Dear KKIM Family,
I PRAISE GOD that we are together today! I first want to share these prayer notes with you. Jannetta is working on prayer page at www.deweysdailycup.com where we will have the prayer needs listed at all times so you can pray over it.
We are here to serve you…………”For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give HIS life a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
What would happen if we all would keep the word “SERVANT” in our minds and on the tip of our tongues all the time?
Just a quick note……..
We had an excellent turn out at Dr. Larry Bates seminar..an increase of 60% in attendance! Why? KKIM FM listeners showed their love and appreciation for the Radio Ministry! KKIM FM listeners came from all over Northern New Mexico to attend the conference. I was in tears many times when I would hear what KKIM means to these folks. It was so nice to meet many of you! PRAISE GOD!!! I just thank God for all HE is doing with the Radio Ministry of KKIM!
“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24
Let’s now turn to prayer and hear from Lynn…………we continue to pray for Lynn……..and all others we pray for. As it says in Mark 9:23 Anything is possible if a person believes. Lynn is a living display of God’s presence…………
Hi Dewey,
I just wanted to say thank you again for all that you do. I just received news from my doctor’s office that the mass in my liver has decreased to half the size it was.
The chemo is working for me. I have been off the oxygen for 8 weeks. My lungs are stable. I know it is through prayer and my medical team that my health is improving.
I sincerely appreciate your work and thank you for reminding me the importance of praying for others and that we all have obstacles. It’s through God that we can overcome them.
God Bless,
Lynne Buggs
Thanks for the update Lynn and we will continue to pray for you and your family.
Now let us turn to Susan and her husband, Albert, as we have been praying as he undergoes tests………..
Hi Dewey,
We got my husband’s diagnosis last evening. He has lung cancer, early stages they say. Will see oncologist next week.
Susan Albizo
Please keep Albert and Susan in your prayers. We must pray for Albert. Let us remember that Christ’s abiding presence requires a life of unceasing faith.
This prayer need comes from Andrea for her Pastor………..
Hi Dewey,
I wanted to send out a prayer request for my Pastor. His name is Pastor Ron Vietti of Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield , CA . He has been ill with a fever for a month now and the doctor(s) cannot find what is wrong with him. There may be spiritual warfare going on. Please add him to the prayer list.
I forgot to attached Pastor Ron’s Bio from the website for you to post.
Blessings,
Andrea Harp
Ron Vietti is Senior Pastor of Valley Bible Fellowship in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Bakersfield, California . He and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 38 years, and have two children, who both presently work at the church, along with their spouses.
Here are a few interesting facts about Ron:
• Ron and Debbie pioneered Valley Bible Fellowship in Bakersfield with ten teenagers back in 1974. The church has grown to over 10,000 members and has recently been named as the third fastest growing church in America by “Outreach Magazine.”
• Valley Bible Fellowship in Las Vegas began from a vision that God gave to Ron in 2002 to start a church that would minister to the people no one else was willing to minister to, such as strippers, prostitutes, and the homeless. Without knowing anyone living in the city, Ron began the church. The first meeting had only five people in attendance, but that was only the beginning. Valley Bible Fellowship in Las Vegas now has a regular attendance of approximately 1,000 people and continues to grow weekly.
• In January of 1997, Ron was diagnosed with leukemia and was given three to five years life expectancy. Through a series of miracles, the leukemia vanished from his body. Even though he technically is still diagnosed with Leukemia, doctors have not been able to detect it in his body since 1998.
• In 2005, Ron made national headlines because of the role he played in the conversion of former Korn lead guitarist, Brian “Head” Welch, to Christianity. After Brian’s conversion, Ron spent several months with him, including a trip to Israel where Brian got baptized, teaching him about the Bible and how to live his new life in Christ.
• Ron has authored two books. The first book describes his personal experiences going through the diagnosis and treatment of his leukemia. It is called “Conspiracy Of Silence”. The second book, just released in 2007, is a book that speaks about the need for an overhaul of American Christianity. The book is called “Polyester People.”
• In addition to the books, Ron has a nationally syndicated radio program called “The Simple Life Radio Program.” It is aired in over 450 cities nationwide.
• Ron lives part-time in Las Vegas and part-time in California so that he can lead both churches. When Ron is not busy leading the churches, you can find him taking care of his cows at his ranch located at his California home. He has described himself as a “cowboy at heart.”

