For such a Time as This………
America is in trouble. But it is not too late…….PRAISE GOD!
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14
“I often hear it said “Do not bring religion into politics” This is precisely where it ought to be brought…..We have had enough of clever men without conscience. Now let us see what honest, God-fearing men will do.”  Rev. Charles Spurgeon
Great message…..now where are the God-fearing men and women that will do this?
Who was this man of Godly Wisdom……..his writings are alive!

Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 – January 31, 1892) was a British Particular Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the “Prince of Preachers”. This despite the fact that he was a strong figure in the Reformed Baptist tradition, defending the Church in agreement with the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith understanding, against liberalism and pragmatic theological tendencies even in his day.

In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people,[1] often up to 10 times each week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the congregation of the New Park Street Chapel (later the Metropolitan Tabernacle) in London for 38 years.[2] He was part of several controversies with the Baptist Union of Great Britain and later had to leave that denomination.[3] In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon’s which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon’s College, which was named after him posthumously.

Here is another bit of Godly Wisdom……….

“The church must take right ground in regards to politics….The time has come for Christians to vote for honest men, and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them….

God cannot sustain this free and blessed country, which we love and pray for, unless the Church will take right ground. Politics are a part of religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to their country as part of their duty to God…..

God will bless or curse this nation according to the course Christians take in politics.”

The Godly Wisdom words of Rev. Charles G. Finney

He is so right on! Why are not more Christians hearing the call?

Charles Grandison Finney (August 29, 1792(1792-08-29) – August 16, 1875) was a Presbyterian and Congregationalist figure in the Second Great Awakening. His influence during this period was enough that he has been called The Father of Modern Revivalism.[1]

Finney was known for his innovations in preaching and religious meetings such as having women pray in public meetings of mixed gender, development of the “anxious seat”, a place where those considering becoming Christians could come to receive prayer, and public censure of individuals by name in sermons and prayers.[2] He was also known for his use of extemporaneous preaching.

Many have asked me at times who is Oswald Chambers? who is Spurgeon? who is Tozer? I am thankful you ask! So that is why today I have included a short bio. I just love it when you ask questions!!!! Love ya!

This is what the Lord had me post today……..Please pray over these messages and pray for the CUP and KKIM/KARS as we go forth for our LORD!

Proverbs 29:2 tells us that,

Lord, we thank you for the lives of Spurgeon and Finney..WOW LORD! Their words ring true today! Thank you for such servants……let us go forth as boldly as they did for YOU! In the name of JESUS, AMEN!

May of our so called Leaders and Many Politicians feed on trash, that’s how they seem to keep their jobs! That seems to be the way they run their campaigns, feed on trash and not deal with Godly issues, it should not be that difficult!!!It is time to elect non-politicians! When I listen to the debates in Washington DC…The Republicans and Democrats are not in touch with God’s people. They all are responsible for where this Country is at, even as they blame each other. In New Mexico we have a very weak State Legislature who has let a crook run the state, many complain and do nothing but, complain! In Sunday’s edition of the Albuquerque Journal writer Leslie Linthicum was calling for the Gov to act like a Gov!!! Unfortunately I do not think this man knows how to act decently!In the last week we have had Two New Mexico State Representatives who stated there is Criminal Activity in the Richardson Administration, State Rep Nora Espinoza and State Rep. Dennis Roch. Let us give thanks for Nora and Dennis being BOLD IN OUR LORD! Then you have the debates between Denish and Martinez…………enough of the NOTHING NOISE……there is no need for debates in this race….As Christians we should know the light and should know the darkness…….in that race, as I talked with Pastor Steve Smothermon on Radio and TV, Martinez is the light…..zero in on Godly issues and that is where Martinez wins……We need not get tied up in the NOTHING NOISE of the darkness. My dad had a saying he used many times….call a spade a spade..call it what it is…..too many have bought into Political Correctness……when I hear that term I get ill! You have to look at the individual candidates……and look at where they stand on the Bible. Many Republicans, just like Democrats running, do not know the Bible, just look at their record. Many like using God to get elected. We as the Church need to carry out the Great Commission and reach many. Read below a Parents letter on School Bullying here in New Mexico and also race relations at APS…it is included in our prayer needs today…..
Just one more thing on this topic……The last I looked…….we should be able to tell the difference between extreme darkness and the BRIGHT LIGHT!

Please pray for the Jason Mock family as they have many challenges like many of us do in these times. Jason and his wife own, Thunderstruck Signs, a KKIM/KARS Ministry Sponsor. I have seen reports in the last few days of racial problems in APS Schools, White Vs. Black.so sad……..and an ongoing problem in many schools, Bullying! Here is What Jason shares with me………Can you Imagine!!!!
main reason for my email. My son Devvon which you have not met I don’t think started middle school up here in Rio Rancho last month and has been the victim of very bad bullying since day one. Now you I am sure are well aware of our lovely public school systems and their lack of action on matters such as this. It has gone so far as these kids held him down on the bus and colored on his face with a marker and then said “if you tell anyone we will cut you” . Man o man I do not envy my son and what he has to put up with these days in school one bit. I am so glad that when I was in school it was just a fist fight you had to worry about. Of course the only action the school has taken was to suspend the kids from the bus for one week. The bullying has of course continued at school and in the neighborhood, until one day my son had had enough and hit one of the kids that were agressing him at the park and then got a three day suspension that started last Monday because of it. Dawn and I being fed up took him over to Menaul school and had him check out the campus. Everyone was very nice and excepting of him there and the music department is excited to have him because of his natural talent on the guitar. I can show you video after video on youtube of him playing the guitar which he has never had a lesson for and is quite good at. Now we are facing trying to figure out how to cover the half of the tuition that financial aid will not take care of which is roughly $7,000 per year. That is why he dictated the attached letter. If there is anyone you know of that would take interest in the situation, will you please pass this information along to them along with my contact information. Thank you so much for your friendship and prayers and know that we continue to pray for you as well.

