Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May the Strength, Peace and Wisdom of our LORD be with you and yours forever and ever!
It has been a dark time here in New Mexico…….we had the mass killings this week and then yesterday the death of a 2 year old left in a hot car……..and then a mother being beaten to death by her boyfriend in Cuba, NM.
With all this bad news it is easy for some to retreat, but as Pastor Garland Moore said on Dewey’s Daily Cup (Wed’s at 3:30) and on NM News and Views (Weekdays at 4:30) The Church must shine it’s light!
The plan that the Lord has for us is not to deliver us out of the world, but for us to invade the “power of darkness” with all the dominion of Heaven.
I Love what A.W. Tozer says, “Many Christian spend a lot of time and energy making excuses, because they have never broken through into a real offensive for God by the UNLIMITED POWER of the HOLY SPIRIT!!!!
Let us bring others to Jesus Christ!
To bring light to the day……….let me share the following with you……..
Louis Pasteur 1822-1895 was the French scientist who developed the process of “pasteurization” for milk, the vaccines for anthrax and chicken cholera and rabies.
Pasteur said, “Science brings man nearer to God.”
Robert Morris Page 1903-1970 was the physicist who invented pulsation radar used for the detection of aircraft.
He wrote these words:
The authenticity of the writings of the prophets, though the men themselves are human, is established by such things as the prediction of highly significant events far in the future that could be accomplished only through a knowledge obtained from a realm which is not subject to the laws of time as we know them.
One of the great evidences is the long series of prophecies concerning Jesus the Messiah. These prophecies extend hundreds of years prior to the birth of Christ. They include a vast amount of detail concerning Christ himself, His nature and the things He would do when He came—–things which to the natural world, or the scientific world, remain to this day completely inexplicable.
I would read that again and again and let it soak into your mind and soul!

Breakthrough is when Heaven invades the darkness on the earth. Breakthrough interrupts the devil’s plans, and it intrudes upon his works with the works of God. Breakthrough is when the devil’s plans of poverty, lack, sickness, division, decline, and decrease are replaced with God’s plans of abundance, blessing, health, unity, increase, and growth!!!!!
AMEN PRAISE GOD!!!
Will you be part of the invasion for Christ????
Let us pray……………..
Lord, we pray that Your people will put on the Armor of God and invade the darkness and not sit still……..that we will carry out the Great Commission. In the name of Jesus, AMEN!

We have this prayer need……..
 
Good Morning Dewey,
 
Those were some scary financial facts in this morning’s Cup…wow!
 
Also, if you have a moment, I’d like to ask for prayers for my sweet mother, Mickey.  She’s having a procedure done today called a “Cardiac Ablation” ~ essentially, they’re going to feed a wire up from her femoral artery (in her leg), up to her heart, and shock a piece of her heart that is, at times, causing her to have an abnormally high pulse rate.  I’m sure your Sharon is familiar with it.
 
Mom’s been experiencing panic attacks ~ she’s been going through some things that have really stressed her out ~ I’d like to ask for your prayers in regard to this as well.  A few weeks back, she had to head to the ER, as her heart rate had risen above 200.  The procedure is considered relatively low risk, but it’s a little trickier in patients over 75 and my mom is 83-years-young!  We have to be at Presbyterian today at 10:00 a.m. and would so greatly appreciate it if you and your readers/listeners would join us in prayer that the Lord have his hands on her and that all goes well.
 
I can’t thank you enough for your faithfulness and consistently uplifting words.
