A Prayer To Renounce Fear
Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer, The Moody Church
Father, help me to agree with You that I am not subject to fear, but
am a child of Your love.
I reject the fear of the future, for I believe that the future is in Your
hands.
I reject the fear of evildoers, for Your Word says, “Though an army
encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; though war arise
against me, yet I will be confident…For He will hide me in His
shelter in the day of trouble; He will conceal me under the cover of
His tent; He will lift me high upon a rock.”
I renounce the fear of rejection, for David wrote in Your holy
Word, “For my father and mother have forsaken me, but the Lord
will take me in.”
I renounce the fear of witnessing about Christ, because as Your
Word warns, “The fear of man brings a snare.”
Therefore, I choose to fear You more than I do any human being. I
affirm, “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do
to me?”
I renounce the fear of losing my property and possessions, for
Your Word says, “I have learned in whatever situation I am, to be
content…I know the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance
and need; I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
I renounce the fear of Satan, for Your Word says he has already
been conquered “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our
testimony.”
I renounce the fear of saying “goodbye” to a terminally ill loved
one, for Jesus promised, “Let not your heart be troubled…In My
Father’s house are many rooms; I go and prepare a place for you
and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will
take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.”
I renounce the fear of death, for I affirm with the Apostle Paul,
“For me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Thank You for the
promise, “death is swallowed up in victory.”
I renounce the fear of martyrdom, for Your Word declares, “Do not
fear those who are able to kill the body, but fear Him rather who is
able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
I renounce the fear of loneliness, for we are promised, “Our
fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.” And
also, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” And again, “Peace I
leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do
I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be
afraid.”
I renounce the fear of intimidation, for Jesus said, “If the world
hates you, know that it has hated Me before it hated you. In the
world you will have tribulation, but take heart; I have overcome the
world.”
I renounce the fear of false accusations. I accept this promise,
“Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and
utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on My account. Rejoice
and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they
persecuted the prophets who were before you.”
I renounce the fear of being treated unjustly, for of Jesus we read
that, “When He was reviled, He did not revile in return, when He
suffered, He did not threaten but continued entrusting Himself to
Him who judges justly.”
I renounce the fear of radical Islam and its desire to intimidate us.
I renounce the fear of political correctness.
I declare that “The truth shall set me free,” and I choose to live as a
free person in Christ Jesus. I shall speak and not be silent.
I renounce the fear of curses, either known or unknown, spoken
against me and my family.
I renounce the fear of manipulation and control.
I renounce the fear of being involved in public or political activity.
I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord of all.
I submit to Jesus as Lord of every area of my life. Jesus Christ is
Lord of my home. Jesus Christ is Lord of my relationships. Jesus
Christ is Lord of my city. Jesus Christ is Lord of my nation. Jesus
Christ is Lord above all false gods and religions. Jesus Christ is Lord
over all the nations of the Earth.
I commit myself to be a living witness to Jesus Christ as Lord. I am
not ashamed of His cross. “God forbid that I should glory except in
the cross of Christ.”
I ask now that You will fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and pour
upon me all the blessings of the kingdom of Jesus Christ. Grant
me the grace to understand the truth of Your Word clearly, and to
apply it in every area of my life. Give me words of hope and life, as
You promised. Open and bless my lips so that I can speak to others
with authority and power in Jesus’ name. Give me the boldness to
be a faithful witness for Christ. Give me a love for all people, and a
passion to share the love of Christ with them.
Grant that I shall carry Your cross as a badge of honor.

