Dear KKIM/KARS Family,

Sharon shocked me yesterday! She for the most past is quiet…but yesterday she shocked me……While I was on the air doing NM News and Views she texted me saying she had BREAKING NEWS and that I would want to get it on the air and that she was bringing it to the station!!! WHAT???? It is so bad that she has to bring it to the station??? She never does anything like this! IT MUST BE BAD!!!!! Did something happen to her? The Kids?

 

Sharon comes into the studio while I’m on the air, and hands me a card………a lovely card….and then something wrapped up………

 

I had not idea! NO IDEA!!! She has been working on getting her name changed to Moede, and it happened yesterday. It has been a long process legal wise to get it done. Our Dear friend, Christian Attorney David Standridge sure kept this from me also! Sharon was so thrilled to have it completed that she could not keep from coming to the Radio Ranch to show me! She was trying to get it done for my birthday….but the legal system was slow……….

 

Sharon said that the Judge said you are changing your name to what?……..MOW-DDEE??? How do you say that? Wow. I never would do that! Your husband really is going to owe you!!! The Judge said, My Husband asked me to change my name and I told him to forget it!

 

I had know idea Sharon was working on this so hard…we have talked about it often and saying we will get to it when we get to it! You know how that goes!

 

She is so funny……Usually she is up and getting ready for work early and I asked her yesterday, Are you not going to work? She said she had been called off! She had to tell me that so she could go see the Judge and finalize the documents.

 

So Sharon really caught me off guard yesterday………..She wanted to surprise me! She sure did and she said she wanted to show me how much she loved me…and I said you do that everyday……..in everything you do!

 

Amen……….I I thank you LORD for Sharon. I thank you for her heart for YOU!

 

It also show’s us Men that we always don’t know or need to know what is going on……..I am learning that. The Lord is working with me on that and many things.

 

Focus on the Family announced this week budget cutbacks because of a continued downward trend in giving to the Ministry. I want to share a bit of an email I got from Jim Daly of Focus on the Family……….it’s about fear……….

 

From a worldly perspective, there is uncertainty at every turn. From Wall Street to Main Street there is a growing sense of anxiety and fear among our people.

I see it. I feel it. You do, too.

But what to do about it?

If my life has taught me anything, it’s that periods of uncertainty, though tough, are usually my greatest periods of growth. Instead of leaning on my own capabilities, I’ve been more apt to rely on God.

In other words, my weaknesses actually become my strengths.

Another observation, though something that is as much a word of warning as anything:

Uncertainty also has a habit of breeding and encouraging fear, not faith. We become tentative and cautious, afraid of stirring things up and, presumably, making a bad situation worse. We assume a bunker and hunker down mentality. We’re less inclined to take calculated risks and more likely to play it safe. In essence, we become a shell of the person God intends for us to be.

But where fear paralyzes, faith liberates.

I wonder if you’ve found yourself retreating lately, putting projects and decisions on hold until things seem more certain and predictable? Most people who wait to jump in the hope of better conditions very often wind up not jumping at all.

 

Excellent words from Jim Daly of Focus on the Family on KKIM/KARS weekdays at 6am and 1pm. We must not retreat…..we must not become weak……….we must be the Salt and Light of the World! If not us…..Who?

 

Please be in prayer in supporting the Ministry programs on KKIM/KARS….they need our help! Let us operate under God’s economy and not the economy of man!

 

Here is the bottom line Friends……..Much of the future of Christian Radio and TV is up to you! I shared with you last week that a Christian Radio station in Dallas went off the air……Much of the future of Christian Ministries is in our hands. I have been warning of this for years now. The Lord had shown me this years ago.

 

God gives us visions……..and we have to work with that vision and follow HIS WILL……God will speak to you…..

 

Habakuk 2:1-4 gives us 5 principles about vision……….

Vision Given: God alone gives the vision

 

Vision Written: Write down what God is saying to you.

 

Vision Declared: Communicate by faith what God has put on your heart.

 

Vision Faithed: Trust God via prayer until HE fulfills it.

 

Vision Realized: If God says it, in time HE will do it!

 

What if you fail?

 

What if it does not happen?

 

Hear what God is saying to you through HIS Word! God does speak to us! Have you heard from God lately? If not, you are doing something wrong! Listen for our LORD, HE will speak to you!

 

Write down what God is saying to you.

 

Declare it verbally………I do this all the time!

 

Wait in faith……….yes I know it is hard at times!

 

God is the one who brings it to reality, not you! Read that again…….GOD BRINGS IT TO REALITY, NOT YOU!!!!!

 

When the “what ifs” dominate you, you are not thinking big enough.

              The Flood in four Province of Pakistan?????

