Dewey's Daily Cup

Dear KKIM/KARS Family,

My brother Daryl visited with his Doctor yesterday….and the Doctor said, “WOW! Daryl it seems your brother’s visit sure had a positive influence on you….you seem to have really changed…….” Daryl said, Yes, I enjoyed my Brothers visit, but I now have Jesus Christ in my heart, that is the real change, I was Baptized!”

PRAISE GOD PRAISE GOD FOR GOD’S GLORY ALONE!!!!

It is not us…..it is the LORD! We are to do our Father’s Business!!! AMEN! PRAISE GOD!

I pray that you have been able to have your CUP this morning…………reading your Bible and praying………

Wow…so very timely.  I have been thinking about the fact that I have no idea most of the time what purpose God has for what is happening or for what I think He is leading me to do….helps to remember that  is the norm!  That I need to listen to Him and do what I am hearing Him say, but that it is okay to have no idea or wonder why!  He knows.  We aren’t expected to.  I needed this today!  Thanks!

WOW! Lot’s of rain in the Duke City area last night.We played the last half of our doubleheader in the rain!!! We lost both games, but in the second, we just got beat by three runs by the First Place Team!

The plan that the Lord has for us is not to deliver us out of the world, but for us to invade the “power of darkness” with the dominion of Heaven. Breakthrough is when heaven invades the darkness on the earth. Breakthrough interrupts the devil’s plans, and it intrudes upon his works with the works of God. Breakthrough is when the devil’s plans of poverty, lack, sickness, division, decline, and decrease are replaces with God’s plans of abundance, blessing, health, unity, increase, and growth.

Please pray over this next message….Read the verses that are given……..pray and pray and seek the Lord’s Will in your life……….

The greatest thing for us is that we go up to Jerusalem to fulfill God’s purpose, not our own. In the natural life our ambitions are our own, but in the Christian life we have no goals of our own. We talk so much today about our decisions for this and that, but in the New testament the only aspect that is brought out is the compelling purpose of God. “You did not choose Me, but I chose you….” John 15:16

We are not taken into a conscious agreement with God’s purpose—-we are taken into God’s purpose with no awareness of it at all. We have no idea what God’s goal may be; as we continue, His purpose becomes even more and more vague. God’s aim appears to have missed the mark, because we are too nearsighted to see the target at which He is aiming. At the beginning of the Christian life, we have our own ideas as to what God’s purpose is. We say, “God means for me to go over there,” and, “God has called me to do this special work.” We do what we think is right, and yet the compelling purpose of God remains upon us. The work we do is no account when compared with the compelling purpose of God. It is simply the scaffolding surrounding His work and His plan. “he took the twelve aside…..” Luke 18:31. God takes us aside all the time. We have not yet understood all there is to know of the compelling purpose of God.

Seek the Face of Jesus……AMEN!
