Dear KKIM Family,
Keep this day in your prayers as 50,000 Muslim’s march on Washington DC today for prayer to their God. Let us pray that they will accept the Lord Jesus Christ. More on this is posted below.
“Jesus never taught His disciples how to preach, only how to pray. He did not speak much of what was needed to preach well, but much of praying well. To know how to speak to God is more important than knowing how to speak to man. Not power with men, but power with God is the first thing. Jesus loves to teach us how to pray.” Andrew Murray
Today and all days we need to carry out the Great Commission and put on the Armor of God. Matt 28: 16-20 and Eph 6: 10-20
“Don’t panic. I’m with you. There’s no need to fear for I’m your God. I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you. I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.” Isaiah 41:10 (MSG)

God Knows Our Sadness
I thought that Dancing with the Stars did an awesome tribute to Patrick Swayzie, but it left me feeling sad.
I was confused about why I was sad… when I believe in Heaven. After all he was suffering here on earth and in Heaven there will be no more suffering.
God, as always, leads us to understanding when we seek HIM in HIS word! And for me, today, God put HIS Word on my heart about my confusion about experiencing sadness when there is Victory!
John 11:33
“Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping…He groaned in the spirit and was troubled. vs 35 “He wept.”
Jesus knew there is victory over death, and yet HE wept.
vs 36 “Then the Jews said, “See how He loved him!”
Although I didn’t personally know Patrick Swayzie, I did sense a bond in Christ with him…that God given love through Jesus…and also, his movies were marks in my life that I remember…and now he is gone as I knew him on this earth. But, 1 Corinthians 15:57 “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
I did a show in November on this topic: God Knows Our Sadness”
I thanked God for the opportunity to share in such an awesome way to bring comfort to another as we rejoice in the Glory of God! We all experience sadness…sometimes it comes with confusion.
We react in the face of death… with sadness, but our trust in the gospel makes all the difference!
1 Thessalonians 4:17-18
“And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words….from vs 15-18.
Today’s show, if I remember correctly is God lead to reveal just how much Jesus can do for us…Jesus is the water that washes our sins away.
The show is entitled:
Jesus IS God’s Ability To Make Us New
It may be a little slow…but the meaning is there…To God be the Glory!
In Christ’s Name,
Karen Rowe

NM NEWS & VIEWS FOR THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2009
THIS IS THE WORLD WE LIVE IN!
What a POWERFUL program Today! (Jesus Is The Wisdom & Power Of God, According to Paul The Apostle in The Word Of God, The Truth, which Is JESUS and that’s what we bring forth every weekday here on KKIM) I want you to read the following Scriptures, before we get started tonight, especially James 4:4 & Romans 5:10. You can’t make this news up!
James 4:1-17 (NASB)
1 What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is not the source your pleasures that wage war in your members?
2 You lust and do not have; so you commit murder. You are envious and cannot obtain; so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.
3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures.
4 You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
5 Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: “He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us”?
6 But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, “God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”
7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
9 Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom.
10 Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.
11 Do not speak against one another, brethren. He who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.
12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor?
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.”
14 Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
15 Instead, you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.”
16 But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.
17 Therefore, to one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Romans 5:1-21 (NASB)
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
4 and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;
5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—
13 for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even over those who had not sinned in the likeness of the offense of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
15 But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many.
16 The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification.
17 For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.
18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men.
19 For as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, even so through the obedience of the One the many will be made righteous.
20 The Law came in so that the transgression would increase; but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,
21 so that, as sin reigned in death, even so grace would reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dear Friends,
I am quoting from an urgent letter sent by Lou Engle of the Call and Shirley Dobson of America’s National Day of Prayer, asking if you would join us in praying about the “rising tide of Islamic boldness being manifested” in the USA. They write:
Several happenings are converging this week. First of all, our President has recently proclaimed, honored, encouraged the Muslim holy days of prayer and fasting called Ramadan. He was very silent on the National Day of Prayer but very vocal on the support of Ramadan…At the same time, on the 25th of September, Muslims are calling for a Muslim Day of Prayer in Washington DC (http://www.islamoncapitolhill.com/). They are calling for 50,000 Muslims to gather and pray on the DC Mall. This is the exact word of one of the Sheikhs who is leading this historic gathering, “Muslims should march on the White House. We are going to the White House so that Islam will be victorious, Allah willing, and the White House will become into a Muslim house.” These are not empty words. They speak of a dark spiritual intent and a coming day of great trouble to America.
Now these events are enough to awaken us to this significant throbbing moment, but when they all converge it becomes a massive spiritual alarm that must be responded to by the praying Church.~This convergence, I believe, is urgently summoning us in the midst of the rising tide of Islamic influence in America to recognize that our God is above every god and that if we return to Him with all of our hearts and call upon Him with fasting and prayer then God could use what the enemy meant for evil to bring about a great day of salvation for Muslims in America.
The organizers go on to call the Church of America to “fast and pray that Muslims would be moved by the Holy Spirit, convicted by the testimony of Christ, and even be visited by Jesus in dreams” and affirm that “we must pray that God would restrain the spiritual powers behind Islam and grant us the great awakening that we desperately need for America”.
Let’s pray about this crucial situation that the growing influence of Islam will be broken and that Muslims will be brought to the Lord. Pray for President Obama who outwardly professes to be a Christian that he will not fall under this influence due to political correctness or other motives but that he will give himself fully to Jesus Christ.
A Global Prayer Network website is being developed over the next several weeks to connect intercessors worldwide to pray for our world. This is a truly thrilling thing that the Lord has brought about in the past few months! There are more than 20 ministry organizations and networks who are now supporting this, and the website will not be owned by any one organization so that it will genuinely be a resource for the whole Body of Christ to use. Please pray for the team of web developers who are beginning work now- for His creativity, unity and clarity, and that they will produce a tool that will be user-friendly and effective in connecting people to pray. Pray for the word to get out to God’s people around the world, and that thousands- eventually millions- will utilize it to pray more deeply and intelligently about the issues of their cities, nations, regions and our planet.
I don’t usually ask prayer for individuals but this is a very important request for a key family in His kingdom’s work around the world. Jewel Tunnicliffe, wife of Geoff Tunnicliffe, the CEO of the World Evangelical Alliance, has been suddenly stricken with a large growth that may be cancer. It has developed quickly and the doctors are trying to understand the situation. Please pray for her healing, that the tumor will decrease in size and disappear from her body, and that she will be fully restored by the power of the Lord. Pray for His peace and confidence for her and her family as well.
Thanks for your partnership in bringing these things to His throne.
Warm greetings,
John Robb
