Thursday CUP with Dewey KKIM/KARS DDC
To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights—and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, “I am with you. I cannot tell you why right now, but one day it will all make sense. You will see it was all part of my plan. It was no accident. It was no failure on your part. Hold fast. Let me embrace you in your hour of pain.”
Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail—his love prevails. Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word. There is no other hope in this world.
Final Blog by the Late Rev. David Wilkerson, more on his sudden passing in this CUP…Let us be in prayer.
Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
I also wanted to tell you that I climbed in bed about 9 o’clock, went to sleep for a very short time and then I was awakened. Couldn’t go back to sleep and became very restless. I felt the need to come to the computer and do “something”. And I saw your words “Urgent Prayer Request”.
God is at work among His people. We must watch and pray without ceasing
Have good dreams, Dewey.
In Christ,
Kay
Lord Jesus we lift up to you our Sister Juliet and thank you for her
healing and restoration.
Blessings. Let us know how she is doing.
Pastor Jim
Pastor Paul
Just a note here on getting Juliet admitted to the Hospital Mark had to pay $500.00 on the spot and he will have to pray 20% of the charges out of pocket…..I just ad this to say I am so disappointed in this system….it is sad to me to see these people in Congress that get elected and then have all their health care taken care of….while the common folk suffer and we pay way too much in taxes….they get us coming and going, and I really believe most of these folks run for office for the benefits….which are enormous…..you never see any common folk get elected do you??? Right, because we do not have the money to get elected. Elections are bought now a days. Former NM State Rep and candidate for Gov. of NM, Janice E Arnold Jones who is pondering her Political future says, “Sadly, it takes lot’s of money.”

Rev. David Wilkerson, founding pastor of Times Square Church in New York City and author of the well-known book The Cross and the Switchblade, was killed Wednesday in a head-on collision in Texas. He was 79.
“It is with deepest of sadness that we have to inform you of the sudden passing of Reverend David Wilkerson, our founding pastor,” Times Square Church Senior Pastor Carter Conlon said in a statement on the church website.
Conlon added that details of the family’s wishes and a memorial service would be provided as information became available.
How did Pastor David Wilkerson’s ministry and life impact you?
Crash Details
Wilkerson was driving east on U.S. 175 in Texas Wednesday afternoon, and moved into the opposite lane where a tractor trailer was driving westbound. The truck driver saw the car and tried to move out of the way, but still collided with the pastor’s car head on, according to Public Safety Trooper Eric Long.
It’s unclear what caused Wilkerson to veer into the other lane. His wife Gwen was also involved in the crash and rushed to the hospital, along with the truck driver.
Wilkerson was pronounced dead on the scene.
Last Words
Wilkerson posted a blog dated April 27 — the day of his death. In the post, titled “When All Means Fail,” he encouraged those facing difficulty to “hold fast” and stand strong in faith.
“To those going through the valley and shadow of death, hear this word: Weeping will last through some dark, awful nights, and in that darkness you will soon hear the Father whisper, “I am with you,'” Wilkerson wrote. “Beloved, God has never failed to act but in goodness and love. When all means fail-his love prevails. Hold fast to your faith. Stand fast in his Word. There is no other hope in this world.”

Word of the accident began to spread Wednesday night on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Christians urged prayer for Mrs. Wilkerson, who’s in critical condition.
Rev. Wilkerson’s Impact
Wilkerson’s cousin Rich Wilkerson confirmed the death on Twitter.
“It is confirmed my dear cousin David Wilkerson lost his life in a tragic car accident this afternoon..Prayers r needed at this time,” he tweeted.
Rev. Wilkerson spent the early part of his ministry reaching out to gang members and drug addicts in New York, as told in his bestselling book The Cross and the Switchblade.
“The term LEGEND is often used to describe a person of extreme influence but what about a man that supersedes superlatives..david wilkerson,” his cousin tweeted right after confirming his death.
In 1971, he started World Challenge, Inc. as an umbrella for his crusades, conferences, evangelism and other ministry. The Times Square Church was founded under the group in 1987.
The church is now led by Pastor Carter Conlon and has more than 8,000 members.
Wilkerson also founded Teen Challenge, a Christian outreach program for troubled young people.
“Please remember the Wilkerson family in your prayers as our founder, Rev. David Wilkerson, went to be with the Lord this evening,” Teen Challenge told Twitter followers.
He is survived by his wife, four children and 11 grandchildren.
Alabama’s emergency management agency says their death toll has gone up to 128, while Mississippi officials are reporting 32 dead in that state. Another 11 have been killed in Georgia and one each in Tennessee and Virginia.
Fire information officer Jennifer Myslivy says the fire, dubbed the Last Chance Fire, is 40 percent contained.
The winds had hampered firefighting efforts Tuesday, but they were lighter Wednesday. Myslivy says that has allowed helicopters to take to the air to help the firefighters on the ground.
Excellent progress was made due in large part to the hard work of firefighters and the five air tankers, she said. Successful burnout operations continued into Wednesday from Tuesday night, helping to secure the fire perimeter to existing roads CR 405 and Highway 137.
Fire personnel used direct suppression tactics following air tanker drops to contain the fire and keep it moving beyond Highway 137 and the community of Queen, Myslivy said.
The fire broke out Sunday near a forest road 5 miles west of Queen in an area of grass, brush and pinon trees. Estimates placed the fire at approximately 40 percent containment late Tuesday with 49,000 acres burned on U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, state and private land.
Queen is 40 miles southwest of Carlsbad, and officials say smoke has been visible in the Carlsbad area.
A Burned Area Emergency Rehabilitation (BAER) has been ordered by the Lincoln National Forest to evaluate the damage caused by the fire.
Tim Sweet of the Billy the Kid Museum in Fort Sumner, NM was on with me yesterday……among the things Tim shared with us is the Ft. Sumner Lake will dry up in 2 months if they get no rain.
Water and Oil the next big battle this Country is facing right now!
Has the world forgotten about Japan?
Have we forgotten about Israel?
Just asking………we must be in prayer……….do not let the World events shake you.Be in prayer……..stay close to our Lord……Hold is hand…….He is with you……As Pastor Garland Moore says, “Keep your eye’s fixed on Jesus!!!”
When we are in the Will of God He promises to protect us and guide us….when we are out of the Will of God we will wither………
Stand strong my friends, Stand strong with God….do not move unless HE tell’s you to…….
He may have you stand where you are for 1 day……2 years…….5 years….40 years………..Stand Strong in the Will of God! AMEN! PRAISE GOD! For God’s Glory Alone!
In the Love of Christ, Dewey Sharon and Family
