Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
Thank you for your prayers for Sharon’s Mom as she underwent heart tests  yesterday and the test results were good. Betty remains in the Hospital because  her lungs are not cleared up yet. Sharon and I thank you for your  prayers.
Willing to be Used

The meek are those who are willing to be used by God. Amazed that God       would save them, they are just as surprised that God could use them. They       are a junior-high-school clarinet section playing with the Boston Pops.       They don’t tell the maestro how to conduct; they’re just thrilled to be       part of the concert.

That is from Max Lucado…….Willing to be used…….being used is       not good according to the secular world……many of us grew up and having       people tell us, “Don’t you know Dewey, your being used!” Today on the CUP       we talk about being used and friendships in Jesus Christ. God will use us       in all types of situations for His Glory Alone! Enjoy the CUP today and I       hope to see you sometime today in Los  Lunas……..

Today my prayer for you all is that you have great fellowship!
Fellowship is so good for the soul.
All week I was blessed to have Pastor Paul Holt with me. People have  been praying that others would come to the Radio Ranch and help, Paul did.
Pastor Leonard Navarre comes to help also when he can.
Pastor Jim Montoya comes when he can.
Ryan Freeman is always ready to serve.
Pastor Mark Tross and Pastor Larry Moss come on Saturdays to help.
Sandy Harrington always helps on Thursdays.
My wife Sharon is my number one support, she sacrifices much for  me.
Pastor Don Kimbro always stops in and gives me a hug!
Pastor Garland Moore will call and say I am praying for you  Brother!!!!
Karen Rowe always emails me encouragement.
Shona Neff is always giving out love and encouragement to us on Facebook  and emails!
Wanel Pate is always dropping me an email or stopping into the  station.
WOW! I started typing this and so many names are coming to me in a Godly  way. I am going to leave many out! So Sorry!!!!
I am so blessed to have these men/women, AND MANY MORE, in my life.  PRAISE GOD! For God’s Glory Alone….It takes the BODY OF CHRIST to fulfill the Great Commission and be the Salt and Light! We must be together in our Lord!
They give much.
WOW! The Body of Christ in action!
They all have a heart of a servant, not their will but, Gods.
I am surrounded by Godly people.
Who you surround yourself with, is what you are or what you will  become.

It is good for Brother in Christ that can  come together and praise and worship our Lord and Savior in Jesus Christ in  Freedom.  I had a wonderfully time today and let us do it again soon.

Next time, let  me be a blessing to you.  You are always a blessing to  me.

A Christ centered friendship is such a wonderful  blessing……..let us all thank the Lord for the God given relationships we  have.

One thing I hear from folks that prevents them from  relationships is past hurts. I have had some just this year, when you trust  people and you become close them ….and then the relationship turns sour  or goes backwards because the relationship was not centered in Jesus Christ. I  have been prayed over many times and of late people have been praying that I  will not be used. It seems when I have a relationship go south, it is because  the person or person’s is trying to take me or the Ministry down the wrong road.  It is God given discernment that we can have that is the best aid in these  situations. God will stir our spirit when we are getting into something UnGodly.  It hurts, I know .I have been hurt…..and over some I still hurt. But we must  follow God’s Will in our relationships.

This is why some people avoid relationships and  trust……or just lay everything out for the Lord. They do not want to get  hurt.

When we turn over our life to Jesus Christ, God will use  us for His Glory Alone. We will not always understand how God us using us in  relationships.

I just had a man tell me, “Dewey, beware you have and  are going to have people try to use you.”

But you know what, God wants me to reach out to others  and PRAISE GOD, some of these folks who have gone away disappointed in me or  ministry work come back for a friendship, some after 20 plus years! YES! PRAISE  GOD!

Do not let past or present hurts prevent you from having  a Servants heart! How do you think Jesus feels about that!

What would have happened if Jesus would have let past  hurts get to Him??!!!??!!!

We must always reach out to others and pray on those  relationships and continue to carry out the Great Commission and reach others  for Jesus.

Just one more thing on relationships, We as people of  God must not gossip, must not lie, and must have honest open relationships. We  must not say one thing and then do another thing. Do not present yourself and  your feelings toward another and  then change who you are to that  person.

Much was made of the Date yesterday May 21st, and the world coming to an  end……I was asked so much about this date……We need to be in God’s Word  and then we know how to react when the false teachers come about……..

Hello  all,
I had lunch  yesterday with Ray Jaramillo, the pastor of Calvary Chapel of the Rio Grande  Valley in Belen. He related a story that I thought you would enjoy regarding  Pastor Harold Camping’s much ballyhooed false prophecy about the world coming to  an end today, May 21. He said that a Calvary Chapel pastor in Camping’s  hometown, recently offered him $50,000 cash for his radio station property,  called Family Radio, if he would deed it over to Calvary Chapel, as of  May 22. Camping refused. I suppose he didn’t have that much confidence in  his prophecy did he? God bless.

