Good morning people of God!!!!
Just a note we had to move our website because of extreme difficulties……..we had outgrown the the company we where with that hosted are site. We moved to a new home, same address LOL! fggam.org! That is one of the reasons you have not had a CUP! It has been a LONG LONG project. Please pray for us, it was also very costly, money wise. But we PRAISE GOD that we are with a solid company.
Our CUP webmaster Jannetta, as I mentioned was gone for 2 weeks, now she is sick, so please pray for her!
We also got news that Michael Riek, who we have been praying to be released from prison, is going to be released sometime in November, no date has been given to the family. I got a card in the mail from Michael yesterday! He wrote a very long note and thanks all of you for your prayers! Amen! We PRAISE GOD for this news, at the same time we are praying for other such as Stephen to be released from prison. Please keep Michael and Stephen in your prayers.
We continue to pray for the following:
Veronica, infection in the kidney that was transplanted into her. Veronica is at home.
Jan Moore, liver cancer, under hospice care at home.
Pastor Ricky Gordon, numerous health concerns.
Joan McCargish, digestive problems, under going tests.
Mike in Reserve, we pray he gets a better job!
We pray for little Jade who is living with her grandma now, we pray for her well being.
Please pray Geoff comes to Church!
We continue to pray for the family of little 4-year-old Lilly Garcia who was shot dead in a road rage incident last week in Albuquerque.
We also pray for the family of Albuquerque Police Officer Daniel Webster who died on Wednesday of gunshot wounds.
Please listen to my podcast in honor of Lilly and Officer Webster, the link is at the end of this CUP.
We also have very many unspoken prayer requests.
Two of favorite people in the world celebrated birthdays this week, Kelly Snelgrove, who writes for us at FGGAM and serves at Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, NM. Former Lt. Governor of New Mexico Walter Bradley’s birthday is today! I pray he runs for Governor!!!!
This morning I want to acknowledge two of the many people that have blessed me and Sharon and FGGAM over the years. Pastor Leonard and Diana Navarre of Valley View Christian Church in Edgewood, NM. Leonard and his wife Diana are celebrating in our Lord, 49 years of ministry this month! PTL! I say Leonard and Diana, because it takes a team, not one. Time flies when your having fun, but I think it was about 8 years ago when we met, thanks to Pastor Don Kimbro, another FGGAM Adviser.
Pastor Leonard has been a mentor of mine, he helped me at KKIM radio, sacrificing his time to drive in all the way from Edgewood to go on our afternoon news program, New Mexico News and Views. A key adviser to us at FGGAM when we started 3 1/2 years ago and to this day he helps guide me. He has been with me as I make tough decisions, when Sharon and I are going through a tough time and when I just need to talk.
What makes Leonard such a strong, Godly testimony to us all? It is because it is not about Leonard. He always models God to us all. I have seen first hand how Leonard and his wife Diana have sacrificed much for others. You see it takes a team. They are a solid team. I see first hand in everything Leonard does, he puts God first, then Diana and family, and then the Church, the Body of Christ. This may be the most important thing Leonard has modeled for me.
My most favorite quote from Leonard is this, “You know what we get to do today Dewey? We get to serve the Lord!”
I think of that quote everyday, it is at the top of my heart, mind and soul as I go forth in my life, keeping me in check, in everything I do I ask myself, am I serving the Lord in all I do?
I do not know anybody that does it any better than Pastor Leonard and Diana Navarre.
They both also model for us what a Godly marriage is all about.
God joined a man and a woman together so that together they would mirror His image. God called this union marriage. Their oneness reflects the character and unity of God. Matthew 19: 4-6 and John 17:22-23.
Their oneness is a living picture of this intimate relationship between Jesus Christ and His followers. Ephesians 5:22-33
So many thoughts go through my mind when I think of how and what Leonard and Diana have shown me and thousands of others about the ways of God. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is from Mark 10:45 and it kind’a sums up Leonard and Diana’s life. For even the Son of Man came not to have service rendered to Him, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.
It would be a much better world if we all would serve others first. I know these two have sacrificed much to serve. They have not aimed to build their own empire, their own legacy, a building to be named after them, no, they have invested all they have in us, the Body of Christ. They have poured their cup of God’s goodness onto us.
Leonard has been to India many times on mission trips, I pray that someday I go with him. I have learned much about the people of God by listening to Leonard share about India.
Let me share with you Leonard’s philosophy on ministry and the road that God has taken him and Diana on………….
Leonard married Diana Jean Dunaway, August 2, 1969
Philosophy of Ministry: I believe in the priesthood of all believers, in that, the church of Jesus Christ is a body. We are all different in parts and functions with different abilities and gifts yet we all are able to contribute to the edification of the entire body. I believe in Ephesians 4:11-12, where the leadership is to equip, train, and supply the saints unto the work of service which builds up (causes to grow) the body of Jesus Christ our Lord.

