Dear Friends,
 
Greetings from South Korea where colleagues and I have become drawn into a prayer effort with the developing South Korean national prayer network and its burden for North Korea. North Korea is a nation where probably the worst oppression and evil is concentrated on the planet– 4 million have needlessly died of starvation since 1995 while theregime feasted and sold the international food aid on the black market. Famineis now stalking the land again. It is also the worst human rights abuser aswell as persecutor/killer of Christians on earth.
 
Please see the attached document on Genocide in North Korea with its link to a Youtube video. Also, I have includedsome of the salient facts below as a prayer guide, looking at all of thisthrough the perspective of Ezekiel 37. This will be part of the prayer focus forthe a session that I will facilitate tonight here in Seoul as part of a South Korean- arranged event – the “Jesus Army”- that is praying for North Korea.
 
North Korea is just about an hour’s drive north from where I am writing this. There, across the DMZ (DemilitarizedZone), the evil one has a colossal stronghold that needs to be finally broken. It is the horror of the Nazis and holocaust revisited, and most people do notrealize how appallingly awful it really is there. Thus, it is allowed to continue as if this is just the way it has to be– for sixty long years of indescribable suffering for the people under the oppressive, totalitarian regime of Kim Jong Il and his father before him.  Governments of surrounding nations as well as in the West have been bluffed, threatened and intimidated into doing very little to stop thisunbearable situation. China is especially culpable for propping up such an heinously wicked regime, knowing full well what is has been doing to harm itsown people in what has been termed “the largest prison camp on earth”.
 
However, we believe God is orchestrating a process of liberation that will be catalyzed through united prayer. Reports coming out of North Korea about political transition and turmoil confirm that something is happening. This week’s “Jesus Army” interdenominational event here in Seoul will be part ofwhat we think will be a process of deliverance that will culminate next year in an international prayer initiative with South Korean and other prayer leaders from around the world.  A number of us are convinced that liberation is coming soon! Please pray with us towards this end.
 
Tonight, I am speaking for a session on united, authoritative prayer,  followed by what hopefully will be an all-outbattle in the Spirit for breakthrough in NK. My heart has been deeply stirred about the worsening plight of many millions of these people, huge numbers of which are children and orphans roaming the streets to pick up a few fallen grains of rice. The words of World Vision’s founder, Bob Pierce- “Let myheart be broken by the things that break the heart of God”- are what come to mind.  May all our hearts be broken by this intolerable situation!
World Vision arose out of this same territory during the Korean War, as did theGreat Revival of 1907 (from Pyongyang, capital of North Korea). That revival revolutionized the Korean church and, through its revitalized prayer life, led to the International Prayer Assembly of 1984 and the rapidly growing international prayer movement we see today. No wonder the devil has contested this land and still hopes to maintain it. Let’s spoil his plans by agreeing in prayer for the Lord’s deliverance of North Korea according to His promise! (Matthew 18:18-19)

North Korea 
Ezekiel 37 Valley of dry bones. Bones=a nation, the house of Israel who say “Our bones dried up and hope gone, we are cut off.” Reminds us of North Korea, a seemingly hopeless place. 
·     The nation has been called “the largest prison camp in world”.
·     “Worst human rights violating country”
·     “Worst persecutor of Christians”
·     4 million North Koreans have died of starvation since 1995.
·     The economy has “literally collapsed, operating at about 20%” due to adherenceto the juche ideology of “self-reliance” and centralplanning failures.
·     Famine again stalks the land.
·     500,000 fled to China for survival, mostly women, and 80% of them have beenraped and sexually trafficked
·     1 million killed in concentration camps with cruel brutality
·     North Korean people “the most isolated, most persecuted, and mostsuffering” 
But Godgives Ezekiel a new vision and calls on him to speak it forth.  “Son ofman, can these bones live?” He asks us the same- can North Korea come out ofdesolation and live? Ezekiel tries to put it back on God as we so often do- “Ifit be your will…” But the Lord tells him, “Prophesy to these bones and say..”And, as he prophesied what God told him to say, there was impact,transformation, life from death.
 
Please pray accordingly what the Spiritis putting on your heart for North Korea, declaring what you feel the Lord isgiving you. Together let’s trust Him for the breakthrough that must come forthis enslaved, desolate land and its longsuffering people.

And to think the UN and the Obama Administration think the nut case leader in North Korea understands sanctions! Sanctions have not worked and will not work when you are dealing with Satanic Leaders like in North Korea and Iran. The UN and the Obama Administration are foolish if they think words on paper mean anything to these mad men. The truth is America does not have a foreign policy.

