I am a Great Uncle! My sister Deb’s daughter gave birth to an angel on Wed. They have not named this girl angel yet, I suggested Dewey! I have not heard from my sister or Megan since! HA! HA!

Here is Amy’s update from her cat/pt scan on Tuesday, we are so thankful for all of you and your prayers. Amy wrote:Woohoo! Praise God! Results of the latest scan shows no hypermetabolic activity…bone damage is stable, which means that the cancer cells are there, but they are not active, not consuming energy, which means they are dead! The assistant told me that new mets are unlikely when the causing cells are dead..The healing will happen as I continue the zometa…. My dear friends, I am so grateful for your prayers and your support. This isn’t over yet, I20have two more months of chemo (I have a conservative doctor, thank you God, who wants to make sure….) and will continue on herceptin for awhile to make sure if there are any rogue cells they will not find it easy to reproduce! He says if it comes back we will be just as aggressive next time. I can’t tell you what a joy this is, I have been so very tired, wondering where I would get the energy to do what has to be done, but I feel totally invigorated! Pain with a purpose, yuck that is working, is so much more bearable! :0) May God bless you all this holiday season. May you find peace and joy in Him and with your loved ones, and know that you are definitely loved and appreciated here in Pasadena by t

Many of you have said you are praying for Bo. A young man that needs a Christmas Miracle in his life, to rid him of the mental and physical aliments he has. We now have Rick Warren’s Church, Saddleback, praying with us here at KKIM and the Daily Cup! PRAISE GOD!!! I pray that more Church’s will come forward and let the walls down and join us!!!!!

We also are praying for Lynne Buggs as she goes through treatment for cancer. Please continue to pray for Lynne. Lynne has been dealing with her cancer for 9 years!

You bet Roy……..as Chuck Swindoll says………We came in naked and we will leave naked………..I said years ago that we American’s were getting to think pretty big of ourselves driving those big Hummers, A Military vehicle for heavens sake………buying this and that………now look at our country! GREED will get us know where. Our country has been putting the almighty dollar first, not GOD.
This morning I want to share with you something from Chuck Swindoll’s book he wrote on the life of Moses…

We have been talking about leadership………God wants us to be leaders……..leaders for Jesus……..Having you everyday here having a Cup and listening to KKIM makes you a leader for Jesus, as you pray for HIS people.
Chuck writes……..
Moses became God’s man for a transitional epoch in history. When the divine call came to assume a crucial role in the destiny of men and nations, Moses stepped into the gap. he may have been reluctant. he may have been frightened. he may have been filled with regret and self-doubt.(You have been there right?) But in the end Moses yielded……and became God’s instrument in his own generation.
It is the same in this generation, at this epochal moment. God is still looking for the man or women who will believe HIM, despite weaknesses and doubts, and become a mighty tool in HIS hand……and instrument of HIS purpose.
WOW! Good stuff………

Hey Dewey, It was good to check in with you last Friday. You and your brother have been in my thoughts and prayers. I was happy to see in a recent email that you two are having some good communication. That is wonderful. So many times people like your brother find themselves estranged from family members. Your brother is blessed to have you there to talk to. I pray that he will make miraculous strides as he deals with such difficult obstacles. I just picture you two walking a conquerors, shoulder to shoulder despite the distance. Hope in Today, with Karen Rowe
This morning we will start our day in unity believing for hope above all things that come against us!
The scriptures tell us how to have hope when it seems to hard.
Is there anything too big for God? My faith says no, because my hope is Jesus!
And we are not forgotten just because we don’t always see immediate change.
The treasury of God’s hope is found through refocusing our eyes, mind and heart to look up to God with an attitude of Jesus.
With trust and faith in God and His Word…more than believing, more than understanding…Faith is powered by our HOPE in Jesus in all things!
Praise God for a living HOPE!
Is anything too big for God?
God’s promise to us is that HE will never leave or forsake us!
We must do our part and learn the rest that Jesus teaches us…more than learn…we must be obedient to God’s way…I encourage us to learn and live in the ministry of Jesus!
Our hope is designed to be powerful, but only if our heart is in a attitude of Jesus…
Jesus teaches, “ye of so little faith…Why do you fear”
Our God is our Father and HE is above all things. HIS power is divine and HE loves us!
Is God above your problem? Certainly! HE IS…If you fear, then fear is getting in the way of your hope. Don’t look at the problem…LOOK higher to God!
Jesus is our hope and by learning God’s WORD we are enabled by HIS strength to stay out of our own way!
God is pleased to give us the Kingdom…but we must search our heart and refocus our eyes, mind and heart on seeking God 1st.
But how do we seek God 1st when we don’t “feel ” emotionally strong???
We say, “LORD help me”
Jesus IS our strength because HE knows we are weak.
Refocusing our heart to seek God 1st above all emotions that Jesus details in scripture.
Looking today with a focus on Matthew Chapter 5 thru at least the end of Chapter 7. Please read! It is the treasury of God’s hope.
Peace and Joy are our gifts from God! Enjoy the love that God so freely gives! Praise to God in the highest, as in unity we thank God for blessing us with HIS love!