So I close with this…..How are you and the Lord getting along?
This morning I come to you weeping over the death of Albuquerque Police Officer Daniel Webster. He died early this morning after being shot by a thug, a thug who should have been in jail. This is a very sad time in New Mexico, the worst violence in our most recent history. We just lost 4-year-old Lilly Garcia, she was shot dead by a thug in a road rage incident. This thug should have been in jail also. Last night Mayor Berry and Police Chief Eden gathered with many at the hospital to show their support for Officer Webster, his family and fellow officers. Then early this morning we learned Officer Webster had died overnight. Who will stand in the gap? From the words of Jesus, our prayers for you are “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”

I Have Missed You!
Dear Family of Our Lord Jesus Christ,
How are you today?
It has been a long time!
Today and all days let us do what God wants us to do, not what you want to do.
What you and I have planned today could be the direct opposite of what God has planned for us, stop and listen.
Be aware of God’s presence
WOW! God gave me those words this morning.
Last night I talked to my dear friend Ed Moore as his lovely angel wife Jan lay in her bed at home. The Moore family has had a huge impact on my life, greater than they know! Ruby Moore, Kay Lawrence Clyde Moore Doug Moore Rachelle Moore Brandt Chuck Moore This family gave me my first job in Christian radio back in 1986 at WFRN in Elkhart, Indiana. They have made me a better man of God, better Husband, father, and Preacher. My heart aches for the Moore family today.Rachelle Moore Brandt posted this yesterday: Thank you if you’ve been supporting my mom and our family in your prayers. She came home yesterday evening from the hospital and will stay there until God takes her home. It will likely be just a matter of days…
Jan helped me very much when I was the marketing manager for WFRN! She helped make me a better man of God. Whether she knows it or not, her life PREACHED TO ME! In fact, all the Moore PREACH to me with how they have lived their lives. The Moede’s love you all! We are in constant prayer for Jan and all of you. The Moore family has established a living legacy!
Please pray for Shona Neff and her hubby Warren today, they are having to say goodbye to their doggy, 14 year old Cooper today at 4pm. Cooper was born on Super Bowl weekend 2001! Cooper has been a huge blessing to the Neff family and to many others! I know how much Shona and Warren love doggy’s!
Our prayers are with the Martin Jude Richards family, Marin passed away on Tuesday at the age of 63. Martin was an Albuquerque firefighter for 20 years. he was the brother of Dorothy Kimbro, wife of Pastor Don Kimbro. Our love and prayers to the family.
I also want you to know I have missed writing to you, the Lord showed me yesterday as I stressed about our website crashing because of many hits and having it damaged in the process, I was walking out into the foyer and saw the picture of Buffy smiling, thank you Kay!, It that made me stop right there! I sat down and prayed and listened for the Lord. The Lord then said to call Wanell Pate, FGGAM Board member. We had a Godly talk about FGGAM and what the Lord has us doing. The one thing that was very clear to us is that Lord wants me to being doing the CUP! Jeannette has been out of town for 2 weeks. She has been cooking for an elk hunt near Reserve, NM. I do not know if people realize the time and money that we put into the website, Also managing 45 writers is quite a chore! I ask for you financial help as we go forth, in every aspect of this ministry.Thank you all for your support of FGGAM! Since we have put out the plea for help, many are answering the call for our financial needs so that we can help those in need, bringing the light of Jesus Christ to one person at a time, through preaching, teaching, counseling, podcasts, and the FGGAM.ORG site. Please visit FGGAM.ORG and listen to my podcasts, on the front page under” From My heart”………..
Sonja Haldeman is even sending me a box of clothes, as I have needed new shirts and pants. Sharon and I have not bought any clothes for years now
I have been told to be more BOLD in asking, so that we can continue here! Trying to let you know the need is great, the website alone has cost us $650.00 so far this week.
We are not a fancy ministry, just nuts and bolts, down to earth, the love of Jesus Christ! Amen! We get our hands dirty for our Lord!
Thank you to Charles Stanley’s ministry for supplying us with teaching materials! In Touch Ministries has been so very kind to us over the years, showing us the love of Jesus Christ.
2 weeks ago I traveled to Reserve on a Saturday, the 10th, to do the Memorial service and graveside service for my dear friend Glenn Kellogg. I also then preached on that Sunday and returned to preach last Sunday. With everything else going on I have not made time to brew a CUP. I am also doing a 5 minute podcast on The Hub of New Mexico weekdays at 11am and 3pm. I also post the podcast to FGGAM.ORG
Albuquerque this week: 4-year-old Lilly shot to death in a road rage incident by a repeat offender, Albuquerque Police Officer Fights for his life after being shot by a repeat offender.
It is hard for me these days, for all of us…..to look at the violence in our City, Albuquerque. I have lived here since 1995 and I have seen how violent we have become as a people over the years. I have never seen so much horrific violence in my life, the killing of children, even killed by their own parents! I am way beyond being alarmed by this violence, I was alarmed back in 1995 when we moved here, it is way beyond being just alarmed. We are living in a world that does not value life. Just like the killing of little Lilly. Now comes word that another Albuquerque Police Officer has been shot, he is fighting for his life at the University of New Mexico Hospital. Violence is out of control. For far to long New Mexico courts have let thugs out of jail way too many times and treats repeat offenders with kid gloves. We abort children everyday here in Albuquerque. All of us take responsibility in the horrific condition we are in, you and me, Pastors, Judges, Political leaders and so on. We have allowed us to become who we are, a mess, we have let evil spread like wildfire and sweep over our community and world. Only God can change this, people coming to our Lord Jesus Christ. You see this is what happens when just 7% go to Church and we are living in a time when most American homes do not have a bible in them, America is a godless society. The Church is failing. Two long-time Pastors here in New Mexico, Don Kimbro and Errol Stepp, with both having nearly 50 years of service to God’s people here in New Mexico, told me the greatest failing of the Church is not baptizing enough people. The Church is not disciplining enough people, maybe one day a week, if that. Crime has no zip code, know one is safe. A nurse said they had someone storm into the hospital she works at the other day demanding drugs. In my hometown of Windom, Minnesota this month, they have a had a killing and a swat situation at a home, a man with a gun, this is in a town of about 4,000 in rural Minnesota. I am sorry to say this, and it makes me weep, but the American society has gone to hell in a handbasket.
Sadly this scene keeps happening, innocent people get killed, Babies, children and adults. Speeches are made, songs are played, Politicians fight over what to do, funerals take place, and families are never the same.
We do not do anything of substance to change the cycle of violence.
We are a people of “no moral code”
What is substance, not lip service……..we weep, we mourn, we fast, we pray.
We need revive ourselves, or as a long-time Pastor, Richard Mansfield told me, how can you revive a Church that is DEAD, we need an awakening. An awakening to return to God and His ways, otherwise a living hell awaits us, if we are not already there.
The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. Will we change?
The late Chuck Colson said years ago on KKIM Radio, “The American church has been nothing but a High School pep rally”
I am weeping, I am in mourning, I am praying for all of us to break this cycle of violence.