How can parents feel good about sending their Children to Public Schools? As I have stated before it all starts at home.If you have GANG PARENTS, Your going to have GANG kids!!! many Children are growing up without Parents, with gang members as parents……..darkness……darkness…….So you can’t continue to throw money at the Schools and expect this problem to go away. We had this bullying situation with Lars…….it took our attention and our own money to get Lars in a safe learning environment. many parents DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY! We have to work on this and get the Politicians out of it as they have really messed this up.
Let us keep Devvon in our prayers…….If you can help Devvon and the family let me know……..Here’s the deal…Many of our Public Schools have gone down hill…..and all the Politicians want to do is throw money at the problem….Money will not solve these problems. Biblical principles will……brining God back into our Schools…….But many do not want to hear that. Most Politicians are full of NOTHING NOISE anyhow!!!! Republicans and Democrats! It is time to elect non-politicians! When you look at New Mexico and none of the Legislator’s or the Gov’s office is calling for the firing of the Lobo Football Coach is  in constant trouble and collecting a half million dollars and his best shot was decking his assistant coach!!! This tell’s you where these people have their heads!!!! In the sand or in the sky!!! This problem is deep, it start’s at home…….so we have to continue to carry out the Great Commission and reach many. It is time to start over as far as our Public School system is concerned it is to far out of wack now, it needs to be blown up and a make over done!

Dear Dewey, Please remember me in your prayers. In the last 10 days I have had 5 Migraine head aches, so today I am going in for a CT Scan, and the Dr wants me to also see a Neurologist. But my headaches may be from Vasculitis that I was diagnosed with.. And with that I cannot take Aspirin or any type of blood thinners which makes a headache just last longer.
I pray they find something very simple because after my last operation on my Neck at UCLA I swore OFF of operations..  Maybe they can stop my headaches tho, and that would be a blessing… TY sincerely, sam And a Big TY to all the Prayer Warriors!

KKIM/KARS Frank Haley just let me know that his daughter Lydia starts a new job today……but all three of Lydia’s babies are sick today with fever and throwing up! Please keep all in your prayers!

I had such great news the last time I wrote, but I have to tell you that the Gal who was so gracious to see me at the magazine and gave me the opportunity and believed in me has been let go from her job with them of 10 years. The way they did it was so bad.
Of course it was done underhandedly and she had no idea. She is one of the most humble, nicest, and with great integrity people I have ever met. She called me yesterday and we both cried as I told her there was something else that God had in mind for her. Bigger, better, and that she would find peace within. I was just devastated and when I told her I would put her on your prayer list, she again cried.  Why is this world doing these terrible things, no warnings no write ups, always good reports. They hired a friend of a friend to take her place. She loved her job.
Please ask your readers to pray for Rae. Darling Gal with 3 little girls and a husband. A good Christian and so caring of others. Gave me this fabulous opportunity.

Prayers please:  as we go to bed tonight our fellow servants at Central India Christian Mission are going to court.  A worker at the mission hospital committed suicide and the Hindu extremists are accusing the mission of pushing him to suicide because he wouldn’t “covert” to Christianity.  It is a bogus claim but one that is now in the courts.  Please pray for Brother A.J. Lall and the hospital doctors.  This hospital is the only one in the region of 13 million folks and completely free in cost to anyone coming to the hospital.

Again, I say your are sweet. The comment Pastor Leonard shared was this:

“What we think is a deadend is often God’s detour to a better way.” If I’m not mistaken, it was a retweet (that showed up on FB) from Rick Warren…don’t quote me on that bit of info as I may have that wrong.

I won’t bore you with why it spoke volumes to my decision to cancel, but suffice it say, it help lead Judy and me to the right decision. The dream was what put me over the top. No denying God’s message when those two messages were combined 🙂

Here’s Pastor Leonard who has been holding a Revival in Texas, but now is home………
WOW my brother.  Didn’t realize what I said or wrote spoke to Shona and I do so many through the day with Tweets and posting you’ll have to ask Shona which one it was that spoke to her.  One for you today, “God is seldom early, but He is never late”.
Last nite of the revival.  It has been awesome…great worship, praise, Bible study even though attendance started low the attendance has increased each night and we give God praise honor and glory for being so faithful with His people and His Word.  But, I am anxious to be back home, fly out of Austin Saturday and be back share with my wonderful family at VVCC and you all at KKIM.  Sunday’s Bible Study will be the last in the Parables (The Prodigal Son) then on October 3rd I will begin a new Sunday series on “Old Testament Prophecies fulfilled in Jesus the Messiah” leading up to Christmas.  So the fall is filling up and I have one more revival scheduled for Rockdale, TX, Rockdale Christian Church, last week of October.  sola deo gloria.  For God’s Glory Alone!