All of us deal with fear from time to time, I pray this prayer helps you, in Jesus name Amen!
This morning I awoke and the Lord told me, “Some many are just thankful to get a clean cup of water everyday” Amen to that. Like my brother Daryl. I carry bottled water in my car and give the people begging for money…water. We have many people on the street corners in Albuquerque in need everyday. Be careful you never know which one is Jesus! Be kind and giving. I have a friend Dave Beatty in Santa Fe, NM that at one time gave out McDonalds coupons for free meals, I will have to see if Dave still does that.
This morning in my many phone calls, I had a blessed conversation with my brother Daryl, and he was sharing the news of the day was really getting him upset and sad. I understand, I told him as I do the news 7 days at week at FGGAM. He stated that he really does not understand those that are not paying attention to what is going around them. I again states that I understood, I told him there are far to many Pastor’s and Christians that are not paying attention to the world we live in.
The Lord put it on my heart to share an article that the Baptist Convention of New Mexico Executive Director Joseph Bunce wrote in the August 30th edition of the Baptist New Mexican.
Here is part of it……….
I have never desires fame, but I have often prayed that God would allow me to live a life of principles. My favorite verses in the entire Bible are Proverbs 30: 7-9, which is a prayer that is my constant prayer.
“Two things I ask of You;
don’t deny them to me before I die:
Keep falsehood and deceitful words far from me.
Give me neither poverty nor weath;
feed me with the food I need.
Otherwise, I might have too much
and deny You, saying, ‘Who is the LORD?’
or I might have nothing and steal.
profaning the name of my God”

I have also developed a list of five principles that I have sought to direct my everyday life. They are based on five simple words,: love, learn, listen, laugh and lead.
1. Love God, love others and love my enemies. Matthew 5:43
2. Learn from God and others. Matthew 11: 28-30
3. Listen to God and to those I seek to serve. 1 Corinthians 4: 1-5
4. Laugh. Don’t take everything so serious. Proverbs 17:22, Ecclesiastes 3:4
5. Lead. God called me to lead my family, both my personal family and my Christian family. Joshua 24:15
The word that I would close this article with is “laugh.” I wish to remind you of the importance of laughter. Martin Luther is quoted as saying, “Your laughter is the measure of your faith.” It is so easy to be overwhelmed with life and forget to laugh.

I also want to share with you, I highly recommend you subscribing to the Baptist New Mexican newspaper by calling Joy Pittman at 505-924-2311. It is one of the best things that I get in the mail!
After I read this to my brother Daryl and I read it over about 5 times, it gave both of us much peace and confidence in our Lord.
I love Dr. Bunce’s five principles for his life…….I try to follow them each day……….and I sure love to laugh! I also just love to learn, everyday I pray to the Lord that I learn more from Him and His ways. Amen!

Every morning I awake and thank the Lord for all of you, friends, friends of the CUP ministry, friends of FGGAM! Son Lar’s and brother Daryl are always amazed at the number of friends we have here at the ministry! We are so grateful to the Lord for all of you, you are precious to us!

Hi Dewey, Craig had his prostate removed this morning. Cancer of the prostate is the
diagnosis. He will be in the Williston, North Dakota hospital in ICU till Friday. Please pray

Craig and Anita have been Dear friends since 1979 when I started at KGCX radio in Sidney, Montana and Williston, North Dakota. Craig was the first coach I ever interviewed as a sports announcer! The Price’s made my transition into radio and Sidney a wonderful experience, one that I am ever grateful for! We love you Craig and Anita! The picture I posted was taken when the Price’s stopped to see us this past year!
How fast two years fly by. Congratulations on the anniversary at FGGAM! It
takes a great deal of trust in the Holy Spirit’s urgings to drop a paid position
and start an Internet ministry. But, look what The Holy Spirit has done in two
short years. An audience of up to 20,000 daily, spans from the United States to
the United Arab Emirates! Truly amazing.
Rene’ and I are happy to provide a monthly donation to the ministry. We are
excited to see where these contributions lead two years from now.

2 Corinthians 9:7 teaches us….Each one of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. You should not give if it makes you unhappy or if you feel forced to give. God loves those who are happy to give.
Julian of Norwich said this: A cheerful giver does not count the cost of what he gives. His heart is set on pleasing and cheering him to whom the gift is given.