Prayer Needs, Pastor Appreciation and a Special Note From Pastor Don Kimbro
Let us all come together and pray over this need from Maine! From one of our great friends in our Lord, Angel Murchison who writes for us EVERYDAY!
Dear Dewey, I’d like to send out a prayer request for my middle daughter Brooke. Brooke has several lumps on her head and one on her leg. Some are larger than others. The surgeon would like to remove them in case they get infected and continue to grow in size. I would ask all www.fggam.org family to pray for Brooke today. Please join with me in faith that these lumps will be gone. Declaring healing scriptures including Psalm 107 v 20 over Brooke this morning. Healing is her portion. She is the seed of the righteous…Amen.
Thank you for praying for this little family as well. Brooke, Andrew and Emmett. May they know how wide and long and high and deep the love of Christ is for them.

Do you value FGGAM and the Daily CUP? We need your help.
From Pastor Don Kimbro…………….
There are many wonderful ministries that we, as Christians, can and do support. I wish I could personally give to them all, but I can’t, so I have to be selective. First of all, I believe we must begin with our home church and tithe to the work that God has ordained through a local body of believers of which we are members. I believe this is first and foremost and certainly ordained by the word of God.
In addition to that, however, I believe that our Lord is pleased when we seek out other effective ministries that are also reaching people for Christ and with our sacrificial giving, help them reach the goals of the mission that God has given them.
I, like you, want to help when I see a need and a good work being done. So I decided to contribute as often as I can to the local work of For God’s Glory Alone Ministries. One reason I do is that I know the founder of the ministry and the other principals who oversee the work. This is so important. Not only is Pastor Dewey Moede, his wife Sharon and their small staff people of proven integrity, to which I can attest, but their love and dedication for the Lord’s work is obvious through online prayers, rich articles, multitudes of postings from outstanding Christian writers and the current news alerts published throughout each day of what’s taking place in real time.
I know that every dollar that I can help them with will go directly toward the mission of the ministry. No debt is ever incurred, there are no flamboyant expenses or fluff which are questionable, but just solid and wise stewardship of what God provides.
Let me encourage you to help this ministry if you are able. Your prayers and financial contributions are needed to reach their goal of bringing the truth from the news and events and other activities that happen each day through the lens of a Biblical worldview.
You can bless For God’s Glory Alone Ministries today with a donation of any amount. Just go to their website atwww.FGGAM.org and click on the DONATE button. God knows how to multiply it for his glory! Thank you so much for your help and encouragement. God bless.

Pastors and their families live under incredible pressures. Their lives are played out in a fishbowl, with the entire congregation and community watching their every move. They are expected to have ideal families, to be perfect people, to always be available, to never be down and to have all the answers we need to keep our own lives stable and moving forward. Those are unrealistic expectations to place on anyone, yet most of us are disappointed when a pastor becomes overwhelmed, seems depressed, lets us down or completely burns out.
That’s why God has instructed us to recognize His servants.
“The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honor, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching” (1 Timothy 5:17).
Please pray for your Pastor and the family.
Show the love of Jesus Christ to your Pastor and the family.
Encourage your Pastor and the family.