We will keep Pastor Ron in our prayers!
Keep an eye our for the prayer need page at www.deweysdailycup.com For those of you who get this by email, please check out the web site for items not sent by email.
Here are some more thoughts that I had while writing this Cup………
Let’s take our eye’s off our circumstances and look into the eye’s of Jesus.
Why do people follow some other leader? We already have a leader. The Church gives Jesus first place in everything.
The Church us you and me………he Church does not have walls………it is everywhere we are at.
I love how God is changing me one small bit at a time. Sometimes I don’t even notice He’s doing that until I’m in a situation and watch myself respond in ways I never would have before. PRAISE GOD!!!!!

The Buzzard, Bat, and Bumblebee
THE BUZZARD:
If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top.
THE BAT:
The ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkable nimble creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash.
THE BUMBLEBEE:
A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it completely destroys itself.
PEOPLE:
In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. We struggle about with all our problems and frustrations, never realizing that all we have to do is look up!
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up!
Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
Today is God’s gift, that’s why we call it the present.

Working Replica of Noah’s ARK
Opens In SCHAGEN, Netherlands
The massive central door in the side of Noah’s Ark was thrown open Saturday
for the first crowd of curious Pilgrims and townsfolk to behold the wonder.
Of course, it’s only a replica of the biblica l Ark , built by Dutch
Creationist Johan Huibers as a testament to his faith in the literal truth of the Bible.
The ark is 150 cubits long, 30 cubits high and 20 cubits wide. That’s two-thirds the length of a football field and as high as a three-story house.
Life-size models of giraffes, elephants, lions, crocodiles, zebras,
bison and other animals greet visitors as they arrive in the main hold.
A contractor by trade, Huibers built the ark of cedar and pine –
Biblical Scholars debate exactly what the wood used by Noah would have been.
Huibers did the work mostly with his own hands, using modern tools
and with occasional help from his son Roy. Construction began in
May 2005.
On the uncovered top deck – not quite ready in tim e for the opening
– will come a petting zoo, with baby lambs and chickens, and goats,
and one camel.
Visitors on the first day were stunned.
‘It’s past comprehension, ‘ said Mary Louise Starosciak, who
happened to be bicycling by with her husband while on vacation
when they saw The ark looming over the local landscape.
‘I knew the story of Noah, but I had no idea the boat would have been so big.’
There is enough space near the keel for a 50-seat film
theater where kids can watch a video that tells the story of Noah
Huibers said he hopes the project will renew interest in Christianity in
the Netherlands , where church going has fall en dramatically in the past 50 years.
”If You Need Help, Ask God. If You Don’t, Thank God”…
‘Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever…’ Psalm 23:6
When there is nothing left but God, that is when you
find out that God is all you need. Live today to the
fullest because tomorrow is not promised.
Now that I am old and
gray…give me the time to tell
this new generation
(and their children too)
about all your mighty miracles.
Psalm 71:18
I want to pass this report card along to you………We also have National Right to Life Voters Guides for you to pick up at KKIM 4125 Carlisle. This is from Dr. Joe……..Check it out………..
When I had my Christian Times Radio Show out of Fresno, California, activist Randy Thomasson was a regular guest. He stayed in our home during a stop over while campaigning for family rights. He’s the pit bull of the biblical worldview to the California political machine. His organization just published the unbiased Presidential Report Card that references what both candidates represent. You need to carefully read this:

God Bless you all, Dewey Sharon and family