Dear friends of FGGAM, we are celebrating 2 years of service to our Lord today. We know it’s just 2 short years, but we want to share God’s Glory with the world and tell you all what HE has done and is doing with FGGAM! God is building a worldwide family here, some days 20,000 readers come to this site for news and information. Our top 25 most reached countries include: Israel, Nigeria, Malaysia, Spain, Pakistan, France, Egypt, Italy, United Arab Emirates, Kenya, South Africa, Philippines, India…just to give you an idea of the reach that God has gifted FGGAM with. In New Mexico God has made us the number one Christian news and inspiration website. It’s all God! Who else could have brought together 35 volunteer writers who gift us with their God given talents on a daily or weekly basis! Only GOD! 2 Cor. 11: 17-18 teaches us: But, “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends. As we say her at FGGAM: For God’s Glory Alone! For God’s Glory Alone preaches, teaches, counsels, helps people, like cleaning the yards of folks that are not able to, for health reasons or financial, we are here to serve, attempting to bring a towel and wash basin into every situation presented to us. We have had a 1994 Ford F-150 pick-up donated to us to haul our lawn equipment around, thank you LORD! God has also blessed us with radio and TV programming, YouTube, and iTunes. God told us to reach one person at a time, to show His light, and we will continue to do that, as that is the mission the Lord has given us. Some months we have not known how we were going to meet our financial obligations, but the Lord has always provided! Thanks so much to all of you who financially support the efforts of FGGAM!! We love you so much! We have learned much in this walk of faith, it seems we learn more everyday about walking in complete faith. One more praise note: Sharon and I are in AWE of GOD…..we look at what God has done and is doing…we are just in plain AWE of our LORD! With our preaching, teaching, counseling, and all the media the Lord has given us, in the last year we have reached over a half-million people, and closing in very fast on ONE MILLION! ….we are in AWE and in tears of the power of our Lord. Our little ministry is ran out of my man cave in our house. Only God can take so little and make it so huge for HIM!, For HIS Glory!
Rescue the perishing…that’s the vein of prayer Holy Spirit thrust us into this morning during pastors’ prayer. From Him, for Him, in Him, by Him all things were created, therefore, He is able to rescue us in every situation. He is our salvation, our hope, our healing, our deliverance, our prosperity, our inheritance, our peace…our all in all. In Him nothing is impossible…we have been rescued by Him!
This theme carried on into the night as we gathered at New Life City in Holy Spirit worship and prayers of intercession were released. “A season of change is upon us. The Spirit of Change will motivate My children into action. Living Water shall cascade down upon the land from the headwaters of this state. The roar of My Living Water shall awaken the camp of My people and they shall go forth into the dark, hidden places, along the highways and byways, and compel the lost, the disadvantaged, the disenfranchised, the forgotten and discarded to come in and feast at the Lord’s table of provision. Many shall be rescued out of captivity and bondage into the liberty of knowing the Truth, rescued out of sickness and disease by knowing the Healer, rescued out of want and need by knowing the Provider, rescued out of despair and depression by knowing the Deliverer, rescued out of sorrow and mourning by knowing the Comforter…there shall be a rescuing of the perishing! The Redeemed of the Lord say so, so be it, Amen!”
The song of the Spirit shall permeate the atmosphere and once again we shall join the voices of the angels proclaiming over all peoples, “Awake, awake of sleepers! Arise from the dead and the Light of Christ shall shine upon you! Worthy, worthy is the Lamb… He deserves it all, for by Him and for Him were all things created and all things are held together in Him!”
God revealed Himself during worship, standing at a fresh canvas of time, His palette filled with vibrant colors of who He is, and with a spatula laden with oils of deep blue He began to paint an image of splendor. I said, “Lord what is that?” and He responded, “My face”. The expression poured forth out onto the canvas as a flow of deep royal blue, becoming lighter and lighter, as if the days was unfolding out of the majesty of the night, until it erupted into a dazzling display of pure white light. He said, “I have bowed the heavens and come down, now let My Light shine through you as Love! Rescue the perishing!”
“And so we know and rely on the love of God for us. God is Love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God lives in him.” (1John 4:16)