We will share with you urgent prayer request for Pakistani Christian Community is facing flooding problems, many challenge.  At least 3 Millions people are disturbed & affect, victim so far issued new flood warnings, as heavy rains are expected to inflict more misery on areas where at least 1,500 people have already been killed and 980,000 more have lost their homes were damaged and a key trade highway to China was blocked by the flooding. The entire infrastructure we built in the last 50 years has been destroyed.

Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority, estimated that roughly three million people were now affected by floods in the country – 1.5 million in the northwest and the same number in Punjab. The rush of water spilling from rivers in Punjab has threatened to destroy vast areas of crops, prompting the United Nations to warn that an estimated 1.8 million people might need food aid in the coming weeks.

People sought refuge on rooftops and tried to bring their livestock up as far as possible. In the northwest, rising water levels at Warsak Dam, the country’s third biggest, prompted disaster officials to ask residents in the northern outskirts of Peshawar city to leave their homes. Families are stranded and desperate for food. There are 40,000 children in the region, many of whom are already going hungry. When aid does get to them the atmosphere can be very tense.

Many residents who lost their homes and livelihood also complained that they had not received any advance warning that raging waters were heading their way. The military said more than 54,000 people had been rescued from flood-hit areas and moved to safer places, with 40 helicopters and 450 army boats mobilized as part of the rescue effort.

Many millions people have lost their lives; many more are stranded and exposed to disease and extreme lack of food. Thousands have been displaced. Other impacts include the loss of livestock and damage to agricultural crops and fields.  It is estimated that more than a million people have been affected thus far; the total estimated damages and affected population are yet to be determined due to inaccessibility caused by rising flood waters and disruption to communication networks. Immediate needs include food, water, tents and other non-food items.
The Swat valley, which has yet to recover from a major Pakistani army offensive against Taliban fighters just over a year ago, is one of the areas worst affected by the floods. Large parts of the valley’s upper regions, reached by a riverside road, are inaccessible. Scores of bridges, roads and building have been washed away by the torrents.  Swat, in northwestern Pakistan, was hit the hardest by the floods which submerged extensive areas, brought down bridges and swept away entire villages.

I know that your prayers can change nations. Pray also for the all saints, religious & political worldwide leaders (1-Tim 2:1-3) that they might repent of their hardness of heart and come to salvation through Christ. Please help with your prayers that we can win “All worldwide religious & political worldwide leaders” as well as that other country for Jesus Christ.  May God blesses you all who pray for us. I hope every Christians in our countries have freedom very soonest & growing rapidly in Christ. Thank you so very much. Jesus blesses you all. May God grant you a great harvest as you plant and water for Him!

It really has been humbling to be on Kyle Martin’s program, Time To Revive, the last couple of days.(Time To Revive got it’s start on KKIM and now is heard worldwide) The programs aired yesterday and today…with the next one at 4pm our time today. The tapings took place while I was in Dallas. I was talking to Kyle last night by phone and he said was it weird listening to yourself on the radio right before your program? I said, no, but how the Lord works…..I am always amazed…….After recording a tribute to my friend Tom Branch and talking about how Tom influenced my life and then listening to Time To Revive and how you feel I influenced your life……it is like WOW! We are all here to encourage each other and you do not always know how you influence others. It is so important to lift people up not down. I wish I would have been closer to the Lord years ago! Also, my friends, don’t wait until someone has left this earth to tell them how much you love them and how they have helped you in your life, Tell them! Encourage them! The Encourager needs Encouragement !!!

I am at the point in my relationship with the Lord that my head is full……..that is how I describe it to Sharon……..full of amazement……..of blessings……..I do not always…or maybe most of the time really understand everything…but I trust………in the LORD. That is what I mean my head is FULL of the LORD……..In the WORD it says we will not understand all things……..but TRUST………..which is hard for the flesh! How are you doing on that front?

You cannot expect God to do the miraculous if you are not focused on your personal walk with Him. You cannot expect God to do something through you if you are not allowing Him to work in you every day of your life.

You cannot control the world, or even various facets of your world. What you can do is focus in on one hour every day that will give you the potential to see things the way God does as he empowers you to live and minister supernaturally.

Our personal relationship and fellowship with God in more important than anything else. Nothing should rise above this priority. If it does, the result will be an unhealthy life and family. So what is the most important thing to you?

What do you spend most of your time thinking about?…………………whatever that is….you will become!

You are good, but you are not good enough to have life, lead a family, hold a job, handle problems, be involved in your Church without a daily time with our Father.

“Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” James 1:22

To obey Christ’s commands requires two things knowing them and doing them. “Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them” John 13:17

We have more Bible study programs ever in America………….but we NEED TO DO THE WORD, NOT JUST READ IT!
