Dear KKIM Family,
Praise God that we can be together today!
Thanks for sharing a Cup with us with a bit of honey in it!
Let us pray for each other and our families!
One of the messages that God keep’s putting on my heart is to share about listening for God and talking to God.
As you know I love to read……and the book I am reading on and off again is Becky Tirabassi’s, “Let God Talk to You” Pastor Leonard has read it and says it is AWESOME!
Becky says, “It takes guts to say that God talks to you!” Many are afraid to state that!
I have to tell you that I love to hear the term “guts” when it comes to Christians, because we need to have GUTS!!!! I guess that comes from my childhood days!!!
Well, God does talk to me! AMEN!
Here read this:
Wait a minute! I have to share this, part of my growth in my walk with Jesus Christ is all those around me….all those around me and Sharon. Today in this CUP I mention Dr. Deb, Keli, Rachel, Pastor Barry Dickens, Pastor Leonard, all who have helped Sharon and I grow in Christ. We all need the family of God, it will rocket our growth in Jesus!!!
Okay…….
Andrew Murray (I am reading his works also) he is the 19th Century South African religious leader and author of a number of classics on prayer, teaching the concept of hearing God speak was never meant to be a complicated, strictly intellectual endeavor, reserved for those who aspired to or held positions of spiritual leadership. He taught that ANYONE could hear God talk to them if they would read God’s Word. He was adamant that reading the Bible was a necessary activity in the life of any man or woman who wanted to sustain a healthy, vibrant personal relationship with God. Murray found Psalm 119 to be a perfect place to SOAK up God’s Words, to hear Him counsel, guide, convict, lift, and comfort the reader.
Psalm 119:89 states, “Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens,” What doubts are demolished when you consider that God’s Word was before all time?
Psalm 119:114 professes, “Your Word is my only hope” On any given day, who does not need hope, guidance, or comfort?
Psalm 119:105 claims, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.” Is there a day that goes by when you don’t need important and timely advice before making a decision?
Psalm 119:160 explains, “The very essence of your Words is truth” Whose words but God’s can be so fully trusted?
Becky writes……..
I encourage you to picture yourself having a personal, two way conversation with God as you read through all one hundred and seventy-six verses of Psalm 119. To acknowledge that God is talking to you, underline or paraphrase any verses that relate to your life, encourage your faith, or motivate you to do something specific. Eventually, read each of the psalms as if it were your own personal profession of faith and written commitment of trust in God and His Word.
At the bottom of this post………a segment on Marriage and Divorce please read.

Our prayers are with Rachel and family. It is always so heart warming to see the Christian way of life passed from generation to generation! PRAISE GOD!
Let us also pray for the families of the four Police Officers who were shot to death in the Seattle area. Can you imagine, just going about your day and someone opens fire on you and kills you? You had just finished your shift of protecting Citizens.
Also please pray for Pastor Bob who has been having health challenges.
We at KKIM www.mykkim.com are so grateful to the Lord for all the wonderful local programming we have on the air. The Lord has helped us develop strong local Radio Ministry programs like Dr. Deb……….Please prayfully consider supporting these programs with a financial gift. That is how our National and Local programs are able to stay on the air. We are also very thankful for our National line-up of programs! We thank the Lord for the programs that He has brought to KKIM. Please help support them and please pray about supporting them on a monthly basis. It is all about carrying out the Great Commission. We need your help!

Thanks Dr. Deb! You are an angel!!!
Let me share a few things on my mind this morning……….
We as God’s people need to take a look at this…….and not just laugh it off……..Could God be speaking thru this man????
From the AP news Service:
John Marcotte wants to put a measure on the California ballot next year to ban divorce.
The effort is meant to be a satirical statement after California voters outlawed gay marriage in 2008, largely on the argument that a ban is needed to protect the sanctity of traditional marriage. If that’s the case, then Marcotte reasons voters should have no problem banning divorce.
Okay, I believe there is a message in there for God’s people! I know first hand the destruction of divorce. Since I have become a Pastor I have people wanting me to marry them. None that have asked have a home Church. Before Sharon and I got married we went thru 6 months of counseling with Pastor Barry Dickens. He told us at the start that we could always get married but depending on how the sessions went he MAY NOT marry us. Barry dug up all the ugly and good of our past lives….. it has made for a strong marriage for Sharon and I. We as God’s people need to reach out to those that have no home Church, and welcome them in. Show them the love of God, see how Stern Pastor Barry was..but in a loving way..tough love, because he cared. We have to help prepare people to marry. I really believe in pre-marriage counseling sessions in a Godly way! Divorce would go down!!!!
ACCOUNTABILITY IS A MUST IN THE BODY OF CHRIST
Let us pray…………
Dear Lord, Thank you for this day to serve You in mighty ways.let us not waste the day away. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!!!
In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