Dear KKIM/KARS Family,
May God be with you and yours this day and all days……….
I have been wanting to share with you more on what I am learning about prayer…….Learning about prayer you say? Many think we just pray…….Well, yes we do, but there is more to it than that. I love reading about all the wonderful, Godly history of people of prayer.
Do you pray with faith?
Do you pray with doubt?
How often do you pray?
Do you at times moan and groan as you pray sometimes? I carry such needs for other’s, I sometimes will do just that…….
Do you FEEL the needs of others?
What do you pray about?
We have lot’s to talk about……….I want to share the Word of our Lord with you……..
“I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works I do. And He will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
John 14: 12-14
Do your pray like that? Do you believe in those words?
WOW! POWERFUL! The Word of God!
R.A Torrey  writes that we must BELIEVE! Give up Control of our lives!
To believe on (Torrey uses the words, we must believe ON Jesus Christ)
To believe ON Jesus Christ means to put our personal confidence in Jesus Christ in what He claims to be, and to accept Him to be to us what He says He will be to us. It means for us to accept Him as our Savior, as the one who bore our sins in His own body upon the Cross. It means to trust God to forgive us because Jesus Christ died in our place, and also to receive Christ as our Lord and Master and surrender absolute control of our lives to Him. This we are told in so many words in the first chapter of the Book of John in the 12th verse…….”But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
Torrey add’s, and I believe this is where we go haywire in our prayers…….God promises to answer our prayers, yes……..but He also says…….”If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Therefore, the promise is made to those who believe on Jesus Christ and who love Him with that genuine love that leads us to keep His commandments.
Are you keeping God’s commandments?
We have talked about this before,when we do not keep His commandments, we deter our prayers.
If your prayers are not being answered, what we have shared this morning, may give you a better understanding of a prayful life. I am praying that it does.
Look at America, we pray for our Country, but we continue to sin as a Nation……..we have abortion, we turn our backs on Israel……… we have greed, sex, drugs…..etc.How can God honor our Nation?, He cannot.

Yesterday was a very sad day in American History, where the President of the United States turned his back on Israel. This means bad news for America. People were asking me yesterday, Can you believe it? Sadly my answer is, “With this President it should not surprise us!”

President Obama on Thursday endorsed Palestinians’ demand for their own state based on borders that existed before the 1967 Middle East war. The move comes ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech next week to a joint session of Congress. Do you agree with Obama’s decision?

Today in Peoria, Arizona at 10am is the Funeral for Harmon Killebrew……
I was able to share on WFRN radio with Doug Moore more thoughts on the life of Harmon and how he was such a role model for me and thousands of others. This is a very heart warming story……….

Jack Guiney meets hero Harmon Killebrew at a Manhattan hospital on May 20, 1964.
This is the stuff that legends are made of.
Eight-year-old Jack Guiney, hospitalized in New York for weeks with burns over half of his body, greeted his hero as he strode into the room on May 20, 1964.
It was Harmon Killebrew. The Twins slugger was in town for a two-game series with the Yankees.
Killebrew gave an autographed baseball to Jack, who pulled a ball glove from under his pillow and said, “Would you autograph my glove, too?”
After a little baseball chatter — “I’m a shortstop,” the bandaged boy said — Killebrew made a deal with the lad: “If you hurry up and get well, the next time I’m in town, I’ll take you out to the ball park and you can meet all the fellows.”
With the afternoon game near, Killebrew said it was time he headed head to the stadium.
“I’ll watch you on television,” the blue-eyed, freckle-faced youngster said from his Manhattan hospital bed.
“Maybe I’ll hit you a couple,” Killebrew responded.
Sure enough, he did just that, starting with a two-run home run in the first inning. The second homer came on his last at-bat, a solo shot in the eighth inning, capping off the Twins’ 7-4 victory.
The New York Daily News and Jack’s father arranged the visit for the boy, whose altar boy robes caught fire as he was lighting candles at his parish church in Brooklyn. The newspaper’s bedside photo appeared in the Minneapolis Morning Tribune the next day and was sent across the nation on the UPI picture wire.
Jack soon left the hospital and indeed was Killebrew’s guest in New York nearly four months later when the Twins played the Yankees on Sept. 12, 1964, posing together for news photographers along the rail before the game. Killebrew gave him one of his bats.
And this time, Jack saw for himself Killebrew’s awesome power when the Twins star belted a two-run homer deep into the left-field stands in the first inning.
Guiney is now 55 years old and lives in Queens, not far from where he met his childhood idol. That hospital visit 47 years ago “lifted my spirits. I watched the whole game from my hospital bed. I was shocked” when Killebrew made good on his two-home run call.
“[Last week] I was listening to the radio and heard he was sick,” Guiney said. “I said a little prayer when I heard that.”
Guiney said he took the news of Killebrew’s death Tuesday pretty hard and can attest to what “they said in the paper — that he was a great ballplayer but a greater human being.”
I am mourning the loss of my Uncle Joe yet, and now Harmon, I mourn for the loss of the example they set for me and many others. For the daily phone calls of wisdom I would get from Joe. Huge void in my life.

Scott Cheney continues to improve.
Suzanne Cavalier’s condition is also improving.