America currently stands in a very dangerous position, said renowned pastor and author Dr. Charles Stanley. Today more than ever, the country is turning away from God and moving closer toward socialism, he warned. And the consequences will be grave. “We know the truth, we know the principles of God. In spite of all that, we find ourselves as a nation violating the laws of God, heading in a direction that is going to be disastrous for us, for our children and the generations that are to come unless there is a change,” he said. Speaking to thousands at First Baptist Church of Atlanta and to a live Web audience on Friday, Stanley delivered a sobering 4th of July message about a dangerous spiritual tide that is engulfing the country and the crucial need for prayer. “There is a tide that has touched the shores of our land and reached the heart of our nation,” he said against the backdrop of the U.S. flag. “It is a tide that is bringing with it ideas and philosophies, actions and attitudes that will ultimately destroy the way of life that you and I have.” The influential pastor and founder of In Touch Ministries listed 12 things involved in the tide. Among them are the financial crisis and the move toward socialism. With the national debt rising by the billions every day and increasing taxation, future generations will likely be left with a debt so heavy that they’ll never be able to spend most of what they make, he said. Addressing the idea of spreading the wealth, Stanley emphasized, “It is not the government’s responsibility to take care of us. It is to protect us. “We’re responsible for taking care of ourselves.” Socialism, he pointed out, is opposed primarily to Christianity and Judaism. “In Christianity, we’re taught to do our best because we’ve been gifted by God. So there’s motivation, willingness and we cooperate,” he explained. “We use our spiritual gifts for the good of everyone.” But under a socialist society, in which the government controls all means of production and distribution, there is no motivation for diligence and creativity is stifled, he said. When there is less reward, there is less to give. And as evidenced in the recent downturn, what suffers first is supporting missionary work. “You see, it affects every single aspect of society,” Stanley warned. He added, “Naturally, when the government takes control, do you think that freedom of speech is always going to be there?” “The tide is bringing in a control that will indeed attempt to silence the truth and will attempt to squash the religious devotion and worship of the people of God.” That tide began creeping in many years ago, he noted, when the government and the courts began banning prayer at schools and removing references to Jesus, God and the Ten Commandments from the public square, Stanley noted. “It is an attempt to destroy the Christian spirit in America,” he said. “There is a war going on against Jesus,” he declared. “It’s part of the strategy. The primary reason for this war against Him is He is interfering with the plan to make this a socialist nation. Mark it down. It is the truth.” Among the other elements of the dangerous tide are: terrorism, turning our backs on Israel, the announcement that the United States is not a Christian nation, increasing national disasters, a departure from the biblical view of marriage, and support for killing the unborn, Stanley listed. “Mark this down for socialism because these three groups of people who do not contribute to the state … are of no value: unborn babies, the elderly and those who are disabled,” said the Atlanta pastor. With the tide moving fast, Stanley issued a charge to Christians to turn it around. He called believers to join him in 140 days of humbling themselves, repenting of sins and praying to God. “The Bible says judgment begins at the house of God. We’re not expecting lost people to do all this because this is the work of the people of God; it is our responsibility,” he stressed. “A lot of where we are is because of our apathy. We haven’t prayed for these men who are making decisions.” “Do you want this nation to keep going where it’s going or do you want us to get back on track?” he posed. Prayer, he said, is the one thing he knows that works. “Do you believe God answers prayer?” he asked. “Pray for God to change the direction of this tide.” He added that those prayers have to be backed up with righteousness and a godly life if they are to be effective and nation-altering. “There has never been a nation like these United States. I was in TN a couple of weeks ago, and people really do not think NM is part of the USA.  I was asked was it hard to enter the US with all of the extra security?  Are you afraid of the all of the drug violence where you live?  Is it ok to drink the water?  Do they use the Dollar where I live? 

I was laughing inside, these people just did not understand.  We need to ask NASA to send outreach to people here in the USA.  It is a shame what is being taught in our schools.  That is why my children do not go to public schools.

Yes, Angelo I think when you look at the poll that 26% of American do not know who we won our Independent’s from….should send off alarms to everyone! But then again all the Politicians will want to do is throw more money at the problem…that’s all they do….throw our money around. The sad thing is many adults in their 30’s and 40’s do not know American History. One of the downfall’s of a society is the lack of knowledge of itself.

When I moved to New Mexico I got so many comments from my friends in the midwest.How are things in Arizona? How close are you to Phoenix? Do you need a passport? (YES! I am serious!!!) Do they speak English there?

Back home in Windom, Minn I had to learn every state Capitol and we had to learn what made every state special. The pride for our Country grew in us by gaining knowledge of our great land, the United States of America. By the way, when did we stop calling ourselves, The United States of America?

We also said the Pledge of Allegiance every morning!

Instead of putting men in space, developing new technologies……………NASA is to improve relations with Muslim Countries………

I am here to tell you that our Men and Women at the Labs here in New Mexico and the people at NASA…..if the President gave them a charge to develop technology to help prevent oil spills like the one we are going through they could do it. If the President called on these people to help with this problem and let our allies help.I really believe that this oil leak would be stopped by God. But we have a President who does not know the Lord and has an ungodly agenda, and as Dr. Charles Stanley said is leading this country downhill quickly into socialism…and that is the TRUTH!!!!

Lord, We pray this morning for Godly leaders to be risen up by YOU, to bring back the United States of America to YOU. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!
