up to 25% to 36 %, and lower your risk of stroke by up to 37%. Unrefined, whole-grain foods contain fiber that can help lower your blood cholesterol and help you feel full, which may also help you manage your weight. Advises Bazilian, “Whole grain’s got it going on — it’s the total package. Most of us know about the fiber benefits of whole grains, but what many people don’t understand is that refining wheat actually removes the bran and germ, decreasing essential nutrients and increasing calorie density.” Choose whole-grain, high-fiber breads, such as those containing whole wheat, oats, oatmeal, whole rye, whole grain corn, and buckwheat. When shopping for breads, pastas, cereals, and other grain-based foods, choose brands that list whole grains as the first item in the ingredient list.
Nutrient-Rich Salmon
Omega-3 fatty acids, found in fatty or oily fish such as salmon, help boost your immune system, reduce blood clots, and protect against heart attacks. They can also help boost your HDL cholesterol levels, lower triglyceride levels in your blood, protect your arteries from plaque buildup, fight inflammation, and lower your blood pressure. Says Bazilian, “Studies show that including two or more servings of fish per week in your diet can help lower your risk of developing coronary heart disease by as much as 30% over the long term. Omega-3s can also help prevent irregular heart rhythms. No common fish delivers more of the omega-3 fatty acids than salmon.” How can you get more salmon in your diet? Short of adopting a sushi habit, try cooked salmon in salads, with whole grain pasta, or in grilled salmon wraps or tacos. Check out Vital Choice http://www.vitalchoice.com/shop/pc/home.asp where you can purchase wild caught salmon is loaded with Omega-3 fats, EPA and DHA, and has incredible health benefits.
Eating More Healthy Foods
While there’s no shortage of tasty, heart-healthy foods, it can still be a challenge to fit them into your diet on a daily basis. According to Dr. Bazilian, its well-worth the effort and simple strategies can make it easier. “Nutritious food is our best defense when it comes to health, and one of the very few parts of our world we can control. You can’t change your age or your genes, but you can make positive, delicious and health-enhancing choices around food.” Adds Dr. Bazilian, “It’s not an all or nothing proposition, small steps and strategies do add up. Eat a fruit and veggie at every meal, an herb and/or a spice at every meal, and a soup and/or a salad at every meal.” When it comes to eating well, do it bite by bite, and meal by meal. Don’t sweat a less-than-healthy choice now and then. Just make sure more of your food choices are healthy – versus unhealthy. And always READ those labels.
Tomorrow, I’ll share with you the “FourWays a Woman’s Heart Differs from a Man’s Heart”.
The Lord richly bless you.
Thanks Dr. Joe!
