A problem is something that can be solved. A fact of life is something that must be accepted. Know the difference. John Maxwell
Sometimes we turn to God when OUR FOUNDATIONS ARE SHAKING only to find that it is God who is shaking them.

We have this prayer need…………
Dewey,
My daughter is doing much better, Praise God. Thank you so much for the prayerful support from you and the readers of the Cup.
I now have another request; I’ve been diagnosed w/Fifths Disease (actually, the Drs. strongly suspect, we’re waiting on confirmation via blood work). Fifths is something that primarily affects children and often goes unnoticed as the symptoms w/them are similar to a common cold. In adults the virus settles in your joints causing severe, arthritic-like, swelling and pain. My hands and feet are swollen beyond recognition and I am experiencing pain in literally every joint in my body – knees, hips, ankle, fingers, elbows, toes, spine and most pointedly in my wrists and neck. In most cases, the virus resolves w/in a week or two, but I read online that some unfortunate people have had to suffer with it for six months or more.
Please, please, please ask your readers to pray for a quick recovery. I feel silly even complaining when so many people suffer from ailments that are far worse, but the truth of the matter is I am in pain like I’ve never known. Talk about a reminder to be appreciative of the good health the Lord has blessed me with…
Again, I thank you for this, and for all that you do on behalf of our Saviour.
Much love,
Taunya
Please pray for Taunya……….
Pastor Don and his lovely wife Dorothy are going into a new season of their life for the Lord……..
Dear friends,
Pastor Don Kimbro, whose program, “Nuggets of Truth,” is heard on KKIM Monday-Friday at 7:30 AM & PM is retiring from pastoral ministry after 33 years. Now he would like to turn his attention to helping restore churches that have been damaged and are hurting. His method is simple, “Preach the Word, and love the people.” If you know of any church in your area that needs help, please have them contact Pastor Don at www.MyKKIM.com or www.heightschristian.org. Thank you.
Please keep Don and Dorothy in your prayers………..
Sharon wanted to share this with us…………This fits in so well with our theme this Month on Marriage and the Family……..Don’t forget it is not to late to register for the Weekend To Remember Marriage Conference this weekend……go to www.mykkim.com and get signed up! God Bless you! The Weekend To Remember is full of excellent lessons on how to be a better parent.
WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN’T LOOKING
This message is one every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each other.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn’t
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it’s all right to cry.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.
When you thought I wasn’t looking I learned most of
life’s lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn’t looking, I looked at you and
wanted to say, “Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn’t looking.”

The end…
As I was walking
Down life’s highway
Many years ago
I came upon a
Sign that read
Heavens Grocery Store.
When I got a
Little closer
The doors swung
Open wide
And when I came
To myself
I was standing
Inside.
I saw a host of
Angels.
They were
Standing everywhere
One handed me a
Basket
And said ‘My
Child shop with care..’
Everything a
Human needed
Was in that
Grocery store
And what you
Could not carry
You could come
Back for more
First I got some
Patience.
Love was in that
Same row.
Further down was
Understanding,
You need that
Everywhere you go.
I got a box or
Two of Wisdom
And Faith a bag
Or two.
And Charity of
Course
I would need some
Of that too.
I couldn’t miss
The Holy Ghost
It was all over
The place.
And then some
Strength
And Courage to
Help me run this race.
My basket was
Getting full
But I remembered
I needed Grace,
And then I chose
Salvation for
Salvation was for
Free
I tried to get
Enough of that to do
For you and me.
Then I started to
The counter
To pay my grocery
Bill,
For I thought I
Had everything
To
do the Masters
Will.
As I went up the
Aisle
I saw Prayer and
Put that in,
For I knew when I
Stepped outside
I would run into
Sin.
Peace and Joy
Were plentiful,
The last things
On the shelf.
Song and Praise
Were hanging near
So I just helped
Myself.
Then I said to
The angel
‘Now how much do
I owe?’
He smiled and
Said
‘Just take them
Everywhere you go.’
Again I asked
‘Really now,
How much do I
Owe?’
‘My child’ he
Said, ‘God paid your bill
A long long time
Ago.’
This poem has
Been sent to you
With love and for
Blessings..
Let us pray………
