Dear KKIM family,
Let us reflect on these words from Corrie Ten Boom……….
There is no panic in Heaven! God has no problems, only plans -Corrie Ten Boom
AMEN! PRAISE GOD!!!!
Dear KKIM Family,
May the Peace and Strength of the Lord be with you and yours!
Much will be written and said over the coming days, weeks and months, and maybe years about the passage of the Health Care Bill………..But the Lord is in Charge….Our Lord is above all this………He sits on the throne!
Here are a few nuggets………….
Tweet From Greg Fast: Healthcare passes. I disagree, but my hope is not in healthcare. My hope is in the Lord. What can man or policy do to shake that? Nothing.
Tweet from John Sykes: I now only hope that this sadness and despair will be dispelled by an overwhelming dedication to the recovery of America’s greatness!

Yesterday we put out a need for prayer for Grace Cordova’s Mother……….Here is this AWESOME PRAISE REPORT………
Dewey, thank you so much! Good news! Both echo-cardio and nuclear stress tests came back negative for any cardiac probs, in fact Mom’s heart is quite healthy and beautifully strong – praise God!
We still don’t know what’s at the root of the problem, as she experienced some pretty severe discomfort yesterday and we were quite frightened for her. But at least we know it’s not life-threatening and she might even go home tonight! She’ll just have to follow up w/her regular Doc in the next day or so.
With this good news, we embark on our drive bk home to Albuquerque, grateful that the Father has heard our prayers and blessed Mom and our family with His loving kindness.
However I must also say thank you, thank God and thanks to all of our generous brothers and sisters for their thoughts and prayers as I do believe our Father hears and grants us mercy and grace.
Thank you, again, for laying down your life as an instrument of the Lord. I am humbly grateful to have you as my friend and part of my Christ-centered network. You are a great role model for all of us. May God continue to bless you and your work now and always.
Grace Cordova.
Yesterday Sharon and I and a few friends from her work attended First Christian Church in Albuquerque. I have passed that Church for 15 years as I drive around Albuquerque, what a wonderful place of worship!!!
We got to see the African Children’s Choir perform! What a treat! Go to www.africanchildrenschoir.com
They sang and danced to the Lord! They sang songs like……You are the Shepherd, I belong to you…………..Oh happy days………He’s got the Whole World in his hands………The African Children’s Choir was established in 1984 and now has 8,000 Children in schools, 35 schools. Raising up children from poverty to great things…..like Doctor’s, Teachers, etc……..Sharon and I are going to be a sponsor!
This Wed. The African Children’s Choir will be at St. Johns Methodist Church in Santa Fe at 7pm
Thursday at St. James Episcopal Church in Taos at 7pm
Friday at Calvary Church in Pueblo, Colo at 7pm
We are going back to visit First Christian Church again this weekend for the Living Last Supper.

Sat. March 27 7pm
Sun March 28 5pm
The Church is just east of Montgomery and Eubank on the North side of Montgomery. Call 294-0630 for more info.
By the way I made a special friend yesterday…..Bob who has had 18 mini strokes, 4 major strokes he is 79 yrs of age and served our Country in Korea. I told Bob that Korea was no CONFLICT, it was a WAR! Bob said, you are so right! He was shot down in Korea and suffered major injuries. He is now in a wheel chair……..One of our many heroes!!!!! It is a shame this was called a conflict in our history books! It was all out war. My Uncle Burton Moede also served during the Korean War.
We are back on the road again visiting Church’s……….Let us know if we can come see you and share!
Let us pray………….
Lord, We thank you for the many brave souls like Bob……Thank you Lord for the brave souls that defend our Country……Thank you Lord for watching over Grace’s Mother and family. Thank you for all the children of the African Children’s Choir, may we all express the freedom in YOU, like they do!!! Thank you for the folks at the First Christian Church. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and family
Dear KKIM Family,
This from Grace…please be in prayer…Please circulate to your prayer groups…..Thank you and PRAISE THE LORD!
Good Morning Dewey,
Hope you and yours are doing well this beautiful Sunday.
We are in Arizona for what was supposed to be a long, peaceful Spring weekend with my mother and brothers, enjoying the gorgeous warm weather. However yesterday, Mom began experiencing sudden chest and upper back pain, pain around her throat, shortness of breath, difficulty swallowing and breathing and a pesky low grade fever.
She was admitted to the Tucson Heart Hospital where they are conducting tests to identify the problem but so far we’re not sure what’s wrong. Her symptoms are not typical cardiac indicators, though they will be conducting a nuclear stress test today. The cat scan conducted last night eliminated a possible pulmonary embolism (thank goodness!) and they’re exploring the possibility of some kind of infection as the cause of the fever.
As of this writing it looks like I’m going to have to bless my daughter and my fiance and send them on to the 8-hr drive back to Albuquerque so they can go back to school and work tomorrow, while I stay and try to keep Mom calm while we explore what could be causing such discomfort and such an odd mix of symptoms.
Please be so kind as to request prayer from our brothers and sisters that the nice Docs at the Heart Hosp here can identify what’s wrong with Mom so she may receive the necessary treatment and recover quickly. Naturally, we’re very worried and mystified as to what could create this kind of reaction.
Dewey, as always, I am grateful for you kindness and your friendship. Your work is blessed and we are all blessed as a result of it.
May God continue to guide the work of your hands.
Love,
Grace Cordova
