Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,
How are you doing today?
May God Bless you and yours!
I want to share with you something very heavy on my heart.
When I travel to Reserve, NM once a month I fill up with gas at Henry’s Service Station. I love small town America, I weep at the joy of what is taking place at Henry’s during my stops. I have met a young man by the name of Mike. At first Mike was wondering who is this strange man who comes in here once a month and wants to talk to me! LOL! We now have struck up a friendship. Mike reminds me of our youngest son Lars. Please today think of the young people in America that need a friend, need love, need someone to talk to. Mike works hard at Henry’s and has shown me much about loyalty, working hard, not being in the spot light, focusing on day to day duties. I love young people, the future of our Country and Churches. Mike does not go to Church right now, but pray with me that it happens . I was praying, Lord what other reasons do you have me travel to Reserve once a month, one of those reasons is Mike.
Mike is a good reminder to me why God pulled me out of KKIM into FGGAM, to bring HIS light to one person at a time.
I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. Galatians 2:20
Those words mean the breaking and collapse of my independence brought about by my own hands, and the surrounding of my life to the supremacy of the Lord Jesus. No one can do this for me, I must do it myself. God may bring me up to this point three hundred and sixty-five times a year, but HE cannot push me through it. It means breaking the hard outer layer of my individual independence from God, and the liberating of myself and my nature into oneness with Him; not following my own ideas, but choosing absolute loyalty to Jesus. Once I am at that point, there is no possibility of misunderstanding. Very few of us know anything about loyalty to Christ or understand what He meant when He said, “for My sake’ Matthew 5:11: Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
That was written by Oswald Chambers! WOW! AMEN!
I pray against the flesh all the time…….I am still a work in progress. To lean completely into Jesus Christ. Meeting Mike and traveling to Reserve has helped me in this., one person at a time.
Here is a wonderful not we got last week from Louis and Vickie after my post on Billy Graham, preaching heaven, hell and the blood of Jesus.

Comment: Dewey,we read and cherish your Daily Cup and the prayers and ministry God has given you.I seldom send messages but your comments about Billy Graham are so right on.And we know you walk in his foot steps for that is what God expects of you and me.People like Billy are sent not only to offer Jesus to the world but to encourage us to do likewise.I attended one of his crusades in NYC when I was 15 and it changed me forever.
You are always in our daily prayers for God’s power and strength to bring many to Jesus. We love you Dewey. AMEN & AMEN.
God Bless you Louis and Vickie, longtime friends you are! We love you!
